Hey everyone! Saiyan Rochelle here! Just wanted to give you all a heads up that around the middle of the story, it will switch to Third Person P.O.V. and it will be jumping a bit from person to person. So it may be a bit confusing. If so, just leave a comment and I will answer any questions; as long as it doesn't reval anything about chapters to come 😉

Yugi

"Yugi, you can't be serious!" Yami says to me as I pack the last of my things into a bag. I go across the room and take my cell phone from the charger, "Going up against Sebastian is insane!" I ignore him as I zip up the brown backpack, the same one I had brought to Duelist Kingdom, and sling over my left shoulder. I hear a low growl of frustration from behind me. Yami goes and takes both of my shoulders under his ghostly hands and spins me around to look at him, "Do you not remember what Yumi sai-"

"I perfectly remember what Yumi said!" I snap, Yami gasps at my sudden outburst and releases his fairly tight grip on my shoulders. My hands clench into fists as a mix of emotions begins to wash away any feeling of fear that I have. The kind of feeling that I have at this moment; a mix of anger, frustration, regret, loss, sadness, the list just goes on and on. It felt as though boiling water was running through my veins. I take a deep breath trying to calm myself as much as I possibly can. I look up and face Yami with a serious look, "I know where she is, so I'm going to find her. Simple as that."

Yami closes his eyes for a moment and lets out a distressed sigh. He crosses his arms and walks over to the desk. He leans against it and looks to me with a frustrated glare, "Yugi, you know as well as I do that this is completely absurd."

I feel my finger nails begin to dig into my skin as a wav of frustration washes over me, "Absurd or otherwise, I'm going to get her."

Yami closes his eyes as his tilts his head towards the ground, pinching the bridge of his nose, "Yugi..." He says in a taut voice, "Sebastian is dangerous to someone of Yumi's strengths and capabilities, imagine what he would be like to you. Do you have any idea as to what you are going up against!?"

I stood there for a moment, actually attempting to think about my actions for the first time since I found Yumi's location. As much as I want to just want to march into that warehouse and get Yumi, Yuma, and that other girl out, I can't. I'm not strong enough to do something like that. My hands unclenched themselves and relaxed at my sides. I then took the Millennium Puzzle into my hands and look down onto it. But there has got to be something I can do...

Then I had idea, "Yami, we're leaving." I unlocked the skylight window in my room and leapt into the air, Yami disappears from my room and goes back into the puzzle.

I flew as fast as I could go through the air. The wind was wiping through my tri-colored hair and the air felt cold against the skin on my face. I had to cover my eyes with my arms from the harsh winds of the night sky. I flew over Domino City, all lit up in bright colors for nightlife. The cars look like shining ants from the sky above; the people look even smaller. I flew past many sky-rises, most of them empty. I even fly past Kiaba Corp. building; and as I did I look into the widows and see my reflection.

I stop flying for a few moments and just stare into my reflection. It's kind of weird though, seeing your reflection in the ninety-something story window of a Kiaba Corp office. It's like looking in a normal mirror, but then you realize that your about 900 feet off the ground. But one thing I still can't grasp; why am I so persistent in getting Yumi back? Sure, she's a close friend and I was devastated when I heard the news, but it seems to burn a hole in my heart thinking that Sebastian has taken her for me...Wait, what!? I just float there, looking at my reflection with wide eyes as I realize what I jus thoguht, "Taken her from me..." I whisper to myself, "What is happening to me?"

I snap back to reality when I see the hall light turn on from underneath the door. I see the doorknob begin to turn, as though someone is unlocking it. I turn my body back towards the harbor and fly off before I am seen.

As I get towards the harbor, I pull out my cell phone and dial a number. The phone rings a few times before the person answers, "Hello?" He asks, his voice groggy as if they had been asleep for some time.

I smile after he picks up, "Gohan, I know where Yumi is and I need you help."

<><><><><><><><><><>(2 hours later)<><><><><><><><><><>

Yumi

The crowd screams and cheers as Harley, Yuma, and myself return to the stage after performing "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence, however that was about two hours ago. But all three of us look to them with dead looks, as though they were just a brick wall. I feel like snapping the neck of the guitar I hold in my left hand. I know that Sebastian had gathered all of his Society Members for a reason, but he seems as though he will not say anything it about in Harley, Yuma, or my presence. But I know that whatever the reason, it somehow involves me and my powers; and that makes me sick to my stomach thinking about that. But I stand there a bit confused, we were to perform once, but now we have been called back.

Sebastian walks to the front of the crowd and jumps onto an old crate, to which I was secretly hoping he would fall through. He stands up straight and raises a hand, everyone begins to quiet, "Now wasn't that a great performance!" He yells, the crowd cheers in response. I just clench my teeth, hoping to get back to the cell as soon as possible so I can hope that I'm not involved in what ever Sebastian has planned for tonight, "But that's was only half the show!"

"Oh God...." I hear Harley say a bit frightfully behind me.

"What does he have planned?" I whisper to myself.

Sebastian gives me a sideways look from down below, than turns back to the crowd, "These three...lovely ladies...have one more song to play for you all!" The crowd uproars in cheers again in response.

"Huh!?"

"Of course..."

"Should have seen this coming."

"But what are we gonna play!?" Yuma whisper yells to Harley and I.

I turn towards the group, but not without giving Sebastian a sideways death glare, and try to think of some songs, "I dunno, I mean the only other songs I know by heart, that these guys would like, are all sung by guys."

Harley looks to me with an exasperated look, "We can still do that..."

"But I need time to figure the note changes for a different voice!" I exclaim, only loud enough that our little circle could hear.

Yuma sweat drops, "Can't we just sing any song?" She asks, becoming inpatient.

"No we can't!" I say quickly, Yuma and Harley become crestfallen. I take my index finger to my head and try to think, "We can't do any song because I really want to be able to get under Sebastian's skin somehow."

Harley huffs and gives Sebastian a quick sideways glance and than looks back to us, "There's not much you can do to get under that monster's skin."

Yuma puts a hand on my shoulder, "Believe me love, you might regret getting under his skin-"

"Wait!" I say, that invisible-to-everyone-else light bulb going off above my head. Monster...love...regret... I pound a fist into my palm, "I got it!"

"This should be good..." Yuma and Harley say in unison, now probably a bit worried for what I have in mind.

I sulk a little, "Oh come on! I have a good idea every once in a while."

Harley looks to me, trying to stay serious but that sweat drop is hanging on her hairline, "More 'once' than 'a while' though."

"Oh just shut it and listen you two," an evil smirk grows on my face, "I have an idea."

I explain my idea to Harley and Yuma, giving them the little backstory that goes along with my plan. Everything I could possibly explain from my life, relating to this song, I told them. The relations left them slack-jawed. I would tell you all the song and relations now, but what fun would that be?

"Whoa..." They both say after I finish explaining.

I give them a weak smile as I look to the floor, my hair covering my eyes from their view, "Yeah, this song doesn't bring back memories of rainbows and unicorns...." I lift my head and give Yuma and Harley the brightest smile I could muster without being creepy, "But I've been waiting for a time like this to get under Sebastian's skin."

Yuma and Harley look to each other a bit concerned, but then turn to me with a weak smile, "Alright, as long as this doesn't cause to much trouble."

My eyes grow bright and I nod, "Yes! So you all know your parts for this song?"

"Me on drums and back up vocals." Harley says

"Me on lead guitar and also back up vocals." Yuma says

I turn around to the crowd and smirk, "And Me on lead vocals and back up guitar."

~Third Person P.O.V.~

Yumi walks towards the rusted railings of the banister and looks down towards Sebastian and his crowd of lackey's, "Yo Sebby! We're ready!" Yumi yells down to him. Sebastian turns towards Yumi with a dark look while the crowd around him laughs uncontrollably from their tipsy state. Yumi shudders under a bit under that familiar dark glare, but tries to laugh it off as she walks back towards Yuma and Harley. "Part one of pissing off Sebastian, complete." She says.

Sebastian takes his place on top of the old crate to get everyone's attention once again, "Attention everyone!" He bellows, the crowd gathered stops talking almost immediately and turns towards Sebastian, "Part 2 of the performance is about to begin!" The crowd uproars as Sebastian jumps down from the crate and turns towards the banister hanging a few feet above the crowd's heads.

Unknown to anyone inside the warehouse, two intruders who embark on a rescue mission now stand on the tall banister hanging under the windows of the warehouse. The two land on the rusting banister and it moans under the unfamiliar weight of the two. "Geez, I didn't think we were that heavy." Gohan says, looking down at the rusting banister and towards the ground that you can see through the banisters weaved metal.

"We're not," Yugi starts, looking down towards the ground a bit nervously, "This warehouse is just that old." Yugi wipes the little bit of sweat from his hairline. He takes of his backpack and begins to remove his jacket, "It could also be that it's a tad bit warmer here than in Domino."

Gohan looks to Yugi a bit nervously as he removes his jacket, "Or it could be that you just flew over 100 miles. Are you sure you're all right? That was your first long flight on your own."

Yugi looks to Gohan with a set expression, "I told you, I'll be fine-" Yugi stops mid-sentence when he hears the sound of someone else speak, someone from inside the warehouse. And it was a voice so familiar to him. Yugi whips around and looks through the dirty window, and he gasps at what he sees.

"What?" Gohan cleans a part of the glass to look through; Yugi does the same to see better, "No way!"

"We found her!" Yugi and Gohan exclaim at the same time, looking through the windows towards the banister inside the warehouse to see Yumi, Yuma, and another girl standing on it.

"But what are they doing with those instruments?" Yugi questions, looking at the guitar that Yumi holds in her hands.

"Hello Everyone!" Yumi says into the microphone given to her, "We are now going to sing a song that I have a personal connection with. I feel like this song is what describes the...relationship...between Sebastian and myself. So here it is..." Yumi looks to Sebastian, "Hope you enjoy." She says in a bit of a sinister tone.

Yugi and Gohan duck down a bit and watch from the banister outside, not wanting to be caught. The music begins to paly, "Describes their relationship...this should be interesting." Gohan comments. Then Yumi begins to sing.

Her little whispers,

"Love me, love me

That's all I ask for

Love me, love me."

She battered her tiny fists to feel something

Wondered what it's like to touch and feel something

Yumi looks to Sebastian, staring with such a look that she would cut right through his head if looks could do such a thing.

Monster,

How should I feel?

Creatures lie here

Looking through the window

Yumi goes back to playing her guitar and looks back up towards the crowds. Yugi looks to Yumi with a look of surprise, I get it, Sebastian must be the monster and all Yumi wanted was a normal friendship.

That night he caged her

Bruised and broke her

He struggled closer

Then he stole her

Violet wrists and then her ankles

Silent Pain

Then he slowly saw their nightmares were his dreams

Yumi then looks towards Sebastian with the same sinister look she had before.

Monster,

How should I feel?

Creatures lie here

Looking through the windows

I will

Hear their voices

I'm a glass child,

I am Hannah's regrets

Yumi almost shouted he last line, but Yugi and Gohan noticed right away that Yumi has struck a nerve with Sebastian. "Don't you ever mention that name in front of me!" Sebastian shouts over the instrumental.

"Why not Sebastian?" Yumi taunted, "I'm not allowed to mention the name of your once dear sister?"

Everyone in the room gasps, including Gohan and Yugi, "Sebastian...has a sister?" they whisper yell

Yumi's face grew into a devilish look, "Hannah Simmons, the one who did anything you asked. Even when she had a hand in harming me, she regretted doing it, and she would tell me herself!" Sebastian growls at Yumi, he had had enough, "That's why I am Hannah's regret!"

Monster,

How should I feel?

Turn the sheets down

Murder ears with pillow lace

There's bath tubs

Full of glow flies

Bathe in kerosene

Their words tattooed in his veins, yeah!

The song finishes, and everyone in the room is speechless. Sebastian, however, looks furious. He bangs down the cup he holds, shattering it into many pieces, and looks up to Yumi with a dark expression. Yumi shivers from the look, but suppresses the urge to be firgthened. She stands with a confident look, hoping that her appearance will lessen whatever punishment Sebastian has in order for her.

But then Sebastian begins...to laugh.

His laughter fills the warehouse in an almost inhuman echo. The sound would bounce off the walls and return only to feel as if it were cutting through you. Yumi then visibly shudders from the both the sound of Sebastian laughter and the realization that he has something horrible planned.

Sebastian contains his laughter after a good minute or so, "I was going to save this for later," He says first, than he turns to the crowd gathered behind him, "But I guess revealing the reason I called you all here tonight now is good a time as any." The crowd uproars in cheers once again.

Gohan and Yugi turn away from the window and sit down on the banister, their backs against the wall of the warehouse, "I have a bad feeling." Gohan says, looking out into the harbor of West City.

Yugi turns to Gohan with a glazed expression, "Well I would think so." He says matter-of-factly, "Yumi's been kidnapped by none other than Sebastian, her worst enemy and greatest fear, and you just now have a bad feeling!?" Yugi hangs his head and looks away form Gohan.

Almost immediately a glow comes from Yugi's Millennium Puzzle and a circle of ancient hieroglyphics forms around him. Yugi's body glows a faint blue color, than it subsides after a few seconds. Gohan looks to Yugi with a quizzical expression. He picks up his head and turns to Gohan; now looking almost completely different.

Yugi had transformed into his counterpart, Yami Yugi; the one whom he was talking to earlier. Yami Yugi, better known to Yugi's friends as Yami, could be Yugi's almost identical twin. Yami was maybe two inches taller than Yugi and had a much more mature look to him. Yami's hair was the same black base-maroon tip, shaped somewhat into a star, with golden lightning bangs. His eyes were shaper and pools of a color lying somewhere between amethyst and crimson. He wears the same clothes as Yugi and his muscle stand out just a tad more than Yugi's.

Gohan stares at Yami for a second, still a bit confused. Yami arches his brow towards Gohan, sending that 'Why are you staring at me?' message. Gohan rubs the back of his neck and looks towards the floor when he realizes he was staring, "Er...Yami?" Gohan asks, not totally sure of whom he is talking to.

"Yes, Gohan?" Yami replies.

Gohan looks back to Yami, "Um, not to be rude, but why did you come out?" He asks, not trying to offend the ancient spirit

Yami gets up and looks into the warehouse through the window, "Unlike Yugi, I can normally keep my head together under times of great stress."

Inside the warehouse, the Egyptian man (whose name no one knows yet) senses something; an ancient power that is quite familiar to him. And then an evil smirk grows on his face, The Millennium Puzzle...this is my lucky day. The Egyptian man moves away from his little crowd of women that had formed around him and goes over towards Sebastian. He moves up next to Sebastian, who is still in a deadlocked 'staring contest' with Yumi. The Egyptian man puts a hand on Sebastian's shoulder, "Whatever you are planning to do, you should do it now."

Sebastian turns his attention from Yumi and towards the Egyptian man with a glowering expression. The man motions to the windows just to the left of them. Sebastian looks out of the corners of his eyes, and an evil smirks grows on his face when he spots Yami. Sebastian keeps his eyes on Yami as he raises his hand towards Yumi. Yumi's face turns haunted, as she knows what is to happen next.

Sebastian's eyes develop a white film, the same white film as when he used his telepathic powers to peer into Yumi's mind. Well that is only the beginning of Sebastian Simmons' power. Sebastian Simmons is not only a strong telepath, but also an even stronger telekinetic; and that can produce dangerous results to even the strongest of beings. Sebastian tightens his hand, and Yumi shrieks as she feels as though she is being crushed in someone's fist.

Gohan gets up from the ground and looks through the window and Yami looks on in complete and utter shock and disgust. He could not believe that someone would so that to another, let alone a women. But as Yumi's scream began to resonate through the warehouse, Yami's head began to throb; Yugi was trying to push his way back to control.

"Y-yugi...stop this!" Yami whisper-yells to no one in particular as he grabs the sides of his head.

"Yami, are you alright?" Gohan asks, looking to the ancient spirit with a concerned look.

"YUMI!!" Harley and Yuma scream as they jump from their spots on the banister in the warehouse and begin to fly towards Sebastian, ready to pound the shit out of him. But then they stop mid-flight and let out terrible shrieks of their own; they have been caught in Sebastian's mental grasp as well.

Yami's head began to throb even more as Yugi tries to force his way back into control of his body. "YAMI!! LET ME OUT!!" Yugi exclaims pushing his way back out of the puzzle.

"Yami! What's happening?" Gohan exclaims, taking ahold of Yami's shoulder's.

Yami looks up at Gohan through his bangs, a painful look etched on his face, "I-it's Yugi. He's trying to force control." Yami begins to shake as he tries to hold back the raging teen from taking control and making the situation worse, "Yugi! Listen to me! You need to calm down! You rushing in there will not make this situation any better!" Yami pleas through the mind link shared between Yugi and himself.

Gohan looks through the windows of the warehouse as a low growl escapes his lips, "I don't understand how you are so calm right now." He says in a low voice.

Yami laughs a bit to himself through the pain, "Keeping calm it apparently my specialty."

Then everything seems to happen in slow motion for the next few moments. The glass above Yami and Gohan shatters. The two let out a low yelp as they feel and invisible hands grab them around their middles and pull them through the now glassless window. Yami and Gohan now join the three girls, dangling in the air and helpless against Sebastian mental powers.

"Well, this is certainly a...pleasant surprise." Sebastian says, looking towards Yami and Gohan, "However I was expecting Yugi, not his counterpart." Yami feels all the color drain from his face as he looks towards Sebastian, He knows...but how?, Yami thinks. "An easy answer to your question Yami; Yugi and yourself look very much alike, but I can tell which is which."

Yami looks to Sebastian with a dumbfounded look, "D-did you just...read my mind?" he asks a bit worried.

Sebastian smirks as he closes his eyes. The crushing pressure around Yami, Gohan, Yuma, Yumi, and Harley's midsections dissipates and the five fall to the floor with a thud. Yumi lifts herself from the floor, just enough to look in front of her, "Yami!? Gohan!? What the hell are you doing here!?" but then her arms give out and she flops back down onto the floor.

Sebastian walks over to Yami and kneels down in front of him, "It is not your mind I read, but Yugi's." Sebastian's eye travel down to the Millennium Puzzle, which begins to glow a bit, and Yami's face twists in pain, "And I have a feeling your little friend wants to come out and play."

~Yumi's P.O.V.~

I feel this wave of fear begin to wash over me. Sebastian is up to something, and I know it. I need to stop him, but I feel as though my energy has been drained. I try and push my self up again, enough so that I can at least see what is going on. I push myself onto my left elbow and I have my right hand on the ground with that elbow to the ceiling. I pick up my head, and I see Sebastian kneeling in front of Yami with his hand on Yami's forehead.

I feel anger begin to drown out the fear, "Sebastian! Stop this!" I try and exclaim with a strong voice, but it cracks at the end.

I can see Sebastian's eyes develop that white film and faint white glow envelopes Yami. Yami looks to Sebastian with a look of confusion. Then Yami's eyes grow wide and the Millennium Puzzle begins to glow a bright golden color. A circle of hieroglyphics forms on the ground around Yami and from that circle; a pillar of blue light forms surrounding Yami's body and part of Sebastian's arm. Sebastian is stumbles back as the pillar shocks his arm with an incredible force. Sebastian hits the ground with a thud and everyone stares at the blue pillar of light in awe. Then the pillar disappears; and Yugi now sits on the ground in Yami's place.

But he appears pale and sick looking. Yugi stares at the ground in complete shock and then looks up to Sebastian, "You-you forced the switch!?"

Sebastian looks down at Yugi with a look that I can only describe as diabolical, "That's not all I can do." Sebastian stuck his hand out towards Yugi, and Yugi's face twisted in pain as he grabs his head, he's hurting Yugi! I could feel the rage inside growing stronger and stronger. But then Sebastian released Yugi from his mental hold, and Yugi relaxes as a look of relief washes over his face. Sebastian turns to his crowd of astonished onlookers.

"An now to inform you all of why I called you here this evening," He begins as a wild grin forms on his face, "As you all know, we have been searching for years for the perfect power source to charge our Regenerator. Regrettably, the Regenerator was built in a way that it can only be charged with living spirit energy. So I thank you all for your hard work over the past year and a half for tracking down the..." Sebastian looks over to me, flashing an evil grin, "...perfect power source."

"What?!" I exclaim, the realization hitting me like an oncoming train, "THAT'S WHY YOU HUNTED ME DOWN FOR A YEAR!! SO I COULD BE THE LIVING POWER SOURCE!!!" I felt my energy level rise at an exponential rate. Lightning begins to crack all around my body. The glass in the widows, that were originally not broken, all shatter into tiny pieces and rain down on people as they attempt to cover themselves from the falling glass.

"Exactly my dear." Sebastian begins, nodding over towards the three fighters; Blue, Silver, and Violet. The three all walk over to were Gohan, Yuma, Harley, and Gohan lay. Blue grabs Gohan, Silver grabs Yuma's tail and holds Harley, and Violet grabs Yugi, " Now stand!"

Slowly, I push myself to all fours; trying not to stumble as my now weak limbs shake from the experience of almost being crushed. I get to all fours, and then slowly bring myself into an upright position. I look up to Sebastian when I am standing, "There is now way I will power the Regenerator." I begin with a dark tone, "That thing will bring nothing but suffering upon the earth...I WILL NEVER BE APRAT OF ANYTHING THAT BRINGS SUFFERING UPON ANYONE-"

Sebastian stuck out his hand and my body went numb, but he kept me standing and it surprisingly did not hurt, "Sorry love, just a precaution." Two more of Sebastian's society members come out of the crowd; one a guy of about 19 and the other a girl of about 16. The guy comes around behind me and takes a hold of my tail; I cringe a little because I hate people getting anywhere near my tail. But then I feel the brace, which had been put on my tail when I first got here, fall off and clink on the ground. Sebastian kept his mental hold on me, but turned around to the crowd behind him, "Everyone, go to the banisters and stay there."

The crowd follows his orders, and one by one they climb the ladders to get to the banister that hangs a good twenty feet above the warehouse. But I can't help but be absolutely confused as to what is happening. Why would he tell them all to go to the banister? What does that accomplish? Then the 'colorful' fighting trio take Gohan, Yuma, and Harley over to a cell in the corner. Gohan struggles against Blue even in his weakened state.

It may not seem like it, but Sebastian's mental hold on a person, human or otherwise, normally drains their strength up to 80%. And now that Gohan has been on the receiving end of Sebastian's mental attacks, he won't be much help for getting out until he rests for a while. Yuma and Harley won't be of much help either. With those braces on both their tails, they're strength is well within the normal range of a human's.

Blue takes the key and locks the door. He says something to the three inside and then turns away from the cage; he comes towards Sebastian with Silver and Violet trailing close behind. The blond haired, former general, whispers in Sebastian's ear; Sebastian nods in response. Blue disappears from Sebastian's side and reappears behind me. I turn to elbow him, but he grabs my elbow and my waist. "You're a feisty one aren't you?" He says.

I struggle against his grip, but even without the brace on my tail, I'm still weak, "Let go of me!" I yell, thrashing around in Blue's grasp. I feel my energy level fluctuate as my situation grows more desperate, "What's the meaning of this Sebastian!?" My jaw drops when I turn to him, WHEN DID HE DO THAT!?

Sebastian had tied up Yugi's hands together by his wrists and hung him on a crane. He awake and alert, but very freaked out. I can see that Yugi is struggling to get his hands free from the rope. Sebastian turns to me from Yugi, giving me a wild smirk, "You have two choices my dear Yumi," He starts, "Agree to charge the Regenerator...or..."

"Or what!?" I exclaim, now getting fed up of this whole situation.

"Or watch helplessly as your friend's spirit energy is drained and used to charge the Regenerator." Sebastian says looking up to Yugi as he dangles from the crane by his bound wrists, "Starting with you, Yugi Muto." Then the look on Yugi's face is something I will never forget. On the surface, it looks as though he is pleading to be saved, but I can see underneath that he is telling me that everything will be alright.

And I believe him.

Yumi: 😓 Yuma, she had school...

Harley: And she started swimming at like, 5 in the morning.

SR: 6 actually, but I was sleeping in the afternoons.

Yumi: But you better write the next chapter soon, 😤 I swear if Sebastian hurts Yugi i'll- *Harley and S.R. grab Yumi before she blows everything up*

Harely: *looks worriedly at Yumi* Before she goes and blows everything up, I think I'll finish up here. *turns back to readers* Vote, Comment, Rate, and tell your friends!!😁
