As soon as the sun was up, the group of delinquents are back at the river. Finn was rigging a rope to swing across the river with. Beth was hesitant, but it also seemed fun to her. Beth stood next to the Collins boy as he prepped himself to go across the river. Beth had volunteered him to go first since it was his idea to make the rope 'swing', though he was wanting to go first so it wasn't much of a fight with him, or so they all thought.

"Come on, Finn. Let's go, dude." Beth says to the boy, who just turned to her and gave her a look. Beth recognized it as the look he normally gave her and Raven when they were annoying the hell out of him. She laughs lightly and looks away. Looking toward the water. She wished they could just try and swim across, but that damn thing is still in the water, and Beth did not want to get bit again by it.

"Finn, you wanted to go first. Stop stalling." The blonde says from a few feet behind the two. Beth smirks, looking at Finn, who rolls his eyes.

Jasper walks up to Finn as Beth steps back, standing next to Clarke. The Jordan boy whispers something to Finn before grabbing the rope. Beth smiles widely. "I knew there was a baadass in there somewhere." Finn says to Jasper, patting him on the back and stepping back towards Beth and Clarke.

"Yeah, Jasper!" Beth cheers for him, and he looks back and smiles at her, her returning the smile. "You got this!"

He smiles once more as he faces the water, grabbing onto the rope and running before swinging across the river. Landing onto the ground on the other side. After a minute, he gets up and cheers. "We are Apogee!" He yells, causing the others to cheer.

"Whoo!" Beth yells then grabs onto the rope, wanting to be the one to go next.

Finn walks up, grabbing it from her. "You sure, B?" He asks her, slightly concerned.

Beth nods, smiling. "Hell yeah, Finny. Hold this, and do not go through it. Promise?" She asks, and he nods. The Collins boy would never go through his best friends stuff. Unless it was her old journal she had, that he used to snoop through. She grabs the rope back from Finn and smirks at him before running and swinging across, screaming as she did so. She lands on the ground about two feet from Jasper, who helps her stand up. "Holy shit, that was so fun!" She exclaims as the others were cheering across the river.

"Hey, we made it!" Jasper exclaims as he holds up a sign that says Mount Weather.

"Yes, Jasp! Nice!" Beth cheers right as a something flies right past Beth's head and launches itself into Jasper's chest. Beth's eyes widen as she sees a spear. "Oh my god." She mutters before leaning down to him, checking on him. He was still breathing, but barely.

"Beth,  run!" Finn yells right as she stands up, another spear is launched, hitting her right in the stomach. Beth gasps queitly as she looks down at the stomach. She falls to the ground as Finn tries to grab onto the rope to go save her and Jasper, but Clarke grabs him, pulling him away.

Octavia has tears in her eyes as she looks at Beth lying there. They may have only just met, but the two could already tell they'd be great friends. She was worried for Beth and scared.

"We're not alone." Clarke says as she and the group hide from whoever is launching the spears.

The group is running back to the camp, needing to let the others know what had happened. Monty was helping Octavia run ahead of Clarke and Finn as Monty trips over something, looking around, slightly horrified. Octavia goes to help him up, seeing what he saw. A pile of bones surrounded them. Clarke and Finn rush over and Clarke picks up a skull like thing.

"Who was that?" Monty mutters, looking at the skull in Clarke's hand.

Clarke shows the group the skull better, "More like what was this?"

A loud piecing scream cuts the group from their thoughts. Clarke drops the skull, "Jasper, he's alive!" Clarke exclaims, knowing the scream had to have come from Jasper, as it didn't sound like Beth at all. Clarke takes off running.

She reaches the rivers edge, about to leave the tree line when Finn yells at her to stay out of the trees. Clarke ignores him, moving forward and leaning down slightly so she wasn't speared next. She looks to where Jasper and Beth had laid before, seeing two empty spots, only pools of blood where they laid minutes before.

"They took them." Clarke mutters to Finn, who now stood beside her looking across the lake. Finn's eyes widen, not knowing what to do about his best friend being kidnapped along with a boy they just met today.

A few men walk over to where Beth and Jasper lay. They were dressed completely different from the two teens and wore fur jackets around them. The two men look at the teens as one spoke up.

"Ge em." He says in a different language. (Get him)

The second looks at Beth before looking back to his friend. "Chit do osir do kom disha gada." (What do we do with this girl?)

"Teik her kom osir." The first one says to him, rolling his eyes as if it were obvious. The man grabs Beth in his arms and holds her carefully, not to hurt her even more, but she made no movements or noise when he grabbed her. He wasn't worried as he could still feel her breathing slightly. (Take her with us)

The first man drags Jasper a few feet before picking him up. Jasper, who has a totally different reaction to being moved, he screams loudly. The man was sure his scream would wake the girl, but it did not.

The two men had moved the teens to a different area. The two men were working on Jasper's wounds as Beth laid on a soft rug on the ground as another man, not one from earlier, was sitting next to her on the ground. He was dressed like the other men. He was one of them. He grabbed a small container of a weird gel substance. He grabbed some with his fingers and put it gently on the stitched up hole Beth had in her stomach. "Kom hela yu." He was surprised she hadn't died from the spear as it went straight through her stomach. He finished with her stomach and moved her slightly to her side and lifted up her shirt again slightly, now putting the medicine in her back wound from the spear.

He put her shirt back down, making sure it covered her completely before tending to her leg wound from the monster in the lake. He knew exactly what had done this to her. It's why they weren't aloud in that lake, as well as the other dangers around.

After he finishes tending to her wounds, he moves away as the other two grounders grab her and place her next to Jasper, in a tree, and tie her up.

The man who tended her wounds sighs slightly before looking back once more at the redhead before walking back into the woods, the memory of the redhaired girl never leaving him once.

Clarke, Bellamy, Finn, Wells, and Murphy walked through the woods, looking from Beth and Jasper. "How do we know we're going the right way?" Murphy asks the group.

Bellamy looks over to him. "We don't. Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker."

Wells rolls his eyes. "It's called cutting-sign. Fourth-year Earth Skills." Wells informs the two. "He's good."

Finn looks back at the three, annoyed, "You wanna keep it down or shou;d I just paint a target in your backs?" Finn asks, glaring. He wanted, needed, to find Beth, preferably alive.

A distant moan causes them all to stop, looking around. "What the hell was that?" Murphy asks them. Bellamy shrugs as another moan is heard. They all start walking quiicker to find them.

"Beth. Jasper!" Clarke exclaims as she sees them, hanging in the tree they were left in earlier by the three men.

"Clarke, be careful!" Finn warns her.

As she is about to take another step forward, the ground caves out from underneath her, and she falls. But just as she's about to fall to her death, a hand grabs hers. Bellamy's.

She looks up at him in slight relief but scared as well. He was contemplating on whether or not to let her fall. He knew he couldn't, though. The others start yelling at him to help her up and rush to help. Clarke gets out of the hole, her heart racing as she looks down to see the hole filled with spears sticking up as they awaited her fall. But she hadn't, Bellamy had saved her.

Finn helps her up, asking if she's okay. She nods and says, "Yes, we need to get them down!" She says,  looking back at the two tied to the tree.

Beth's hearing is the first to come back, as she hears the faint voices of the others trying to get to them.

Clarke looks up at the two as she notices the medicine, though she didn't notice the spear went straight through Beth, not yet at least.

A low growl is heard behind Clarke, Bellamy,  and Wells. They turn to the bush as Finn and Murphy look at the two, then the bush. They were trying to cut Jasper down first.

"What the hell was that?" Murphy asks, slightly annoyed that this wasn't just an easy search and rescue mission.

"Grounders?" Bellamy suggests.

Suddenly, a black object runs out from the bushes, a black panther. "Bellamy, your gun!" Clarke yells to him, and he goes to grab it but realizes it's missing.

Gunshots rang through the air, causing the animal to run away, back into the bushes. The group looks at Wells, shocked. But just as that happens, the panther growls again and goes after Bellamy, but right before it could sink it's teeth into him, a knife is lodged into the panthers neck, making it fall off of Bellamy, dead.

The group looks towards the tree, seeing Beth's right arm now out of the ropes. She looks down at the group, sweat beating on her forehead. "Don't say I never did anything for you." She says to Bellamy, a small smirk on her face. "Now, this hurts like hell. Get me down." She basically demands, and Finn and Bellamy rush to untie her as Wells, Clarke, and Murphy untie Jasper.

Finn grabs Beth in his arms, carrying her. He felt blood on her back. "It went straight through." She mutters to him, her head resting against his chest. Finn nods, carefully carrying her, trying not to hurt her. Wells and Clarke help Jasper as Bellamy and Murphy grab the panther to take back to camp.

Beth slips back into unconsciousness as soon as they begin their walk back.
