The Knight stood proud, his sword in hand as he stared down his opponent. There was no talking required, all negotiations failed when they attacked his castle and in order to spare all soldiers the fighting the Generals of the armies decided to hold a duel to see who will have won. They both said an oath to swear to take in the others soldiers and treat them as their own should they win.

"..." The only sound that could be heard was the blowing of the wind as the opponents drew their swords. Soon enough the Lord of the castle charged towards the attacker's General and attacked with an overhead swing. The general easily blocked the incoming attack only to dash forward and tackle the Lord, knocking him to the ground and lining up a stab. While the general was lining up his stab the Lord was quick to grab his dagger and smash it into the leg of his opponent and kicking him away before unleashing a flurry of attacks. While most of the attacks were blocked by the generals shield some got through. The wounds weren't big but they still hurt and although the general was at a disadvantage he kept blocking the others attacks, letting him tire himself out before he strikes and finishes it. Or so he thought, the Lord's broadsword was heavy and dealt powerful hits. Soon enough the shield couldn't take it anymore and broke against the mighty swings of the Lord who kept attacking. The general tried to fight back and soon found himself with his back to the wall and a sword through his chest as he fell on his knees. The Lord pulled his sword upwards, slicing through the general's shoulder and after he got the sword out made a turn to swing and take off his opponent's head.

The battle was over with the attacking army surrendering and being taken in by the defenders although it wouldn't be their last battle.

How was that? It's the first time I wrote something like this so please tell me how I did so I can better myself ^^.
