SPACEWALKER.

Flashbacks all of Finn, Beth and Raven.

Beth's POV

I was outside watching as Clarke walked back.

"Hold your fire! She's back!" I yell to them. 

"Open the gate." Bellamy yells. 

"Power up the gates. Roll-out positions." Byrne says. "Stay ready!" She says. Clarke walks in and Finn and I rush to her.

"You ok?" Finn asks the blond. 

"Shut the gate." Clarke says. She turns to Finn. "You can't be out here." She says to him. I look at her confused.

"What did she say?" I ask Clarke.  

"Is there a chance for a truce?" Abby asks her daughter. 

"Yes." Clarke answers. 

"What's wrong?" Finn asks her.  

"They want you." Clarke tells him.

"No." I say quickly. I will not let my best friend die. 

"If we want a truce, we have to give them Finn." She tells us. 

"What the hell are you talking about?" Raven asks, pissed.  

"That's their offer." Clarke says. I shake my head. 

"That's not an offer." Both of us say. Raven and I share a look. Finn's our family, I'm not giving him up. 

"It's punishment." Finn says. I shake my head. "For what happened at the village." He tells us. "Blood for blood." He says.

"That's insane." Bellamy says. 

"If we refuse?" Abby asks Clarke. I sigh.  

"They attack." She says. 

"Say we give him up!" Some man says. I glare at him. 

"Get rid of him." Another says. 

"Easy, people." Byrne says. 

"Give him to the Grounders." The same man I glared at says.

"Back off!" Raven and I both yell. 

"Hey, Raven, Beth. Raven. Raven, Beth, listen to me." I look at her. "Nothing is gonna happen to him." She tells us. "I promise, ok?" I nod at her. 

"I'm not dying for him." Griff yells. "Spacewalker burned 3 months of oxygen from the Ark. He should've floated a long time ago."

"How about I float you?!" I yell, asking him.

"Throw him out!" He yells back. I go to go towards him but Clarke grabs my arm.

"Calm down." She says to me.

"Back off!" Raven yells, going up to the guy. 

"Stop, Raven!" Byrne yells. She grabs Raven but Raven moves and elbows her, causing more guards to grab her. I go to move but Finn grabs my other arm. 

"Let me go." Raven yells. 

"It's the only option." I glare at the woman who said that.

There was shouting as they bring Raven inside.

FLASHBACK

Beth walks down the hall with her best friend Finn.

"They floated her." Beth says.

"I'm sorry B." Finn says.

"It wasn't even her fault. She didn't do anything. Stupid guard." Beth mutters.

"It sucks. I know. But you gotta be careful, Beth." Finn tells her. They go into Finn's house.

"Why? Not like my dad would let them float me." Beth says. "They made him hit the button. I don't know why Jaha would do that." She says.

"Cause he's an ass." Finn replies causing Beth to laugh, the door opens again, revealing Raven.

"Rave!" Beth says.

"Hey." Raven says.

"So, unity day masquerade is tonight. You guys going?" Beth asks her two best friends.

"Probably just gonna hang out here." Finn says. "You can hang out with us."

"And be a third wheel, no thanks." Beth replies.

"You won't be a third wheel." Raven says. Beth rolls her eyes.

"Like hell I won't. Last time we hung out, you guys practically almost had sex with me in the room. I had to yell at you guys to stop." Beth tells them. Raven looks away. "Plus, it'll give us a reason to drink. Without getting in trouble." Beth says with a smirk. Her two friends look at her.

Beth's POV

"He's not back yet." I say to Lincoln.

"He should be fine. You've told me a lot about him. He'll be fine." He says. I smile at him and lean up and kiss him, he kisses me back.

Someone clears there throat. I turn and see Clarke and Octavia. I look at Lincoln and smile a little before looking back at my two friends. "What's up?" I ask Clarke.

"He's not a reaper anymore, he doesn't need restraints." Clarke says. She looks at me.

"Don't look at me like that. I don't want them on him either. He wants them." I say to her. She looks at Lincoln, who nods.

"Just tell us. Is there a way to make peace." Clarke says to Lincoln. I sigh. He already told me how, and I'm not letting it happen.

"Did she leave riders behind?" He asks her.

"Two, just outside the gate." I say to him.

"They're waiting for Finn." Lincoln says, I sigh. "You don't have much time to decide." Lincoln tells Clarke.

"She can't just expect us to hand over one of our own people." Octavia says.

"She is." I say.

"She wouldn't let the rest of her people die to protect a murderer." Lincoln says. "If you don't do this, she will kill everyone in this camp." Lincoln adds.

"There has to be something else we can offer." Clarke says. I shake my head slightly, knowing Lexa won't do it.

"Finn took 18 lives. The commander offering to take one in return." Lincoln responds. "Take the deal." Lincoln says. I run a hand through my hair.

"How could you say that?" Clarke asks him. Octavia and I share a look. "Finn was the first person to come to you to offer peace. He's your friend." She says to him. She looks at me. "Beth, do you really agree with this?" That really pissed me off.

I stand up. "Of course not!" I yell. "Finn is my best friend, he's brother but I can't stop this. Clarke. I don't know how to. So don't ask me if I really agree with giving up my brother for a this. Because you know damn well I do not!" I yell at her. I take a deep breath and sit back down, putting my head in my hands.

Lincoln starts talking. "He massacred my village." Lincoln says. "Some of the dead were my friends too." He says. I take a deep breath.

"But that wasn't Finn." Clarke tells him. "You know that's not who he is." Clarke says.

"It is now." Lincoln replies. "We've all got monsters inside us, Clarke." He says. "And we're all responsible for what is does when we let it out." He tells her. In a way he's right. We all have monsters.

"What are they gonna do to him?" I ask realizing, it's not gonna be quick. Not for 18 deaths.

"Fire." He replies. "Fire because he killed the innocent. It starts with fire."

I look at him confused. "St- starts?" I ask. He nods, not looking at me.

"They'll take his hands, his tongue, his eyes." He says. "And anyone who grieves will have a turn with the knife." He says. "At sunrise, the commander will end it with her sword. But I've never known anyone to make it to the sword." Lincoln tells us.

"Since he killed 18, he'll feel the pain of 18 deaths, won't he?" I ask Lincoln. He looks at me.

"Yes." Lincoln replies. I sigh and look at Clarke and Octavia with a worried look. "Then we can have peace."

FLASHBACK

Beth, Raven and Finn were all wearing masks and dancing. "See I told you we'd get free alcohol." Beth says to her two friends.

"Thank gosh." Raven says, drinking her whole cup.

Beth laughs. "Come on Finn, look happy." She says to him.

"I am happy." He says.

"Well then act like it." Raven says. He smiles at the two girls before dancing with them again.

"Three musketeers. It's how it always should be." Beth says. Her two friends nod, agreeing before the three start dancing again.

Beth's POV

I walk outside, seeing Abby by the fence, talking to someone. I walk closer hearing a familiar voice I haven't heard in what feels a long time.

"It's good to see this place again." The voice says. I stop in my spot. "Where's Beth?" They asks. I feel tears well in my eyes.

"Dad?" I ask. Abby moves, turning to me causing the person, my dad, to as well.

"Beth." He says. I run up and hug him, tears falling out of my eyes. He hugs me tightly. "Oh god. You're okay." He says.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay." I say. We pull out of the hug. "I was beginning to think the commander wasn't gonna let you go." I say.

He gives me a small smile. "I'm okay." He looks at Abby. "But we don't have much time." I give him a confused look. "I managed to buy us a bit more time." He says.

The guards close the gates. Dad looks at me. "I'll talk to you later." He says. I nod.

I waited outside the room with Bellamy, it was a half hour before anyone came out. It was Abby.

"You were in there a long time." I say to her.

"There was a lot to discuss." She replies.

"What's going on?" I ask her.

"There was a lot to talk about." She repeats. I glare at her.

She goes to leave but Bellamy steps in front of her. "Hey, we're not turning him into the grounders." He tells her.

"Step aside now." She says. "We're all trying to find a way out of this." She says then leaves. I look at Bellamy.

"They're gonna give him up." I say. "We have to find Finn and Clarke." I add. He nods and we go.

I see Raven. I rush up to her. "Hey, I need you to cut the power in the fence. It's Finn." I say. She nods. She goes to leave. I grab her arm. "He's gonna be okay, right?" I ask. She gives me a nod. I sigh and shake my head. "Okay, I'm gonna go with you, Bellamy is gonna get Finn and Clarke."

"Okay." She says. We go and she cuts the power.

We leave out the gate. We start walking through the woods. It was quiet. Until Raven decided to speak.

"What if they do somehow get him? What if we lose Finn?" She asks me. I turn to her, stopping.

"I- I don't know. I never thought that- that anything like this would happen." I say. "I never- I don't know what's gonna happen." I say.

"I just- he's our family." She says. I nod and hug her, she hugs me back, tightly.

We continue our walk to the dropship. We quickly go inside. Bellamy was there by himself.

"Are they here yet?" I ask him.

"No." He replies.

"I'll check outside." Raven says. I nod and she goes out side.

"They need to get their asses here now." I say.

After a few minutes, Raven walks in. "No sign of them." I sigh.

"Where the hell are they?" I ask.

"We shouldn't have split up." She says. I here rustling from out side.

"Someone's coming." I say taking out my sword, raising it towards the curtain.

Murphy walks in and widens his eyes at our weapons pointing at him. "Woah, hey, hey, hey." He says. I sigh and put my sword away.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"I believe I was invited." He says and looks at Raven. I look at my best friend, giving her a confused look.

"I thought we could use an extra gun." She says shrugging. I nod. There's something about it, I don't believe but she's my best friend. I have to trust her.

After a while, Finn came in, holding an unconscious Clarke. "What the hell happened?" I ask when he lays her down.

"A grounder hit her on the head." Finn says and starts pacing.

"She'll be fine. Get me a rag, or cloth or something." I say quickly. Murphy hands it to me. "Thanks." I mutter. He nods and I press the cloth to Clarkes head.

Soon later, Clarke's eyes start fluttering open. I sigh, slightly in relief. "How's your head?" I ask the blond.

"Fine." She replies, groaning.

"When you went down, I thought you were dead." Finn says to her. I look at the two then go outside. Bellamy and Murphy were out there.

"How's your grounder?" Murphy asks me. I look at him.

"Lincoln's fine." I answer.

"He doesn't know you're here does he?" Bellamy asks me.

"Neither does my dad but right now I need to worry about Finn." I say. I look in the woods, seeing movement. "Grounders." I say. "We've got company." I yell walking inside with the two boys following. "We're surrounded." I tell them.

"They're not moving any closer. If we hit them now, at least we'd take them by surprise." Bellamy says. I shake my head.

"No." I say. "We don't know how many are actually out there." I add.

"I'm not hearing any better ideas." Bellamy says.

"We'll give them something." Raven says. I turn to her, giving her a confused look.

"All they want is Finn." Clarke tells her.

"Finn wasn't the only one in the village." Raven says.

"Raven-" She cuts me off.

"Not you Beth." She says looking at me. I give her a confused look. "Him." She says, turning to Murphy.

Murphy backed up slightly. "Raven, I came here to protect him. You were the one who wanted me to come. You.... That's why you wanted me to come." Murphy says realizing Raven's plan.

"Enough grounders saw him at the village." She says. "They'd believe he was the shooter." She says.

"Rave-" Murphy cuts me off.

"You sick bitch." He says to Raven.

"Raven you don't mean this." Clarke says, trying to reason with her.

"They want a murderer, We'll give them one." She says, cocking her gun and pointing it at Murphy. "Drop your gun."

"Raven." I say.

"Go to hell Raven." Murphy says to her.

"Rave, put the gun down." I say.

"Like it or not, he's one of us." Bellamy says to her.

"Put it down." Raven says, glaring at Murphy. Finn interrupts.

"Stop! Stop! We are not doing this. The only thing we can do is stay and defend this place." Finn says to us but I know he's mostly talking to Raven and Murphy.

"I'm with you." Clarke says.

He looks at me. "Always big brother." My response makes him smile.

"Murphy?" Finn asks.

"Yeah." He says looking at Finn.

"Go upstairs, watch the rear." Murphy nods and goes upstairs. "I'll take the lower level." He says. I give him a confused look that he ignores. "You four take the front gate." He says. "That's the plan. Alright?" He asks us. We nod.

I walk over to Finn. "What are you planning?" I ask him. He looks at me, not replying. "Finn." I say.

"Nothing," He says.

I give him a look. "I'll be fine." He tells me.

"Alright big brother." I say. He pulls me into a tight hug.

"Tell Lincoln I'm sorry," I nod at his request. "I love you little sister." He says.

"Love you too big brother. But you're gonna be fine. I'm not letting them get you." I say. He nods. I give him a small smile and walk outside. Leaving him with Raven.

I kneel down behind a bush, watching the front. Raven comes and kneels next to me.

We watch for a few minutes until I hear movement. "Someone's coming." I say.

I watch as Finn steps out, facing us but is outside. "No!" I yell. The grounder swoop in and grab him, leaving. "Damn it!" I yell. I had tears falling down my face when I look at Raven. I hug her tightly, as tears not only fall down my face, but her's. He's our family and now he's gone.

FLASHBACK

Beth walks down the hall with Raven. She was hiding something. Raven knew it. "Okay that's it, what's up?" She asks her strawberry blond best friend.

"I did something and I think my found out." Beth replies.

"What'd you do?" Raven asks.

"I stole some moonshine and a necklace from somewhere." Beth says.

"Beth, you gotta put it back before you get caught." Raven mutters.

"I know. I just, the necklace was my moms. When they took her stuff away, they took the necklace. I had to get it back." Beth says. Raven sighs, giving her a sad look. Raven looks ahead, seeing Shumway and three guards. The two girls stop.

"Beth Kane." Shumway says. Beth turns to Raven.

"Go to Finn." She says.

"I'm not leaving you." Raven says.

The guards come up with Shumway. "Beth Kane you are under arrest for theft." Shumway says, Beth nods and he hand cuffs her.

They start dragging her away, leaving Raven wide eyed, watching her best friend being dragged away. "Go to Finn!" Beth yells as the drag her away.

I get back to Camp Jaha and go straight to Lincoln's room. Where I find him, and my dad. "Shit." I say, making the two look at me.

"Where were you?" My dad asks, standing up.

"Protecting Finn." I answer. "Turns out. I can't." I say somewhat bitterly and throw my bag on the chair by the wall. "He gave himself up." I say.

"Beth-" My dad starts.

"Don't." I say. "Um, so you two met?" I ask, looking at Lincoln.

They both nod. "Wonderful. Good." I say.

My dad soon leaves the room. I sit next to Lincoln on the bed, he wasn't restrained anymore.

"I tried. I did. I told it would be okay. I did- I just- he gave himself up." I say. He wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer.

"I'm sorry." He says.

"It's not your fault." I say. "He uh, he wanted me to tell you he was sorry. I guess for what happened at the village." He nods. I lay my head on his chest. We lay there for a little bit.

Clarke rushes in. "Sorry, Beth." I sit up, quickly.

"What's wrong?" I ask her.

"Something's going on outside the gates." She says. I give her a confused look.

"I'll be out there in a sec." I say she nods and goes outside. I look at Lincoln. "I'll be right back." He nods at me. I give him a quick kiss then run out side.

I go outside seeing a lot of grounders. "Holy shit." I mutter. I meet up with Raven, Clarke, Bellamy and Octavia.

"I'm going to talk to the commander." Clarke says.

"I'm going with you." I say. She goes to protest. "He's my brother, practically."

"Give me your hand." Raven says. She hands Clarke a knife. "If she won't let him, kill her." Raven says, causing my eyes to widen. "Things'll go crazy, we'll get you three out of there." Clarke slides the knife in her jacket. "Clarke you have to help him. He's mine and Beth's family." Raven and I share a sad look. I give her a hug.

"I'm gonna try and get him back." I say to her, she nods.

Clarke and I walk down to the grounders. Indra points a sword at Clarke.

I'm here to talk to your commander. Let us through." Clarke says. I look at her stomach, the point of the sword was pinching into her skin, making her bleed.

"Let them pass." Lexa commands as she walks out.

"You bleed for nothing." Lexa says when the two of us walk over. You cannot stop this."

"No. Only you can." Clarke says to her and I heard Grounders shouting, I look and see Finn being walked over to the poll like thing. He looks at me, wide eyed and confused.

"Show my people how powerful you are." I say to Lexa.

"Show them you can be merciful. Show them you're not a savage." Clarke finishes.

"We are what we are." Lexa says.

"Then I'm a killer. I burned 300 of your people. I slit a man's throat and watched him die. I'm soaked in Grounder blood. Take me." Clarke tells the commander.

"But Finn is guilty." She tells us.

No. He did it for me and Beth. He did it for us." Clarke says desperately. I don't think she's gonna let Finn live. I at least need to say goodbye.

"Then he dies for you both." Lexa says.

"Can we say good-bye?" I ask her, tears almost welling in my eyes. Lexa nods. I look at Clarke.

"Go first." She tells me, I give her a confused look but nod.

I walk over to my best friend- my brother. "Finny." I say to him, tears now welling up in my eyes.

"Beth, I'm scared." He says.

"I know. So am I. I- I can't lose you." I say to him. I hug him. He lays his head on my shoulder as he can't actually hug me due to his hands being tied.

"You're gonna be okay." He tells me.

"I love you big brother." I say to him, tears lightly falling down my face.

"I love you too little sister." He says to me then adds, "May we meet again." I nod.

"May we meet again." I say, scared about what could happen in the next few minutes.

I slowly back away from him and stand near Lexa and Indra. Clarke goes over to him. They share a few words. She hugs him. I see her whispering something to him. His head soon slumps on her shoulder.

Clarke slowly moves away from him and turns around. A bloody knife is in her hand. I look at Finn. "No!" I yell seeing my best friend- older brother dead. "No! NO! No!" I sob. I fall to my knees. "NOOO!" Tears falling down my face. Grounders yelling all around me.

"It is done." Lexa yells at the grounders. I was still sobbing looking at Finn.

I soon feel arms pick me up bridal style. I sob into the persons chest- who turns out to be my father. I left out a small muffled yell.

I hear a door soon open. "What happened?" I hear Lincoln ask. My dad sets me down. I look at Lincoln and shake my head.

"Clarke, she killed- she killed Finn." I cry. His face turns soft and he walks over to me and pulls me into a hug. I sob on his shoulder.

After a while of him holding me while I sobbed, I stop. I was looking at the wall in front of me. We were sitting on his bed. "Beth." He says. I look at Lincoln.

"I'm okay." I lie. He knows it.

"No you're not." He says.

"No. No I'm not. My best friend- my brother. He's gone." I say. He grabs my hand. "Beja do nou bants ai."

"Ai don nowe bants yo." He replies. He grabs my waist pulling me to him. I was sitting in between his legs. My side pressed up against his chest and my legs draped over his left.

"Thank you." I whisper.

"Always." He tells me.

I soon fall asleep laying my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
