SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.

No One's POV

Lincoln and Bellamy are walking through the woods before discovering an animal carcass. Lincoln cuts it and uses the blood to disguise himself and Bellamy as reapers.

"Ok so we make it to the intake door without any of the real reapers seeing us, what happens then?" Bellamy asks Lincoln.

"I kill everyone and you slip inside." Lincoln says then continues. "Limestone." Bellamy passes him a packet and he rubs the limestone on his face. "Let's go, we got a lot of ground to cover before dark."

"Hey, I need to know what happens beyond the intake door." Bellamy says.

"They remove your clothes, blast you with warm water and douse you with something that burns even worse. Then we were sorted, the other were tagged Harvest I was tagged Cerberus and turned into a reaper." Lincoln says.

"Cerberus, the three-headed dog who guards the underworld." Lincoln looks at him. "My mom read mythology to us all the time, Octavia loved it. You're good for Beth and a good friend for Octavia, you made them strong." Bellamy says.

"They were already strong." Lincoln says, thinking of Beth.

"Hey, I need to ask you something. You protected Beth before you even knew her, why?" Bellamy asks Lincoln. 

"When I was a boy, I saw a ship fall from the sky like Raven's. The man inside was hurt, his body broken, I couldn't get him out." Lincoln says.

"Suicide by Earth, I heard the stories in the Guard I just didn't know they were true." Bellamy says.

"I brought him food, water. I couldn't speak the enemies language yet so I couldn't understand him but I wanted to. So on the third day, I told my father. He made me kill him. The war's been trying to turn me into a monster for as long as I can remember." Lincoln says. "Let's keep moving."

"Wait, parking garage where we found you is north, that way." Bellamy says, pointing off in another direction.

"There's a mine entrance closer to where the reapers end. We go into the underworld when we have to, not before." Lincoln says. They continue to walk.

Beth's POV

I was standing next to Octavia while we watched the meeting begin. Both of us still in grounder clothes. My dad wasn't so happy about it but I didn't care. It's my life.

"Alright, quiet down. Indra, please." Kane says

"Don't worry my sharper tongue's got your back." A guard says.

"How about you stick it up your ass instead." I say to the guard.

"I know we don't have a lot in common. But we do have a common enemy and a common goal. And for us to reach it, to get our people out of Mount Weather we need to work together. Together. Skaikru and Trikru. Our survival depends you sharing your knowledge of this world..." My father says. I look at Murphy who was talking to Penn. 

"You got a problem." Murphy asks him.

"You stood there watching while my village was massacred." Penn says in grounder language.

Murphy: I'm sorry man, I don't speak grounder." Murphy says. Penn moves towards Murphy and Murphy shoves him back.

"Mr. Murphy, apologize to that man." My father says to him.

"For what? He was the one who came to me." Murphy says.

"Two days work detail." Dad says.

"Work detail? I just told you I didn't do it-" Dad cuts him off.

"Care to make it three?" He asks.

Penn: You could've burned just like your friend." Penn says. Murphy punches Penn in the face.

"Murphy! Murphy! Murphy, stop!" Dad yells. A full riot breaks out.

"Stop this!" Octavia and I yell.

No One's POV

Bellamy is looking at a map recognizing he has neared Mount Weather.

"The Mountain has many eyes, from now on we need specific details." Lincoln says.

"What if we run into real reapers won't they wonder where you've been?" Bellamy asks him.

"All they see is the red. Once you take it, nothing else matters just how you get more." Lincoln says to him.

"How much do you remember from when you were on it?" Bellamy asks Lincoln.

"Everything." Lincoln says, remembering it. Remembering Beth's scared face. He shakes away his thoughts and says. "Turn around." He rests a log on Bellamy's shoulders as if he is his prisoner.

Beth's POV

Grounders are doing hand to hand combat outside. dad is watching with Octavia and I.

"Impressive, aren't they? What doesn't kill them makes them stronger." Dad says.

"Good, Fio." Indra says to him. "Who's next?" Indra asks.

"I am. We're supposed to train together right?" Octavia says to Indra.

"Only warriors train here." Indra says.

"We saved your life." I say to her.

"And now I'm saving yours." She says to us. I roll my eyes. "Yu, attack!" She says.

Indra is watching her warriors fight while dad watches the Guards practice shooting.

"Easy. Control your breathing. Squeeze the trigger, don't pull it." Dad says to them.

"Sir, we've got an audience." A guard says. Dad looks behind him to see grounders watching.

"Hold your fire." Dad says. A guard hands Kane a gun. "Solid stance." He shoots, landing right on target. "Would you like to try?" He offers the gun to the grounders.

"I could teach you, your enemy has guns. So should you." Dad says to them. Penn goes to grab it, somewhat scared.

"Penn, chil yo daun! yu know better." Indra yells.

"It's alright, I offered." Dad says.

"We don't need your weapons. Back to training all of you!" Indra yells to the others.

"Guns could keep them alive. It's like they're afraid of them." Dad says.

"They are. Legend has it if a grounder picks a gun even to shoot another grounder, Mount Weather will wipe out their entire village." I say to him.

"Can't have your blood supply defending themselves right?" Octavia asks.

"They're unarmed. We can't win." Dad says.

"Like hell we can't." O and I both says. We look at each other. How do we always do that? I walk away.

No One's POV

Bellamy and Lincoln are making their way to the Mount Weather Mines.

"Come on, let's do this." Bellamy says to Lincoln.

No One's POV

"Em pleni! pleni! ai hope yu don saved some energy gon a homplei. Ai laik told our hosts don no dina." Indra yells.

"Time for two more?" Octavia asks, Beth nods.

"Step aside, Skygirls. We're hungry." Indra says.

"Make us." Beth says.

"Fio, Kai, give them what they want." Indra says.

Octavia prepares to attack Fio as Beth does the same with Kai.

"Sir." A guard says to Kane, gaining his attention to the two fights about to happen; his daughter being in one of them.

"It's alright. Let her go." Kane says, looking at his daughter, wanting to see what would happen.

"Let's do this." Beth says.

They begin fighting. Kai easily overcomes Beth knocking her down.

"Hey you gonna give up that easily?" Beth asks him.

"She wants more. Oblige her." Indra says.

They continue fighting and he knocks her down once more. Fio pushes Octavia down again.

"Indra, stop this." Kane says, watching his daughter and her friend get hurt.

"Finish em." Indra says.

Octavia gets knocked down once more and Fio turns to the other grounders as Octavia rises again ready to attack but he takes her down again. Kai throws Beth to the ground after she tries to attack him.

"Enough, even a fool knows when to surrender." Indra says.

Kane steps towards Beth and grabs her arm to pull her.

"I got you." He says to them.

He pulls Beth to her feet as Octavia gets help from the guard.

"I got you. What are you trying to prove?" Kane asks his daughter.

"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." Beth says to her father.

Beth's POV

Octavia and I are being treated in medical. Indra enters.

"What do you want?" Octavia asks her.

"You both fought like a child today. All aggression no thought, no defense. Always leaving yourselves open revealing your next move even before you strike." She says to us. I roll my eyes.

"Okay, I know, we got our asses kicked. That should make you happy." I say to her,

"It does. Because you both did not give up. Strength of spirit like that is rare. It must be guided. Do you know what a warriors second is?" She asks us.

"An apprentice." Octavia answers.

"I can make you a great warrior, Octavia of the Sky People. If you're willing to do what it takes to become my second." She says to Octavia then looks at me. "Lexa needs a second, I will talk to her. You will become a great warrior." She says to me.

"What's in it for you?" Octavia answers.

"First lesson, never question me." She gets up to leave.

"Ok. I'm in." Octavia answers.

"Good, we'll start tomorrow." Indra says.

"Me too." I say to her.

"Okay, I will talk to Lexa once she returns." Indra says and I nod.

No One's POV

Lincoln and Bellamy are in the Mount Weather Mines. Lincoln stops.

"Why are we stopping?" Bellamy asks him. Lincoln sees a vial of the red drug and crushes it. "You ok?" He asks Lincoln.

"As soon as they open the intake doors we attack. Once they close I'll make it look like you escaped." Lincoln says to him.

"Then what?" Bellamy asks.

"The raiding party." Lincoln answers.

"What are you doing?" Bellamy asks him confused.

"We have to go back it's the only way." Lincoln says.

"Go back! No way!" Bellamy says.

"We have to leave before we can fight our way through." Lincoln says to him.

"We'll never get a better chance than this." Bellamy says to Lincoln.

"I thought I could do this but I can't ok, it's over." Lincoln says to him. He was scared of what would happen. Of turning into that monster again. Of what would happen to Beth.

"No it's not! You can join them. Listen to me when they bring out the red you grab it and you run like hell. The reapers will go nuts, the grounders will run and the Mountain Men will have to deal with it. No one is looking for a grounder running into the mountain." Bellamy explain. Lincoln puts a sack over Bellamy's head.

"They'll think I'm trying to escape." Bellamy says. Lincoln goes to the reapers.

"Disha won tried kom wander off." Lincoln says.

"Em's mine. Put em ona the log." The reaper replies.

Beth's POV

Dad comes and sits next to Octavia and I.

"You did this." He says to us.

"You're welcome." I say to him.

"Don't blow it." Octavia says.

"The boar put up a better fight than you." Kai says to me, as him and Fio walk by. I scoff.

"I see your making friends." He says to me.

"What do you want from us, dad?" I ask him. 

"What do you think is going to happen once we get your friends back? For now, we have a common goal but one day this war is gonna end. What then?" He asks us.

"Just get to the point." Octavia says.

"We know so little about them, you've both earned their respect. I need you guys to be our eyes and ears." He says to us.

"You're asking us to spy?" I ask my father.

"I'm asking you both to look out for your people." He says to us. I look at Octavia.

"We are." Octavia says and gets up. We both go over and sit next to Indra.

No One's POV

In The Mount Weather Mines.

"Hos op, osir ge the red den osir eat." A reaper says. Lincoln then turns Bellamy in for another dose of the red.

"Harvest." Dr. Tsing says.

"Next." A guard says.

"Harvest." She repeats.

"Next." The guard repeats.

"Harvest." Dr. Tsing says.

Lincoln is injected with the red drug. His one thought on Beth.

Bellamy watches, not being able to do anything.

"Harvest them all." She says about them all.

I did do some of it where Lincoln and Bellamy are. Beth is on her way to becoming Lexa's 2nd. Bellamy and Lincoln are now at the mountain. What do you guys think? So please comment what you guys thought. Thanks for reading. Bye.
