Thank you.

I am honestly so lucky to have all of you wonderful people reading my work.

Truthfully, this story was hard work. Writing Rebecca's character and her character development has been really tough, but so worth it. I must admit that during the time period between season 5A ending and 5B beginning I was ready to give up on this story. I think I was kind of lost for what to do because of the way things were going with Liam and Hayden on the tv show. But then I realised that giving Rebecca some independence was not such a bad thing and I'm so happy with the place she's at now.

Another thing that motivated me to keep writing was the relationship between Brett and Becca, which I have  absolutely adored writing. Seeing how much you guys loved the two of them together was actually a huge part in influencing a decision to build up a proper relationship between them too. Before, it had been full of hatred and tension but actually, Rebecca's newfound friendship with Brett became such an important turning point for her. It's also something I can't wait to explore more in the next book.

That's right, the next book.

It's true that teen wolf has lost its spark for me. I'm definitely not as passionate about it as I used to be and I don't think I'm ever going to get that love I first felt for it back again. However, Liam and Rebecca's relationship is still something I have a passion for writing. I absolutely love Rebecca and although it would have been easier to end her story here, I feel like I can do her more justice by continuing. I've got her powers to explore and use, I've got new relationships to develop. But most of all, Liam and Rebecca's story has a lot further to go.

A couple of you have asked whether the love interest is going to still be Liam or Brett and, without giving too much away, I'm going to say that it's still going to be Liam. Saying that though does not dismiss the fact that there could potentially be a romantic route for Brett and Becca too - for all you brecca shippers out there. But it is still primarily going to be about Rebecca and Liam.

I have no idea when teen wolf comes back but once it does I'm going to start planning and writing the third book.

So, thankfully, this isn't a goodbye. It's just a thank you for reading both Fearless and Battle Scars. It's a thank you for appreciating all the time, effort and hard work I put into my writing. It's a thank you for loving Becca McCall as much as I do.

You're all amazing and I can't wait to get writing book three.
