Reason of Leave

I, Commander Kevin Lee of the Azur Lane, chosen to resign my position as the Commander of the Azur Lane. Due to the hostile environment of both other Commanders and shipgirls. Fearing the risk of being betrayed, I'm signing this for the sake of my life. 'As also incompetent I am'. I will here by, leave the Azur Lane and 'return to the civilian lifestyle'. Though I lied about my high incompetency and returning to the civilian lifestyle, It's better than nothing...

Jintsuu: That's gonna work!?

Kevin: Not much, but it will deter them for a moment. Buying us enough time, plus, I'm no longer a Commander of the Azur Lane anymore.

Phoenix: Coward...

Kevin: You wanna live?

Phoenix: Er... Yes?

Kevin: Then this is the only way.

FEW MINUTES LATER...

I packed up everything and prepare to leave, once and for all. I even took Takao's katana and my weapons. It was a relief to finally leave this place. It was now or never. I turned off the lights in the office, put my paper in the notice board and headed to the shores.

Jintsuu: Kevin?

Kevin: What is it, Jintsuu? And Phoenix?

Jintsuu: Are you leaving the Azur Lane?

Kevin: Yes. I don't have a reason to be here anymore. I will report to my council and we may or may not come here and sweep the place.

Phoenix: We're coming with you.

Kevin: You sure?

Jintsuu: I wouldn't want to stay here by myself with the thought of being murdered by the yanderes still on this place. I heard that I was going to be dismantled, even Enterprise.

Kevin: She might have been evacuated back to her country. Don't worry.

Phoenix: I hope so... She's a strong one.

Kevin: She is. *radio* It's the Warp ready? We got two more passengers.

Phoenix Chief Engineer: Yes, Commander. On standby.

???: Commander?

I then heard a voice far from the distance. I looked behind both Jintsuu and Phoenix, it appears to be Atago.

Kevin: What?

Atago: Are you leaving me behind?

Kevin: I'm resigning. I'm not longer your Commander.

She was shocked, when the moment that she heard that I was resigning.

Atago: Commander... Please, I'm going to be all alone without you...

Kevin: It's over, You threaten Takao, nearly suffocated me, and you even threaten me to stay with you. Even other Commanders are staring daggers at me. I wrote that paper for a reason.

Atago: But...

Jintsuu: Atago, it's over. The Azur Lane is falling apart.

Atago: Please... Commander...

I gave my luggage to both Phoenix and Jintsuu and hold their hands tight.

Kevin: Goodbye Atago... *Comms* Warp us now!

Phoenix Chief Engineer: Warping!

I was teleported back to my Headquarter, The New Phoenix Project's HQ.

Atago: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! COMMANDER!!!

New Phoenix Project HQ, Australia, Under Mount Kosciuszko, Warp Room.

I landed successfully while both Phoenix and Jintsuu fell down.

Phoenix: Ouch!

Jintsuu: Ugh... my head kinda hurts... this is your world?

Kevin: Yeah. Looks like It's my HQ.

Phoenix: Wait... YOUR HEADQUARTERS!?

Phoenix Officer: He'll explain it to you two later. And welcome back, Commander.

Kevin: Same here. I suppose the portal did work.

Phoenix Chief Engineer: I suppose there's still errors with our first portal, but with time and repairs, we might have a chance, Commander.

Kevin: Very well, I'll accept the project.

Phoenix Chief Engineer: Thank you, Commander. Me and both the Research and Engineering teams will do our best.

After both of them leaves... Phoenix came up close to me and...

Phoenix: You better tell me, why are you the Commander of this Military and no longer being the Azur Lane Commander!?

Kevin: Fine! Fine... It will be a long one...

Jintsuu: Please ask.

Everyone quickly agrees with some opposed. Many factions arose in my world. Humanity First, plans to kill anyone who are the pro-attackers. Coalition Alliance, have a same mission with my New Phoenix Project. United Protectorate, willing to support the attackers while fighting against the Honkais. Honkai Servants, believing that the Honkais are their Gods and Angels, CNSO will to form an alliance to the Attackers, our long time enemy of my New Phoenix Project, Nakatomi Initiative, making profit under the panic of the public, Project Exodus a very unpopular faction who's willing to escape their planet by a rocket to another planet, and the Celestial Empire, armed with tech and the third faction in China. At war with the Coalition versus the Allegiance and at odds of losing against the attackers, the Coalition were losing to the Allegiance, Everyone in our world knew, without the Phoenix Project, humanity will fall. That is the reason why we rised from the ashes. After six months of war against them, we have won the war. The reason you don't the SIRENs anymore is they are now living with humanity... peacefully in my world...

Both Phoenix and Jintsuu was shocked and confused after hearing all of it.

Kevin: Now, enough with the story time. And have a tour around the place.

We all head to the Lobby, meeting with some of my old comrades and three of my friends.

Asra: Whoa... I think we might have some extra manpower.

They all turned to look at me and then Jintsuu and Phoenix.

Ezra: Oh.

Darriel: *whistle* Looks like it's my lucky day.~

Both Richard and Michael looked at Darriel.

Darriel: What?

Richard: They are armed, Darriel. Do that and you'll be blown to pieces.

Michael: Well then, kid. Can you tell us, who they are?

Kevin: Well then. The one on my left is Jintsuu, of the Sakura Empire and the one on my right is Phoenix, Eagle Union. They're from the Azur Lane that I came out.

Richard: I literally played Azur Lane all because I'm bored... Now this? I guess there's only a few sane ones.

I turn to Phoenix and Jintsuu.

Phoenix: Hey... Commander's friends?

Kevin: Well, care to tell your names everyone?

Darriel: Do we have to?

Ezra: Come on. Be polite.

Darriel: Fine...

Ezra: Anyways, I'm Eli Anan Ezra, though my name is strange, you'll get used to it.

Asra: I'm Nadia Assia Asra, I have a strange name like Ezra, but like he said. You'll get used to it...

Michael: Name's Michael Visscher. I'm from your place Ironblood, aka. Germany in our place.

As Phoenix quickly aimmed her riggings at Michael, he quickly raise his hands.

Michael: NOT SIMILAR! I'M NOT THEM! I WORK AS AN DIRECTOR OF MY PRIVATE AGENCY!

Phoenix: *retract her riggings* Fine... 

Darriel: Jesus... Well, I'm Darriel Shaw! A man with tons of explosives!

I just rolled my eyes about Darriel's insanity for explosives...

Richard: Name's Richard, Richard Mitchell, U.S. National Guard now, a Mercenary.

Kevin: Well, that's all of us. Any questions?

Jintsuu: Just... how did you guys meet each other?

Kevin: Er... A Long Story...

Richard: Too long...

Jintsuu: I see.

Richard: I suppose you and Jintsuu are good friends, right?

Kevin: More of a close friend, I have a feeling that I could trust her.

Richard: Whatever you say, Kev.

Darriel: So, did you used the ring, dude? I wanted to-

Kevin: Stolen by Belfast, despite my precautions.

Michael: What kind?

Kevin: A safe, hiding it in the cupboard and seal it with steel. Only for Belfast to find an opening...

Darriel: Pftt... You're not an Engineer man...

Kevin: Yeah. Yeah... So, can I tell you guys and the Councils about my life in the Azur Lane?

FEW DAYS LATER...

It has been a couple days since Jintsuu and Phoenix came into my Universe. While Jintsuu and Phoenix go with Michael, Darriel and Richard. I remained at my HQ with Ezra and Asra for the Endgame, the Research and Engineering Corp have made good progress with the Portal, Instructors are training soldiers for the upcoming siege, And I've been training with Asra, and now, I could carry as much as a US Soldier in the Vietnam War. Another day or so, Richard told me that he stopped with Azur Lane. When he played the game, it showed three bloody logos and then dead ships or some of the dead ships with the description of how they died. With most who've escaped alive, begging Richard to protect the Commander, which is me. On the menu screen, Richard told me there was a note saying, "You are friends with the commander... I will find you..." Everyone besides Richard could leave their homes but not Richard with the fear of being killed. Unfortunately, as days went on, more and more commanders are getting killed by shipgirls... And detectives found only a minimal clues. I got word from the Chief Scientist that the R&D Department and her, are on the last step into success with the portal to allow my Soldiers and my friends to come into the Azur Lane since I could only go with Jintsuu. It's Weekends, and I'm overseeing the Engineers and Researchers at the portal. Until a Soldier of the 86th Shield Battalion, gave me my phone.

86th Soldier: Commander, there's a message on your phone.

Kevin: Huh? Odd.

Asra: Who's is it?

Ezra: What does she say?

Kevin: It's a shipgirl... And she's pretty young...

Jintsuu: Young? Well, the FBI might be knocking on our doors.

Kevin: Don't be stupid, the FBI work in the U.S., not in Australia.

Jintsuu: I'm just saying...

Darriel: So?

Kevin: The text reads, "Onii-chan, why are you running away from me and the Royal Navy? Why didn't you tell us that you were the Commander of this New Phoenix Project? Why did you leave the Azur Lane...? We won't hurt you at all... I even know where you live... look outside your camera...", that's what she texted.

Only silent... Until the Security Guard alarmed me.

Security Guard: Commander! Unknown Assailant, found outside the base! Orders?

Kevin: Tell her to leave or else.

Me and the Security Guard went to the Security Cameras and saw a girl with long purple hair, white dress and rigging of an Aircraft Carrier. She looked at the Camera and her eyes shrunks, as the Security Guard keep telling her to leave the place with a microphone.

Security Guard: Unidentified Personnel! Deactivate your weapons and leave the area! I repeat, Deactivate your-

She destroyed the camera and reached to the gate. I turn the micrephoe to the base and...

Kevin: Gather the Shield Company at the frontlines! I need some eyes on the freight elevator! We're under attack!

The alarm has been sounded, and Soldiers started to take positions not too close at the freight elevator for the assault.

86th Captain: Deploy Shields!

The 86th took out their Combat Shields (Phoenix Point), and have their Hephaestus II Pistols (Phoenix Point, Synedrion), while the rest of the infantry took position away from the 86th Company. 132nd New Jericho Company and 221st Synedrion Company have their preferred weapons ready, while my 189th Company used both of their weapons with some of our own.

Kevin: Keep your eyes peeled, stay close to cover and stick to your training!

All 86th, 132nd, 221st and 189th: YES COMMANDER!

My friends even took cover and have their weapons ready... 

Michael: Hope that gate could last...

???: Onii-Chan, Open the Gate.~

Kevin: Don't. Keep the gate shut.

Security Guard: Yes Commander...

We waited...

???: Onii-Chan... I know your in there... open the gate.~

Security Guard: Commander, the Gate is losing durability rapidly!

Richard: Guess, she's a strong one.

Kevin: All units, get ready. she maybe one hostile but she pack a punch. Stay on guard!

Soldiers: YES COMMANDER!

???: Open the gate like a good boy, Onii-Chan...

Kevin: The Gate, status report!

Security Guard: Only at 30%! 20%! 10%! 3!

A portion of the thick gate was broke open, and she was going at the lift.

Kevin: Weapons Ready!

Sounds of weapons turned on and ready.

Suddenly airplanes came out in flocks and start bombing the area, Me, including everyone else, start firing at them. Within the matter of seconds, all of them and down, with many of my men, wounded. Most of which are 86th.

Phoenix Captain: Positions!

They all took positions again, this time, she arrived, staring at the rows of soldiers aiming their weapons at her.

???: Onii-chan... why did you leave the Azur Lane...?

Kevin: Other Commanders were hostile to me and shipgirls are starting to believe in their lies. So, I quit to return with my countrymen.

Unicorn: But.. Unicorn wants to be with you and maybe with Illustrious Onee-chan.

Kevin: It was my Project or the Azur Lane. And the Azur Lane is no better than the Crimson Axis.

Unicorn stared at me after finishing my sentence.

Unicorn: You're coming with me Onii-chan.

Kevin: It's over. The Azur Lane is breaking apart.

Unicorn: Please! The girls miss you! They desperately needed your love to them!

Richard: Calm down, kid!

Michael: You can't, Richard. She's insane.

Kevin: JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP, UNICORN!!! I'M STAYING WITH THE PHOENIX PROJECT AND THAT'S FINAL!

Darriel: Dude, that's harsh!

Unicorn: Unicorn, watches you everywhere you go... even when you try to leave for good.

Though my friend are horrified when they heard that, my soldiers barely flinched, but I could tell, that they didn't like what she said.

Jintsuu: You did not...

Unicorn: Unicorn cannot live without you, Onii-chan.

Kevin: Shut up. I'm not your Onii-Chan and never will be one.

She laughed, as my soldiers starting to move positions.

Phoenix Chief Engineer: Commander, the portal is now completed. Ready?

Kevin: Stand by.

Darriel: W-What now...?

Kevin: I don't know...

Unicorn: Unicorn will do anything to love me, slave...

As she said slave everyone was in shock besides me.

Richard: SLAVE!?

Darriel: What the fuck!?

Michael: M-My word...

Phoenix Captain: What in the Sam's hell?!

Ezra: DAMN BRAT! *pissed off*

Asra: Ezra! Calm down!

189th Soldiers: We won't let you!

Jintsuu: No... Kevin's not a slave...

Unicorn: Hehe~ You're going to be my slave until you love me~

Ezra: Leave him alone!

Kevin: Death before dishonor!

Richard: That's just bullshit!

Jintsuu: You can't do that!

Michael: She's right! That's just cruel!

Unicorn: You all better stay away from Onii-chan. He's mine!

Jintsuu: It's just like how all yandere girls say!

Unicorn: Sleep tight, Onii-Chan!

Kevin: INCOM-!

Suddenly Unicorn pulled out a tranquilizer, I was shot by it. I fell down and I tried to fight back the sleep but I black out. She use her plane to grab me, but they were intercepted by my infantry and my friends, who's trying to keep me safe... Only for Unicorn to send a bombing barrage and blinded my friends and comrades with a flashbang.

Ezra: DAMN IT!!! WHAT NOW!?

Michael: The portal! We still have a chance!

Darriel: Then let's go!!!

Asra: Get up ladies! It ain't over!

I've dealt with the attackers, next with the traitors and now this...? I'm really unlucky, aren't I...?
