You could only groan. Those Spineless Cowards within the Ark are already making your head hurt.

"And which one of those cowards are they sending?" You asked. "Those wannabes in that Pathetic Central Gov? Oligarchs in that Big Three? Or..."

"... Commander Val, and his NIKKE Squad, Counters."

"... Wow, they wanted me to bully little Fresh Meat." You replied and were surprised that they are sending Val to team up with your 201st.

You let out an evil smirk and said.

The DSV Operative nodded and leaves.

At least you'd show the Ark, what a real leader of the Federation is, and maybe with doing some occasional bullying on Val.

The Counters consisting of Marian, Rapi, Anis and Neon along with Commander Val, and a Product 08

"Hello again, Fresh Meat!" You yelled, while enjoying bullying him.

"Really...? You again...?" Val with a dejected reply... He really don't want to see you again.

"Sheesh... Still a total jerk to Commander... I'm not surprised, though." Anis.

"You're still as ruthless as before..." Marian replied.

"Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! Little Chick, you better follow your papa rooster, our you'll be meat to those Rapture Wolves!" You did it again, and your Troopers laughed.

After calming your troopers down, including yourself...

"Ahem... According to the scan, you'll have to follow the maglev train tracks to reach to the Power Station. A high-voltage current is running through the entire line. It's not an issue for Nikkes... But for the Commander, Colonel Y/N, and the Human Troopers..." Shifty.

You just shrugs, casually.

"Where is the current coming from?" Rapi asked.

"The City was closed off to prevent any Raptures from Escaping. Seems it was deliberately leaked to the outside. The line was close to completion, so it has been generating electricity autonomously."

"Whoever haphazardly did this, along with letting the enemy use the Station, without disabling or destroying... Is going to get Severely Punished for this. Even if that person is dead, his or her body is going to get 50 bullets inside them." You muttered.

This was enough to make Ingrid or Syuen more sane than you.

"What about the humans who are still trapped in the city?" Anis asked.

"Now, 100 Bullets onto their dead body." You again.

"Would you stop?" Marian.

"Make me."

"Well, considering we don't know what we'll run into, it's best they stay inside." Anis.

"Well, if they are still alive..." Val.

"Our first order of business is cutting off the power to the line. Is there any way we can do that?" Rapi asked Shifty.

"Yes. I will mark the location of the control room on the map."

After that.

"Commander, I'm ready." Rapi.

"Let's go." Val replied.

"201st! You know what to do!" You yelled to your Troopers and then cocked your Morita Mk. I.

"YES COLONEL!!!" Your Troopers loudly replied, which the Raptures heard that, and coming.

"Damn it! You just alerted them!" Anis.

"I like the odds." You replied, with a smirk. "CRUSH THEM ALL!!!"

The Troopers immediately opened fire at the Raptures, as the Nikkes then helped.

As Val's Counters team have to take cover while reloading... You and your troopers does not, and as the first and second ranks had to crouch and reload, the third ranks immediately opened fire, as a few have Morita Mk. III SAWs, or C-32 GLs.

As your Snipers deal with the ones that are too far, your Combat Engineers burn those that are too close, with Napalm.

Within a 10 minutes... Piles of Raptures that were either burned, riddled with bullets, or blown to pieces. Along with some Troopers being killed.

"The power has been shut off. You can take the line straight into the city. Although, you'll have to push through the countless Raptures' bodies, after Y/N and his Troopers just alert the whole horde of them to attack us..."

"Let's go." Rapi.

"Shouldn't we find a pair of Rubber Boots?" Neon asked.

"No need. The Line won't be able to electrify the Commander, don't worry." Marian.

"Alright... That includes the Troopers... Let's go." Val.

And they're now heading to where the 201st Troopers Corp are waiting, along side going through the bodies of Lifeless Raptures.

"Neon, I was getting worried back there... You sure you didn't go a bit overboard, like those guys back there?" Anis asked Neon. Worried that she's just as insane as the Troopers.

"The bigger the better, that's what I say!" Neon with a cheerful tone.

"Aren't you worried that Colonel Y/N is a terrible example for you to follow...?" Anis.

"Let me tell you something, Anis. The only thing standing between us and our enemy is our weapons. So, If I'm ending up being more like Colonel Y/N as a result, that's a risk I'm willing to take." Neon.

"You'd fit with those lunatics, easily..." Anis, with an unamused tone.

"Agreed..." Marian added.

As they arrived...

"Alright, everyone! Follow me!" Neon.

After calming down, and arriving closer.

"Location of power station confirmed. You may proceed."

"Considering that place could be crawling with Raptures, we probably shouldn't just Waltz in through the front door... I don't want to crash into a Rapture house party and end up as an entree..." Anis...

And then she pointed at you and your 201st.

"However, him and these guys will say otherwise... To them, the more Rapture they've killed, the better their chances to retake this world."

"What do you expect? We don't take Raptures as prisoners." You replied.

"I can tell... But is the Power Station still in Operation?" Val asked.

"Roger. Reports indicate that it resumed operation not long ago, although, no ones knows how or why." Shifty replied.

"I doubt there would be anyone in there, except Raptures using them..." You told them.

It seems they're smarter than they actually thought of... And your Troopers seems to be seeing the possibility.

"Officially, there's supposed to be zero humans remaining on the surface... Although, the Colonel's intuition might be correct. There has been several attempted investigation on this phenomenon, in the past... But, it's likely that the Raptures have got the Investigation Teams."

"Apparently, we've sent in a large band of troops before. They got surrounded by hordes of Raptures and got destroyed... Though, these Troopers might stand solid 50/50 Chance if they used their cards right." Anis.

"With a lot of Dead Human Soldiers' Bodies..." Marian...

"Putting aside the possibility of potential survivors, the power station is of the great importance. A Power Station of this size could supply electricity to all facilities in the Ark for 2 months."

"In other words, this operation is at the utmost importance." Rapi

"Apperantly, enough to ask the 201st to help, along with their Militaristic Colonel..."

"Anis..." Marian.

"What's wrong?"

"Are you sure that you're willing to let the 201st to deal with this mission on themselves...?" Marian asked...

"I... No... As much as I dislike their Militaristic Attitude, just seeing and thinking of them dying next to me while fighting, is enough to get me to try to prevent more casualties..."

"Jeez... Thanks, I guess..." Y/N.

"Then please, think before you speak... But, at least they'll respect your honesty." Marian told Anis.

"Yeah... Yeah... I got it..."

"But, how do we get in?" Neon asked.

"What do you think?" Y/N told them, and then cocking your Morita Mk. I. Your Troopers following suit.

"I like the way you guys are going with!" Neon, which she did the same. "Let's do this."

"Isn't that supposed to be the Commander's decision?" Marian.

"Proceed with the Operation."

"Understood. Let's go." Anis. "Well, let's get this over with. If we're all going to die, I'd prefer to do it sooner rather than later."

"Anis." Rapi.

"Commander, you stay in the rear, where is nice and safe. You just tell us what to do, and we'll do the actual fighting." Anis then continues... "Think you can handle that? After all, it's better than the raw deal that we and the 201st we're getting. We're just cannon fodder... Or Glass Cannons in the 201st' case..."

"Anis!" Rapi loudly.

"Up yours, civvie!" You yelled.

"What!? Isn't that the most sensible course of action?"

"I could report you for insubordination to a Superior Officer." Rapi warned.

"Big Whoop."

"You would be executed on the spot." Rapi added.

"How about a Grenade with your name on it as your Execution?" And you made it worse.

As Val and his Squad went for a quieter route. You ordered your 201st Troopers to attack at the front door, and destroy every single Rapture they can see.

To which, they did.

For the Counters, the Raputes are too distracted to fight the 201st, hence Neon's Firepower didn't catch attention.

After regrouping and taking more casulties...

"... Rapture spotted up ahead." Rapi.

"They're acting like they own the place. What are they doing here?" Anis.

"What are they up to?" Neon.

"... I don't know." Marian.

"... Probably to get energy from electricity or something worse." You wondered.

"Well, they're keeping the Power Station, running." Val.

"Huh. Not surprised."

"What!? How do Raptures know how to use human artifacts?" Anis, with a shocked tone.

"Oh please, I've seen them often in Colonies. It's probably too easy for these Mechanical Freakshows to operate it."

"Correct." Rapi.

"This can't be real..." Anis...

"Has anything like this ever happened before?" Neon asked.

"Not that we've know of." Shifty replied.

"... Well, looks like it's the Raptures in the Power Station's Lucky Day then." You told them. "Let's just go home and tell this to your Central Gov, I'll report it back to Major Cortez."

"Roger." Rapi.

"Shifty, confirm the escape route." Val asked...

And then a Laser shot has left one of the Trooper without a head, and died.

"MIKEYYYY!!!"

"Shit! Return fire!" You yelled, and your Troopers fired at the attacking Rapture.

"Damn it! We're exposed!" Anis.

"Engaging! Commander! Get behind me!" Rapi.

Another electron laser, and Marian was shot down, and falls right at Val's hands... She was no more.

"M-Marian!!!" Neon.

"Damn you, scum!" Anis.

"..." Rapi was silent...

Val was about to scream...

Until you slapped him in the face, shocking Rapi, Anis and Neon. And then yelled directly at his face.

"GET YOUR THICK SKULL TOGETHER, AND GET US AN EVAC ROUTE, NOW!!!"

"GAHHHH!!! A-Alright... Shifty! Get us an Escape route, immediatly!" Val.

"Roger that! The Harvester is still in Operation. Follow this route, and you should be home free... And it looks like there's a Tyrant Signal."

"It's the one who dug the hole!" Anis. "There's no way we can fight it in this place! Marian is gone!"

"Get up the Harvester and move out! Engineers! Get the HMG and Rocket Turrets on and Man them!!!" You ordered your Troopers.

"Yep!" Neon.

"You heard the man! Let's go!!!" Val included.

They all got aboard and the Harvester gained some distance...

A Tyrant Class, Grave Digger came out of the rubble and is chasing after them... Which caused you to yelled.

"SON OF A FUCKING COCKSUCKER!!! FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING RAPTURES!!!"

And opened fire at the Grave Digger, as everyone else did the same, except Val.

It fired Homing Drills and the Troopers intercepted them, as two of it's Weapon Parts were taken down... It charged, and while the Nikkes quickly take cover... 3 Engineers and 40 troopers were turned into a bloody mass...

And you managed to survive that fatal attack, as Marian with her last bit of strength... saved you, at the cost of her being tossed away from the Harvester, by the Grave Digger... She sacrficed herself to save you.

"MARIAN!!!" Val yelled.

"Shit!!! Marian!!!" Anis.

"Marian..." Rapi...

"ARGHHH!!! YOU SON OF A FUCKING WHORE!!!" You were enraged, manned a deserted HMG turret, and opened fire at the Grave Digger, in blind rage.

Val joined in, and manned the other empty HMG turret.

"THIS IS FOR MARIAN, YOU FUCKING TUNNEL RAT!!!" Val snapped.

"Holy...! Commander just snapped..." Anis, was frightened...

"Commander!!!" Rapi, got scared that Val will be next.

"FIREPOWER!!!" Neon, Neon did it again, this time to make it feel pain.

"HELL YEAH!!! KEEP AT IT, KID!!! AIM THE WEAK SPOTS!!!" You yelled at Val, while firing at the Grave Digger.

"I KNOW!!!" Val replied, and followed your advise.

With the effective firepower of You, Val, Rapi, Neon, & Anis... After a few successful interception... The Grave Digger was neutralized.

"Hah... Hah... Holy shit... That felt insane...!" Val...

"Heh... Good to see you're finally being a real fighter, Val." You told him.

"Glad that I did."

"... Yeah... But, Marian..." Anis...

"There's nothing we could do." Rapi.

"We're almost there! Looks like the rest of the 201st are holding them off! We'll have to run before any of the 201st fire a Nuclear Warhead with a Rocket Launcher!" Shifty.

"Roger that! Commander, run!" Anis.

"Colonel?" Val.

"I'll be fine. Just go." You told Val.

He nods and run with the Counters, and you remained with your 201st. And then you yelled...

"NUKE THOSE BASTARDS!!!"

... You'll probably going to have to get those radiations cleansed off you, after this...
