Two weeks later ...

In the high school corridors...

"Ouch! " I screamed as a force shoved me to the ground. 

"Oops! Sorry Alex!" A voice dripping with mockery echoed from behind, I turned, face to face with lily, along with diamond and her clique, condescending 'u' shapes forming on their mouths, passing students snickering, their eyes in my direction.

"So, how was your 'break'?" Lily asked, oozing with sarcasm 

Break? More like a fresh cycle of torment. And a stain on my record for something I didn't even do! 

" I think someone's just upset because her new record got smudged!" Autumn sniggered, the corridor erupting in laughter, excluding some juniors and Kiara, as usual with her forlorn look whenever she saw me bullied. 

 I wouldn't do that if I were you ladies! Did you forget your brains? This school has a zero tolerance policy for bullying , but, of course, you were too focused on your looks and popularity that sadly isn't going to last that you wouldn't do it. 

"Do you have anything you say, weirdo?" Diamond sniggered. 

"Guys, please! Just leave me alone!" I begged, with my now usual mask of submissiveness and weakness. 

"I already warned you! It would get worse once you come back! I think you should've stayed at home instead!" Lily sniggered, causing the corridor's laughing to accelerate. 

"But, I don't want to stay at home, because -" 

"Yeah, because mommy and daddy don't even love you! How pathetic!" Diamond mocked. 

"Diamond, please don't mock me! I love you!" I begged. 

Love you? Yeah I don't think so! My brain snapped at my voice. 

"Call me your majesty sis!" Diamond ordered. 

"Y- your majesty..." 

"Good." She replied, giving a smug look of satisfaction . "Now let me give you some updates in the school while you were gone. " 

If this is about my looks, or not reaching your shallow standards, than I'm not interested! I got up, my body facing them 180 degrees. 

" Principal lecroy and your precious old English teacher Mrs Wilson passed away last week from old age!" Diamond announced to me. 

What?! 

"Yeah, and the school doesn't have a 0 tolerance policy anymore!" Autumn added, rolling her emerald eyes. 

"That's right! Times changed, nerd!" Colette snickered, adding, "and Mrs miller has been in the hospital since last week due to cancer! So now you have no one to turn to!" 

What? No! Not Mrs miller! One of the few who saw through me and treats me like an actual person... 

I felt like an elephant was resting on my heart, about to crack due to its weight. 

"Now that the school's policies have changed, I think we should make her life the worst nightmare the world has ever seen,  at least until we graduate, right everyone?!" Lily snickered. 

Chorus of agreement echoed throughout the corridor. 

" totally!" Arnold sneered. "Should we start with taking her lunch money?!" 

"Yeah! What about taking her lunch and eating it right in front of her?"  Scarlet added. 

"Why don't remind her at least once a day that she can't complain because even her own parents don't love her because she's too ugly for her own good?!" A random girl suggested. 

"Let's get the whole school involved!" One screamed from the other side of the corridor. 

"Perfect!" Lily exclaimed.

"Operation make Alex's life a nightmare has been officially started!" Diamond announced. 

"Hope you're ready, nerd!" Autumn taunted. 

Ready? Oh Don't worry, I already am! Would you like to  be an addition to my revenge list? Lily, Felix and Felix's gang are already listed, and I don't mind adding you in! Just don't whine about the consequences once they come!

During English class. ...

"Greetings, ms walker, I am Mr hillstone, and i am your English teacher since Mrs Wilson passed away last week. " A dark haired man dressed in a well ironed formal suit greeted in a posh British accent. 

"Urm... Hello Mr hillstone..." I stuttered, his dark eyes like a predator stalking it's prey. 

Slam! The transparent ruler in his hand slamming the table, giving me a jump.

"It's good morning, young lady!" He screamed. 

"Hey Mr hillstone!" Diamond greeted casually, strutting in with her clique, the popular crowd including lily following suit. 

"Good morning ladies!" He greeted in return, a stark contrast to the icy tone he used on me. "Please sit down before lesson begins while I talk to Alexis!" 

What? But... She didn't even greet formally?! Why am I the only one?! Why does she receive a warm hello while I get a lecture for a polite greeting?! 

It's about my looks again, isn't it, Mr hillstone? Honestly, what's new? 

Wow, thank you for fueling the passionate fire burning in my heart, Mr hillstone! to become world famous singer songwriter, midnight! You just wait! That will happen someday!!! I refuse to admit defeat! I won't rest until I'm done with every single one of you!
