-Boomerang Mario: Using the Boomerang Flower, Mario dresses up like a Boomerang Bro and can summon a boomerang to hit enemies, destroy projectiles and obstacles, and collect items from a distance. He can only throw one boomerang at a time, however.
-Cape Mario: Equipping a cape after using the Cape Feather, Mario can fly through the air, knock away incoming projectiles, descend slower, divebomb at an opponent, divebomb at the ground to cause an earthquake/shockwave that damages everything near him, and spin around like a top to strike enemies with his cape.
-Cat Mario: Using a Super bell, Mario puts on a catsuit that allows him to run quickly on all fours and scale walls as well as slash at opponents with claws.
-Lucky Cat Mario: Similar to Cat Mario, but instead accessed with a and the transformation gives Mario a bell collar. It has all the same powers, but it can also turn Mario into an invulnerable golden statue of himself. He can use this in mid-air to crush opponents.
-Cloud Mario: Using the Cloud Flower, Mario can walk on clouds and jump farther. He can also spawn up to three temporary cloud platforms. This amount can be refilled with more Cloud Flowers.
-Fire Mario: Using the Fire Flower, Mario's pyrokinetic skills are given an upgrade. He can shoot big fireballs slightly faster in this form (, but he can already shoot out normal-sized fireballs at this speed according to ) and shoot out two fireballs from both of his sides at once with a spin jump. Considering he can do most of what his fire form usually grants him in his base form in a lot of games (excluding the previous two things mentioned), it is not very useful in a Death Battle scenario though it is still useful to a degree.
-Flying Squirrel Mario: Using a Super Acorn, Mario dons a flying squirrel costume and can glide, stick to walls, spin jump higher, and give him a large mid-air boost upwards.
-P-Flying Squirrel Mario: Similar to Flying Squirrel Mario but accessed with a P-Acorn. This form has a shinier appearance than Flying Squirrel Mario and has a big P on the hat. It has all of the abilities of the Flying Squirrel Mario but also allows Mario to boost up into the air an unlimited amount of times.
-Gold Mario: Using the Gold Flower, Mario becomes golden and can shoot out powerful Gold Fireballs that can create large and destructive shockwaves when they hit something. It can even turn some enemies into coins.
-Ice Mario: Using the Ice Flower, Mario can create and manipulate iceballs.
-Raccoon Mario: Using the Super Leaf, Mario can fly temporarily after reaching enough speed and hover downward.
-P-Raccoon Mario: Using a P-Wing, Mario can achieve this form is the same as Raccoon Mario but with a big P on the chest and unlimited flight.
-Bee Mario: Using a Bee Mushroom, Mario gains a bee-like outfit while able to temporarily fly, climb honeycombs and walk on flower petals and clouds. This form can be canceled by water.
-Boo Mario: Using a Boo Mushroom, Mario can turn into a Boo with the same powers as the ghosts themselves.
-Super Mario: Mario can use a Super Mushroom to increase his size, whether it be to return to normal after being shrunk somehow or to temporarily increase his size by more than two times to access a large, invulnerable and powerful form for 20 seconds.
-Mega Mario: Using the Mega Mushroom, Mario can enlarge into an invincible obstacle-smashing building-sized giant for a short time. Mario is powerful enough to destroy entire levels by rampaging through them and instantly kill Bowser with a stomp. The time limit ranges from 25 seconds in games like Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros. DS to 1 minute in games like Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
-Propeller Mario: Using the Propeller Mushroom, Mario gains a propeller helmet that lets him fly upwards. He likes using his previously mentioned Drill Spin attack more in this form as well
-Rock Mario: Using a Rock Mushroom, Mario can encase himself in a boulder that allows him to spin around and crush enemies at high speeds.
-Spring Mario: Using a Spring Mushroom, Mario is encased in a spring coil that allows him to jump even higher.
-Bunny Mario: Upon using a Carrot power-up and gaining a pair of bunny ears, Mario can run faster, jump higher, and flutter in midair.
-Superball Mario: When Mario uses a Superball Flower, he gains the ability to shoot harmful bouncing superballs to attack enemies.
-Mini Mario: After using a Mini Mushroom, Mario is reduced to a smaller size that allows him to run on water and go through small passages. However, he is weaker and less durable in this form but he still maintains enough strength to harm enemies with his ground pound.
-Frog Mario: Putting on the Frog suit, Mario can swim underwater more effectively without needing to breathe. But Mario's movement on land is limited to jumping.
-Hammer Mario: Putting on a Hammer Suit, Mario gets the powers of the Hammer Brothers with an infinite supply of hammers. Mario's shell he gains in this form is fireproof.
-Metal Mario: Putting on the Metal Cap, Mario becomes metal-skinned and nearly invincible. Upon his feats is withstanding strong winds and underwater currents. But while his speed is unaffected, the downside is that he can be injured by a fall and he can sink easily (Though Mario has used the latter as an advantage.)
-Penguin Mario: Putting on the Penguin Suit, Mario can swim underwater more effectively, slide on his belly for faster travel when he is on ice, have better traction when on ice, and create and manipulate iceballs. When using a spin jump, he can shoot out two iceballs at once that bounce away at both sides of him. While the iceballs are effective, they are not quite as effective as his Ice Mario form's iceballs.

>Going by this, Base Mario scales to Base Bowser which is Universe Level+ since Yoshi has beaten Bowser both as a baby and an adult, Princess Peach can beat Bowser herself, Luigi has beaten King Boo who made a portal that would bring universal destruction if left on uncheck, Mario is stronger than Daisy who one shotted Bowser with a slap and she's stronger than Peach, and Bowser was already in a tired, depowered, and injured state when this feat happened. >It should be noted that his power-ups can at the very least withstand small attacks like and long falls without going away. This would seem to imply that Mario's power-ups can withstand simple hits and that it really would take a fatal hit to get rid of a power-up or at least a strong hit.

>Crimson Eagle: Using the power of a Crimson Wisp, the user turns into a crimson-colored eagle-like figure that brings easy access to the sky unhindered, allowing for faster-paced flight in comparison to Green Hover.
>Cyan Laser: Using the power of a Cyan Wisp, the user transforms into a cyan laser beam. As the Cyan Laser, they gain the same properties as that of a real laser, allowing them to move as a living beam of light. When hitting any surfaces as the Cyan Laser, they can bounce off them as if they were reflective surfaces. It can be used for quick traversal across the battlefield or for devastating impacts when ramming into enemies.
>Green Hover: Using the power of a Green Wisp, the user turns into a green hovercraft. As the Green Hover, the user gains the power of flight that allows them to fly leisurely through midair and let out small pulses of energy to damage enemies. They can also make direct contact with enemies to harm them.
>Gray Quake: Using the power of a Grey Wisp, the user transforms into a grey iron ball with yellow eyes. As the Gray Quake, the user's body density is greatly increased and makes them so heavy that jumping or falling down on the ground can create destructive shockwaves. The Gray Quake also possesses wall-crawling abilities, allowing Sonic to scale walls despite his weight in this form.
>Indigo Asteroid: Using the power of an Indigo Wisp, the user turns into an orb-shaped body with striped indigo skin and a matching planetary ring encircling his middle. As the Indigo Asteroid, the user essentially becomes a miniature planet with a strong gravitational field. They are as such capable of creating a powerful gravitational pull around themselves, strong enough yank surrounding objects and enemies into themselves, subsequently transmuting the captured matter into life-less material for their ring system. Additionally, the gathered matter can be used to empower the gravitational pull. The Indigo Asteroid also grants users the ability to levitate through midair.
>Ivory Lightning: Using the power of an Ivory Wisp, the user transforms into a living, straw-colored lightning bolt. As the Ivory Lightning, users gain the same properties as that of a real lightning bolt. Associated with this form, users can move at lightning-fast speeds and with acrobatic movements as living electricity. They also obtain electrokinetic abilities in this form, giving him the ability to either form threads of electricity that he can use to either electrocute enemies or connect themselves to targets as tethers.
>Magenta Rhythm: Using the power of a Magenta Wisp, the user turns into a large magenta-colored eighth note. When in this form, they are able to bounce on air that allows them to move throughout it in semi-flight.
>Orange Rocket: Using the power of an Orange Wisp, the user turns into a stubby orange rocket with six fins arranged in a regular hexagon on the rear. As the Orange Rocket, they can create powerful jet propulsion from their back to launch themselves forward through midair at staggering speeds.
>Pink Spikes: Using the power of a Pink Wisp, the user turns into a hot pink spiky ball. As the Pink Spikes, users gain long, razor-sharp and extremely durable spikes on his body. By inserting these spikes into a surface, they can stick perfectly firm to any surface, allowing him to climb up walls and along ceilings. The spikes can also be used offensively by using them to pierce opponents. It can also be used to augment the making it much more powerful than normal.
>Purple Frenzy: Using the power of a Purple Wisp, the user turns into a flowing purple, demonic-looking chomper that constantly gives off a dark and thick aura. As the Purple Frenzy, they gain a powerful jaw that can chew and consume any matter they bite off and add it to its own mass, allowing the Purple Frenzy to grow larger for each bite until reaching maximum size. When reaching maximum size, the Purple Frenzy also gains a suction breath that lets the user suck in smaller objects not too heavy or rooted to the ground.
>Red Burst: Using the power of a Red Wisp, the user turns into a red fireball that constantly gives off an aura of flames. As the Red Burst, users obtain pyrokinetic abilities. They are able to form a shield of flames around themselves that instantly incinerate anything it touches, and they can create explosions of fire by combusting into flames without inflicting harm on themselves. These explosions can be channeled to shoot the user higher into the air or be charged up to trigger large-scale and powerful explosions that destroy nearly anything within its range. In addition, the user's speed increases while using Red Burst.
>Violet Void: Using the power of a Violet Wisp, the user turns into a large, ghastly and smoky black orb with violet outlines. As the Violet Void, users essentially become a living black hole which can draw objects into themselves from a distance and make them . However, the user cannot draw in objects that are too big or heavy. Because of the Violet Void smoke-like makeup, users are granted a degree of intangibility, allowing them to pass through certain obstacles unharmed. As the Violet Void, users are also capable of flight through mid-air. Like the Purple Frenzy, the Violet Void can add the mass of the objects they draw into them, allowing users to grow larger the more they consume until they reach maximum size. Also, the more the Violet Void increases in size, the stronger its suction ability becomes, enabling users to draw in bigger and heavier objects from greater distances. At maximum size, the Violet Void can draw in objects the size of the Frigate Skullian, a massive aircraft.
>Yellow Drill: Using the power of a Yellow Wisp, the user turns into a yellow spiral drill. As the Yellow Drill, users can burrow and tunnel underground at remarkably fast speeds. This can also be applied in underwater environments, allowing users to move as a living torpedo without the need for oxygen.
>Final Color Blaster: All the Wisps gather together and use their combined Hyper Go-On energies in one vibrant attack.

(A/N): I'll be using the actors of Mario and Sonic from their movies because they fit them really well.
Here we see Mario setting up for a picnic in the forest and he sees that no one is around and he sets up his basket and he sees Sonic laying on it.
Mario: "Hey! That's mine!"
Sonic: "Yeah I am already on it so I already got dibs."
Mario then wrap up Sonic in the blanket and then toss him to a tree as we see Sonic get up from the blanket and turn to Mario.
Sonic: "Okay you're asking for it fatty!"
We then see Sonic charge at Mario and we see Sonic beating Mario and then running circles around Mario.
Sonic: "Too fast for ya tubby!?"
Mario: "Okay that's it!"
Mario then pulled out a fire flower and became fire mario and fired numerous fire balls at Sonic and Sonic sees a Cyan Laser Wisp and he turns to Mario as he continues to shoot fireballs at Sonic as we see Sonic go for the wisp and grab it.
Sonic: "Can I borrow you for a quick second?"
Sonic became a Cyan Laser and then he charged into Mario as he pulled out a hammer and knocked Sonic into the atmosphere and we see Mario pull out the Cape Feather and become Flying Mario and then he flies into the air and we see both Sonic and Mario clash in the clouds. We then see their silhouettes in the clouds and we see flashes of the two of them fighting each other. Then we see Sonic falling down from the sky and we see a talking flower next to where Sonic crash landed.
Talking Flower: "You seem to be having a bad day."
We then hear the sound of an elephant and we see a giant elephant fall butt first onto Sonic and it was Mario who was an Elephant and we see Mario get up and he turns to Sonic only to see that he's not there.
Mario: "Hey where did you go?"
We then see Sonic using the Yellow Drill Wisp to go underground and then we see Sonic come out of nowhere and grab a Purple Frenzy Wisp and go on a feeding frenzy and try to attack Mario but thanks to the strength of the Elephant Fruit granted to Mario we see him holding back Sonic and we see Purple Frenzy Sonic pushes Mario into a tree and was about to eat Mario until he grabs a Gold Flower and fired gold fireballs at Sonic as he overloads and explodes into coins and Sonic is back in his base form.
Mario: "Now that's what I call putting your money where your mouth is."
Sonic: *gets up*"Oh I get it, you got a flower that gives you the power to shoot gold at people and gold is a form of currency. That is comedy gold, pun entirely intended."
Mario then grabs an Ice Flower and turns into Ice Mario and fires ice balls at Sonic as we see Sonic dodge the ice balls and then he then tackles Mario as Mario was no longer Ice Mario and we see Mario grab a Bubble Flower and jump out of Sonic's grip and when Sonic charged at Mario we see Mario form a bubble around Sonic and Sonic sees this.
Sonic: "Really? The bubble?
Mario: "Oh come on it's a great power."
Sonic: *about to say something but realizes*"Touche."
Sonic then pop the bubble and then uppercut Mario into the air and then Mario then pulled out a Lucky Bell and then becomes Cat Mario and then charges at Sonic and slash him hard enough to launch him into a tree and Sonic sees Mario in the cat suit.
Sonic: "Ha! You're a cat! What are you gonna do, spit hairballs at me?"
We then see Mario smile smugfully and we see him punch a tree and we see him get under a pile of Double Cherries and then there is an army of 10,000 Marios charging at Sonic.
Sonic: "Oh this is gonna hurt."
We then see the numerous cat marios attack Sonic from all sides from the slashing, biting, kicking punching in the nuts 50 or so times, knocking teeth out, slashing-
Sonic: "Wait!"*spits out a tooth*"You already said slashing."
(A/N): "There's a lot of slashing."
We then see a burst of light coming out of nowhere and then we see Sonic summon the Super Emeralds and then become Hyper Sonic.
Sonic: "Now to show you who's boss!"
We then see Sonic destroying Mario's Double Cherry copies as we see him checking his pockets for a power up for the situation to fire an Arrow of Light at Mario. When the smoke cleared we see Mario now Invincible thanks to the Starman and then we see Sonic using multiple Homing attacks on Mario but Mario was unphased by all of them. We then see Mario uppercutted Sonic and then we see the invincibility wear out and we see Mario turn to see the Giga Bell and he went to it and became Giga Cat Mario and we see him fight off Sonic as we see Sonic use the Hyperflash to reduce Mario back to his base form and then we see Mario pull out a Invincibility Bell and then become White Cat Mario and we see the two of them take the fight to the skies until Sonic was back into Base Form and then see Mario use his claws to slash Sonic's head off at the last second.
Mario: "Ha! Now I'm ahead of you!"
