Note: For this battle, instead of one Goomba fighting one Koopa, it's a battle between an army of Goombas and an army of Koopas.

Backstory: Goombas as a species were once allied with the Mushroom Kingdom. However, when the Koopa Troop declared war on the Mushroom Kingdom some years ago, many Goombas defected. Though they were initially less prominent within the Koopa Troop than races like the Shy Guys, as seen in Yoshi's Island, they quickly became the most notable component of that group besides the eponymous Koopas, and have since become one of the most prolific races in gaming.

Background:

-They are suicidally brave

-Defected from the Mushroom Kingdom due to prejudice 

-Is one of the two most prominent minions of Bowser

-A basic enemy of the Mario games

Basic Combat Tactics:

-Main strategies are patrols and frontal assaults.

>Goombas on patrol will march back and forth between large objects such as pipes. They will often be in groups of three or so, walking in a row. Sometimes, a solitary Goomba will patrol a small circle. Al

>Charging Goombas will run straight at their foe at a moderate pace, regardless of unfavorable odds or common sense.

-Typically bites opponents, with the occasional headbutt, roll, headbonks, and kicks.

>The headbonk is a headbutt preceded by a jump into the air.

-Capable of swimming; used to attack enemies

Goomba Tower:

-A Goomba formation where two to ten Goombas will stand on one another.

-As Goombas are vulnerable from above, this reduces the danger of jumping opponents.

-Individual Goombas in a tower can still be defeated, but this doesn't destroy the tower as a whole.

-A Goomba Tower can be destroyed with a single ground pound

-Towers can include a non-Goomba ally or item on top.

Backstory: Koopas are the backbone of Bower's forces and they are the most prominent part of the Super Mario universe itself.

Battle

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we see an army of Koopas and an army of Goombas about to battle each other and they are ready for battle.

Koopa 1: "May the best minion win Goombas!"

Goomba 1: "You won't win this Koopas!"

We then see the two armies charge at each other and the battle is something like out of Avengers Endgame. We see Paratoopas throwing spears and killing dozens of Goombas as we see Cat Goombas attacking Cat Koopas. We then see Goombas in Kuribo Shoes both normal and stiletto variants and they are attacking and we see Goomba towers forming 30 goombas and we see Koopas launching spears at them, resulting in the fall of their towers. We then see a montage of all the carnage and chaos of their war like a dramatic war documentary. We then see slow motion pictures of Koopas attacking Goombas with their shells and we see Giant Goombas stomping on multiple Koopas along with Tanooki Goombas taking out dozens of Koopas. We then see one Koopa grab a radio and speak into it.

Koopa 1337: "Rain fire!"

Koopa 3009: "But sir, our troops!"

Koopa 1337: "Just do it!"

We then see the blue shell Koopas become Paratroopas and then they fly in the sky and then they go into their shells and they rain down and cause multiple explosions killing both Goomba and Koopa. We then see 13 Koopas left standing and they see that they have won.

Many years later, we see the 13 surviving Koopas now old men and they are telling young koopas the stories of the Great Koopa and Goomba War.

Kid Koopa: "Papa, how did the Koopa and Goomba war start?"

Old Koopa: "It all started when two sides disagreed with each other.

As the Old Koopa tells the story, we see events of the Original Goomba vs. Koopa battle along with the DBX battle as a montage of events of the past and present. We then see a memorial of both the Goomba and Koopa allies Bowser and Bowser Junior has lost in that battle. And we see a Dry Bones comforting them and see it was the Koopa from the First battle between the Koopa and Goomba. And we see constellations of a Goomba and a Koopa hugging each other and being friends for life.
