Capri's POV

"Ah great, what a great day to get dunked on-"

Before I finish saying this, I fell off the my bed without knowing it.

"Ouch.."

I looked up and noticed that my roommate Cain was still asleep.

"Oh good he's still asleep."

Feeling relieved about not waking my roommate, I decided to check the mailbox by going outside to see if there was any junk mail I could get rid of.

I opened the mailbox and saw the letters that were for the four of us, but why does it look fancy thou?

Feeling unsure, I decided to take them with me and went back inside the house.

Once I went inside, I heard the TV being played and decided to check who turned on the TV.

Turns out, it was Cain who turn on the TV since he felt bored and decided to lighten up his mood by watching the TV if there are something special that we'll watch.

End of Capri's POV

Cain looked at Capri who woke up earlier than him.

Cain: Morning Capri!

Capri: Morning. Are there any news that are quite new and recent?

Cain: Not sure, but I remember that there's a new channel. Should I choose that?

Capri: Sure, why not?

Cain was switching the channels on the TV while Brayden and Spencer went in the living room.

Spencer: What is going on?

Capri: Cain wanted to show us the channel that he saw earlier.

Spencer: Huh? Alright then. I'll join you two.

Brayden: Same..

Both of them sat on the floor and Cain found the channel which showed the pink-haired girl on the TV.

∆On TV∆

???: Hello viewers! Today I'll be showing you guys the tour of the competition set for our first show.

???: I'm Penny, and this is one of my co-hosts, Pax!

Pax waves at the camera while holding the clipboard of the list for the set.

Penny: And that is Bryon, another co-host of mine!

Bryon was busy observing nature.

Penny: Uh Bryon?

Bryon: Oh uh, sorry about that, hello!

Bryon waves at the camera.

Penny: And now for the tour. We have..

Penny: The cafeteria where we serve the food to the contestants. But it'll be closed at 9:00 in the evening, so yes, that's it about the cafeteria.

Penny: Next we have a camp fire where the elimination has to take place.

Penny: Then we have a small hut where one of the contestants can confess privately without others knowing what is going on in their world.

Penny: We now have two cabins, one for the boys and the other is for the girls.

Penny: And lastly, we have a small shop a little bit near the competition area where they can buy the things they need for the challenge or whatever their needs.

Penny: And if anyone wonders who the contestants are, you'll know that whoever receives this fancy letter from us, you're invited to become a contestant. Don't worry, I bought the tickets for 20 contestants so the ones who worked at the airport will let you know that you're in the right place! Until then, see you next time!

∆Back to Reality∆

It switches to different news after the four watched the channel that no one has seen it.

Brayden: That's unexpected..

Spencer nods in response.

Capri: (That explains why we have four letters, meaning we're the contestants with the other 16 contestants.)

Brayden: Say Capri?

Capri: Yes?

Brayden: Have you checked the mailbox?

Capri: About that.. I saw the fancy ass letters that I found in the mailbox. I don't know if it's a coincidence that it's related to the news we watched earlier.

Brayden: If I remember correctly, it has a yellow envelope with an indigo ribbon attached to it.

Capri: Then it's not a coincidence that we're the contestants. Not surprised to be honest if we're against each other.

Spencer: Hey, we don't have to worry about that..

Capri: Sorry, it's just that I know pretty much nothing about competition other than knowing that we have to be against each other.

Spencer gave Capri a head pat, reassuring her that it was okay.

Spencer: That's okay, we don't have to worry much about it. What matters is that we're on vacation together and we need a break from the semester.

Capri: Fair enough.

Cain heard his phone vibrating and decided to check it.

Cain: I'll check it out..

Cain checked his phone and saw the message that was from the anonymous but is related to the competition.

Cain reads the message that they sent.

Cain: The exact time for the private jet leading to the competition will be 1 in the afternoon. In the meantime, pack your stuff, we'll be waiting for your presence.

Capri: Guess we can't say no to this.

Spencer: I agree..

Brayden: So that means we have to pack our stuff?

Capri: Yes, but we have to eat first.

Cain: Oh shit, I forgor 💀.

Capri: That's fine, we can work together so we can finish it quickly.

Cain: Alright then.

They all went to the kitchen to prepare the ingredients for their meal.

Spencer: So what do we need?

Capri: Hmm.. let's see..

Capri checked the fridge and has eggs and some other ingredients like sausages and cheese.

Capri: We'll think about it..

Spencer: This gives me the idea. Capri, beat the eggs, Cain you can rest in the living room, and Brayden turn on the stove.

Capri cracks the amount of eggs and beats them with a whisk while Brayden turns on the stove and puts the pan on top to heat it up.

Spencer: I'll take care of the rest.

They both nodded as they left the kitchen as Spencer continued to prepare the things he needed before cooking.

∆After half an hour of cooking∆

Spencer: The food's ready!

The rest of the roommates went to the dining table to eat their meals.

Spencer: Eat well!

They all eat their meals peacefully before the rest except for Brayden (who will wash the dishes) packs their things early.

Capri grabbed her backpack and the luggage, while Cain grabbed his backpack and the bag and Spencer grabbed his luggage and suitcase.

They all got their things they needed, like clothes, grooming kit, passport (if needed), and important things they needed.

All of the three are prepared and wait for Brayden to pack his things.

They decided to watch random news on the TV to pass time.

∆After half an hour again∆

Brayden: Alright, I'm ready!

Brayden was holding his luggage and they went to the car that Capri rented and they put their things in the back of the car before they went inside the car.

Capri: Do we forget something?

Cain: The invitations!

Cain went out of the car and went inside the house and saw the invitations on the table and got them before going out.

Cain went inside the front seat holding the invitations.

Capri: How did we forget? Thanks Cain.

Cain smiles at his friend before looking at the window before Capri in the engine and drives to the airport.

It's not that bad for a vacation, right?
