Recap: In the previous chapter, the remaining contestants get to compete in the eighth challenge, which is presenting their own story by using their puppets. Striking Piledrivers has won, which breaks the Demolition Legends' winning streak, while Demolition Legends is up for elimination. Molly was eliminated by the tiebreaker by losing it to Marcel and Pierce, who are also in the tiebreaker since the three of them had 1 vote.

Rayna's POV

I woke up and everyone was awake and they were preparing themselves.

I'm not sure about whether I should prepare myself, but oh well, if I want to be there on time.

I decided to check if there were some things that I needed to bring for the next challenge. Turns out, I didn't need to bring anything except for the lucky charm that was given by my sister Beatrix before the time she was eliminated.

Guess I'll bring it with me since it meant a lot to me.

I went out and I guess it was on time as the others were chilling at the picnic table chatting about what challenge and other topics.

Rayna: So what did I miss?

Cain: You haven't missed anything yet. You're on time.

Rayna: Oh.

Capri: We have nothing to do other than have a chat with my friends here.

Rayna: Alright then.

I went to sit at a picnic table while waiting for the host to remind us if there was a challenge.

Then I saw Penny leaving two notes for each team for us to read.

Guess I have to read, since I'm not sure if it's for the challenge or not.

I went to another picnic table to read one of the notes that was related to my team.

Capri: So what does it say?

I read the note which was given by Penny.

(For those who are in the team Striking Piledrivers, go to the soccer field for the next challenge. This is for a good reason, so the other team won't snoop on what you're doing for the next challenge.

Rayna: Capri, should we look for the rest of our teammates before we go there? I'll be the one to show the note.

Capri: Are you going to stay here while I gather our teammates?

Rayna: Of course! Don't worry.

I watched Capri leave to look for her teammates before I stayed there to wait, which is fine.

End of Rayna's POV

After 5 minutes had passed by, Capri arrived at where Rayna was waiting with the remaining teammates.

Rayna: Is that everyone?

Capri: Yep, that's everyone.

The remaining contestants of Striking Piledrivers went to the exact location for the next challenge.

Pax is there waiting for them.

Pax: For your challenge, you have to look for the cause of death of this victim. Your time was over when you came to me at the picnic table with Bryon when you gave me the paper of your answer.

Bryon: And whoever got the right answer wins the challenge and the other team will be up for elimination.

Bryon and Pax went to the picnic table to take a break from their job by helping Pax's sister.

Some of the remaining members looked at the fake corpse of a plushie.

Rayna: Is that real?

Adrian: The corpse is not real, it's just a plushie, so don't worry.

Rayna: Oh.

Capri: So what do you think is the cause of death?

Adrian: Being stabbed in the gut.

Rayna: I mean it's possible.

Destiny: But what about the stain on the mouth?

Adrian: Poison? Probably poison?

Capri: Which kind of death is first?

Adrian: Not sure but if I have to pick the answer, well not for the final answer, probably stabbed in the guts.

Destiny: I don't think that's the cause of death, it's poison.

Adrian: Prove it.

Ollie: Huh, what's this?

Adrian: Give it to me! This had better be a hint!

Ollie: You don't have arms!

Adrian: Just show it to me.

Ollie shows Adrian the paper.

Hint: Which death is faster?

Adrian: I was right all along! We have to know which kind of death is faster.

Destiny: How?

Adrian: If you're going to get stabbed in the gut, I feel that blood loss is the cause of death.

Destiny: Wait really?

Adrian: I mean it! Poison is a slow death and blood loss can kill someone in more than 2 minutes.

Capri wrote the answer on paper and went to Pax.

Meanwhile, with Demolition Legends

The remaining teammates of Demolition Legends went to behind the cabin to meet Penny for the next challenge.

Penny: For the next challenge, you have to figure out what the cause of death is. The team with the correct answer wins the challenge and the other team will be up for elimination.

Some of the team members of Demolition Legends looked at the fake corpse of a plushie.

Marcel: Okay, that was fake.

Fallon: I know, but we have to do this for the challenge.

Marcel: Brynn, since you know a lot of things and do well in school, what is the cause of death?

Brynn looks at the fake corpse carefully and sees the skin of the doll was blue instead of the skin tone.

Brynn: I don't know if I should explain it, but if it's not the final answer, I'll go with drowning.

Marcel: Other possibilities?

Pierce: I feel like it's due to them being suffocated to death.

Brynn: If I see the marks on the neck part of the plushie, then that's an answer to this question.

Cain: You're actually right Bry.

Brynn: So drowning is the answer to this.

Pierce: No, it's suffocation!

Brynn and Pierce are fighting over the answer while Cain is trying to stop the two from fighting.

Marcel: Alright! Knock it off, will you?

Gauri: According to Brynn, he's right based on logic on how to drown.

Pierce: Wait what!?

Cain: What's this?

Cain picks up the note, which is a hint.

Cain: Guys, here is the hint-

Then they noticed that Marcel had decided to write the answer before going to Penny.

Cain: Hey! Wait!

Brynn: I'll give it to him.

Cain gave Brynn the note before Brynn runs to Marcel, but it's too late, since Penny got the paper that has the answer from their team.

Penny: Looks like you're done. Now I'm going to check on the other team.

She went to the soccer field to find Pax holding the paper while relaxing with Bryon.

Penny: Brother, are you done with the other team?

Pax: Yep, here is the paper, I'm going to spend time with my boyfriend here.

Bryon blushes at what Pax called him.

Penny takes the paper from Pax and goes back to all the remaining contestants.

Penny: Alright, time to see the answers to the cause of death.

Some of the remaining contestants are nervous and panicking about which team is safe.

Penny: For Striking Piledrivers, the cause of death is blood loss, which is a good one. For Demolition Legends, the cause of death is strangling.

Capri: Wait, so it's different for the other team?

Penny: Yep, but for the team who won this challenge it is going to be...

Penny looks at the answers from each team.

Penny: It's Striking Piledrivers once again! I didn't know that both of the teams were getting more competitive with each other and destroying each other's win streaks.

Marcel: So that means...

Penny: You guys are up for elimination once again. The answer here is close, but it's actually suffocation by the silver chemical.

Pierce + Brynn: We're both close to figuring out the answer...

Brynn went to Cain because he felt scared about elimination.

Brynn: My sun, I'm sorry if I didn't make it on time.

Cain gave Brynn a hug and a kiss.

Cain: It's okay Bry.

Penny: Viewers vote for one of the members of Demolition Legends to be eliminated. The contestant with the most votes will leave the show.
