Recap: In the previous chapter, the remaining contestants get to compete in the 17th challenge, which was Murder Mystery. Saylor took the victory by playing his role as a murderer. He chooses Fallon and Molly to be up for elimination and the rest are safe. Molly is eliminated by two votes, so she can rest from the competition and spend time with Marcel, Fallon, and Warren.

Fallon's POV

I woke up to see everyone, including Capri and Camila, sleeping even though it was early. I guess not everyone is an early bird. I got up before going to the cafeteria to eat something. 

While getting the food, I saw Marcel and Saylor talking about the next challenge. Maybe I should join them, since I don't want to miss it.

I got the food that was available for the morning before sitting with the two.

Marcel: Oh hello Fallon!

Fallon: Hello...

Saylor: So who's eliminated?

Fallon: Molly...

Saylor: Oh...

Fallon: I guess there are only five of us.

Marcel: Yeah. I'm sure that it will be different, since how do we get voted out?

Saylor: Is it every man and woman to themselves?

Fallon: It could be. I mean we're still in a merge, no longer a team or anything.

Marcel: I guess it's a wake-up call to do it alone instead of teaming up... it's a shame...

We finished eating our meals before going out to wait for the next challenge.

While sitting down on the bleachers, we saw Capri and Camila who ate their burritos that they made.

I wonder what kind of burrito they made. I know that it's homemade since I don't see any logos. Maybe next time when I ask them...

End of Fallon's POV

Penny arrives to the contestants by going to the bleachers.

Penny: Alright contestants, it's time for your next challenge. Follow me!

They followed her into the forest, and they arrived at the maze that was made of bush.

Marcel: A maze?

Fallon: So what are we going to do here?

Penny: It's simple. The challenge is to get to the other side of the maze by going inside.

Saylor: Huh, that was easy.

Penny: But there's a catch.

Marcel: Of course...

Capri: Well, what do we expect? Not every challenge is easy.

Penny: There are punching gloves that can come out of any part of the maze. And also there will be lasers that can trigger any kinds of traps. You guys should watch your step while going to the end of the maze.

Marcel: Of course, there are traps that can slow us down.

Penny: For the elimination, there's a change. Whoever made it to the exit last will be automatically eliminated.

Capri: *in her sarcastic voice* Now that's a game changer...

Saylor: I mean you're not wrong...

Penny: Okay, 3, 2, 1, GO!

They all went inside the maze to find the exit.

Meanwhile, with Marcel and Fallon

Marcel and Fallon are walking around the maze where they have to watch their steps to avoid the lasers.

Marcel: I think we should keep our guard up... we don't want to trigger the traps or get punched by a punching glove...

Fallon: You're right...

While continuing to walk, Fallon didn't notice the laser. Marcel noticed it quickly before grabbing her, and she didn't touch the laser.

Fallon: Huh!? What the- *sees the laser* Oh...

Marcel: I told you that you should be careful...

Fallon: Right... my bad...

They both continued to find the exit of the maze while avoiding the traps and punching gloves.

Meanwhile, with Saylor

Saylor walks alone inside the maze where he always encounters the dead end of the maze.

Saylor: Are you kidding me!? I've been here for too long...

While he continues to walk, he touches the laser while walking through it, which triggers the trap.

Saylor: *hears the alarm* Huh, what is that?

He got punched by a punching glove which sent him back to the start of the maze.

Saylor: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

He lands outside the entrance of the maze.

Saylor: Great... now I have to start over again...

He went back inside the maze before going to the exit.

Meanwhile, with Capri and Camila

Capri and Camila are walking around the maze while talking.

Capri: So I guess this is our only goal...

Camila: Yeah, all we have to do is to avoid any traps and we're good!

Capri: Alright...

They continued to walk around the maze where Camila almost tripped on a laser. Capri catches her on time.

Capri: Camila, are you okay?

Camila: Yeah...

They both saw the laser which they're relieved about not triggering a trap.

Capri: I guess we dodged a bullet...

Camila: Yeah... let's keep going...

They both continued to try finding the exit of the maze so they could be safe and move on.

After a few hours had passed, Capri and Camila made it first to the exit of the maze.

Penny: *turns on the megaphone* Capri and Camila are safe!

Camila: Phew... looks like we'll make it far together.

Capri: Yeah...

Penny: You can get some slushies from the fridge. There are some flavors to choose from!

They went to the fridge to get the slushies for the two of them. Then they got the juice to pour it inside the slushies before eating it.

Penny: Two more spots left!

Marcel and Fallon are near the exit. When they're about to exit the maze, Saylor runs by and goes out of the maze.

Penny: Saylor is safe! That means only one spot left!!!

Marcel: Oh no... Fallon, what are we going to do!?

Fallon was feeling unsure about what to say, since she knew that one of them would be eliminated automatically.

Fallon: Marcel, I made up my mind.

Marcel: What is it?

Fallon: You take the win since you deserve more than I do.

Marcel: Huh!? But why!?

Fallon: Marcel, winning the game means a lot to you more than me... plus, I know you will do anything since you're a better player. You earned it with your efforts, so exit the maze.

Marcel sighs before going out of the maze. He felt sad about Fallon being eliminated because she sacrificed her win for him.

Penny: Looks like Marcel took the last spot out of her sacrifice! That means it's the end for Fallon as she will be eliminated.

Marcel: *sighs* I guess I have to win for Fallon since she's one of my favorite teammates before the merge.

Fallon: *goes out of the maze* Marcel, you can do this to make it far, it's the end for me.

Marcel: *hugs Fallon* Okay... anything for my favorite teammate.

Fallon: I know you can do it. Good luck Marcel.

Marcel: Thank you...

All the remaining contestants go to the cabin to end the day since the elimination didn't happen.
