Recap: In the previous chapter, the remaining contestants get to compete in the 15th challenge where they have to say a shower thought, and they'll be judged based on how deep the thought was. Priya, Rayna, and Molly are up for elimination, and Priya is out of the game with 3 votes.

Marcel's POV

That was crazy...

Time flies quickly since we started the game with 20 of us.

And now I'm one of the final five contestants who are in the game.

Now what do I do when it's over? I mean, there's a lot for me to do aside from resting from the vacation with random people and getting to know each other.

I went around to check on everyone, since I wondered how they were doing during the final five.

I saw Capri, who was looking at the pond as usual. Is she alright after Priya is out of the game? It's not the first time that she's almost alone since her friends have also been eliminated.

Did her friends spend time with her after the challenge?

Why did I get concerned for not only my former teammates but also Adrian and Capri who is in the opposite team?

I guess I care for everyone here.

Except for Pierce since he's not just homophobic but also making fun of Colton for being a detective when he is a 1 star minimum wage chef.

I went to Capri and sat beside her.

Marcel: Are you alright?

Capri: Oh uh, about that, yeah, I'm alright.

Marcel: Why are you sitting here...?

Capri: To take my mind off the things that happened.

Marcel: Aside your friends' elimination?

Capri: There's more than that...

Marcel: What is it?

Capri: About the fact that Brayden got kidnapped by the two...

Marcel: I noticed that since Cain told me about it. Is that why you're scared?

Capri: I felt not only fear but also anger...

Marcel: Why is that?

Capri: I was worried about losing one of my friends just like I found out that one of my childhood friends had been missing for five years...

Marcel: Sorry to hear that...

Penny: Time for a challenge!

Marcel: Guess we should drop this for the challenge. We can talk about it later.

Capri: Alright then.

Capri and I went to the open area where Penny was waiting, along with one of my loyal teammates, Fallon, Rayna, and Molly.

End of Marcel's POV

Penny: Alright! Before the next challenge, we're going to the mine cart to ride to the outside of the cave.

Penny points at the mine cart before going inside the mine cart.

Marcel: But how are we going to fit in one mine cart? There are six of us!

Penny: There's another mine cart.

Marcel: Oh...

Penny went inside the minecart along with Fallon, Molly, and Rayna before Marcel pushed the minecart for them.

It went inside the cave while Capri got inside the minecart.

Marcel started pushing the minecart and got inside before it moved to the entrance of the cave and went inside.

Marcel: Holy shit-

Capri: Language.

Marcel: Sorry.

They continued to ride inside the minecart until they arrived at the end of the rail.

They get off the minecart to see Penny, Molly, Rayna, and Fallon waiting for the two.

Penny: For the next challenge, you guys will go one of the paths from here to get the ores from the list.

Penny gives them the list of ores.

They all looked at the list of ores before they kept it with them.

(Diamond Ore - 10 points
Ruby Ore - 7 points
Sapphire Ore - 5 points
Emerald Ore - 4 points
Gold Ore - 2 points
Iron Ore - 1 point)

Fallon: Why do we need to find these?

Penny: The challenge is simple. Mine in the cave for those ores to get more points based on the list. At the end of one night, that's the time I'll call you with the walkie-talkies that I'm going to give you. The two contestants with the lowest points will be up for elimination.

Penny gives the remaining contestants spare walkie-talkies.

Penny: And the equipment is there in the box in case.

The remaining contestants get their equipment like flashlights and pickaxes before they split up on a different route.

Meanwhile, with Rayna

Rayna was looking around the path and started mining the bunch of rocks.

She finished mining just to get gold.

Rayna: This isn't what I have in mind, but I'll take it.

Rayna puts the gold ore in her mine cart before she moves it with her, so she can find more.

She comes by the bunch of rocks which she has to hit with the pickaxe.

She got two gold ores, one ruby ore, and two coals.

Rayna: Is coal on the list?

She checks the list that was with her.

Rayna: I'll ditch the coals since I don't need them.

She put it in the mine cart before she met the dead end.

Rayna: Dang it.

Meanwhile, with Molly

Molly was looking around alone as well, since she was trying to look for the ores.

Molly: I don't know where to start... there's a lot to choose from... which rock should I mine first?

Molly: Maybe I should pick the rocks at the dead end. Nothing can go wrong, right?

She went to the rocks that are by the dead end to mine them.

When she finished mining, she got one diamond ore and two emeralds.

Molly: How much is it worth for points?

She checks the list to see how many points she has.

Molly: So I got about 18 points. Maybe I should continue to mine more of those to get more points.

Molly continues to find more, so she can be safe from elimination.

Marcel and Fallon are working together on their own path to find more ores, so they can be safe together.

Capri was not sure about working together but decides to do it alone anyway.

She went on the same path that Rayna went on earlier.

She saw the mine cart that was filled with a lot of gold ores, iron ores, and ruby ores.

Then she noticed Rayna running for her life from the bats that were chasing her while she dropped the flashlight.

Capri: Hey! You forgot the mine cart!

Rayna didn't say anything as she kept running.

Capri: Screw this...

Capri pushes the mine cart all the way back where Penny is waiting.

Penny: Is that yours?

Capri: Nope, that's Rayna's mine cart.

Rayna was staying away from the path that she had gone earlier since she felt safe there.

Capri: I'll be back to finding my own ores.

Capri went back to the path that she went on earlier to continue to get more ore with her effort. Even if it means getting attacked by a bunch of bats if she isn't careful.

After the night had passed by into morning, Penny looked at the pocket watch that she had carried with her all along.

Then she used the walkie-talkie to call the contestants.

The contestants count their ores to see if it's good enough before they go back.

They heard the buzz of their walkie-talkies.

Penny: Alright contestants! Time's up! Time to meet up at a safe place!

All the remaining contestants except for Rayna (who is still staying with Penny since she's traumatized by the bats) go back to Penny while bringing their mine carts.

Penny: Alright contestants, time to count on how many ores you guys collected.

Penny starts counting the ores from each mine cart, then the points are based on how much they are worth.

After a bit of counting and writing down their scores, Penny decides to show them.

Penny: And here is the result.

(Marcel - 21 points {2 sapphire ores, 2 emerald ores, 1 gold ores, and 1 iron ores}
Rayna - 22 points {4 gold ores and 2 ruby ores}
Molly - 23 points {1 diamond ore, 1 sapphire ore, and 2 emerald ores}
Capri - 25 points {1 diamond ore, 2 sapphire ores, and 5 iron ores}
Fallon - 29 points {2 diamond ores, 1 ruby ore, and 1 gold ore}

The score will be lowest to highest)

Penny: Since Fallon has a high score than Capri's score, she gets a prize!

Penny: The prize is a bunch of customized uno cards!

Penny gave Fallon the box. Fallon opens the box to check on what she said about customized cards.

Inside, there is a set of customized uno cards. There are drawings of not just her in her object form but also everyone that competed alongside her.

There is even a drawing of the host and the co-host.

Fallon: It looks great! I'll keep it to not just play with it but also treasure it!

Penny: That's sweet!

Marcel: So who's up for elimination?

Penny: You and Rayna are up for elimination while the girls are safe from elimination.

Fallon: Marcel, I wish I could give you the diamond ores, so you could win if I lose it...

Marcel: It's okay, you deserve to be not just by my side, but also to be safe from elimination.

Penny: Viewers vote for one of the contestants to be eliminated. The contestant with the most votes will leave the show.
