Battle Cries.
Then darkness.
What about this darkness? Why now? Why here? He could not see him anymore. But why? He did it for him! He did it for their unity. He understood that he had understood him well. Words fail though. His sleeves wrapped around his wrists with a steady grip reminding him that the more he stood there in that same spot the worse it would all become. His lips remained chapped against the constant moisture from his tongue, and the thoughts he assumed to never have blared out to him. God she was gorgeous. But seeing her made him realize of how beautiful he was in his own two dilated pupils.
"Truth be told I think I will be okay. I don't want to turn around and look at the truth."
He was loosing it with every meter that was added between their distance. He didn't even get to listen to him. Now the umbrella he had used was behind back there and his sweater was the only source of pre-security. Now it was drenched. If he could just reach out to him and apologize.. that's all he truly wanted to hear. He'll leave it to the rambling, meddling, destructive heart of his. If it could just stop feeling...
Stupid love.
What do we want to say about it? It kills us, yet it mends us at the appropriate times. Makes us strong yet we become broken down. Bypass the outcast. Sort of like that if you think of it. Makes us loose the little sanity we have while attempting to hold on to ourselves.
He kept feeling his heart vigorously thump with every heavy step that was grounded on the floor. He had forgotten how nice it was to actually run under the saddened presence of the sky; drenching every human out there. Just like the ovary of a flower without the needed nutrients, all he felt was himself crumbling even more as his weak, pale body started to become heavy. He could barely keep himself up as he took another step before he was tumbling down.
