Bruce confined himself to his room for over a month doing nothing the weight of losing Jason hit him harder than he thought. Alfred would come in a give him food and water but slowly he just did not seem like himself. He let his hair grow out and crime in the city was back to how it was when Batman was not there to help.

"Bruce I think it is time you get up. " Said Alfred as he sat down next to Bruce's bed and looked down at him.

"I don't want to Alfred, I have lost him I promised him I would protect him but know look at him Alfred. Where is he hu? Where is he?" Said Bruce as he hopped up out of his bed and walked to the window.

"I don't know sir. But all I do know is that you need to get back out there. Gotham needs you Bruce, I need you." Said Alfred as Bruce stared out in the distance.

"There is not much I can do like this Alfred, I don't have the heart for this not any more." Said Bruce as he walked on out of his room.

"The loss of one you love is hard but you need to bounce back Bruce." Said Alfred.

"I didn't love him, I just..." Bruce tried saying something else but in his heart he knew that he loved Jason even if he did show it.

"Well then, get off your but and do something help Gotham and help yourself." Said Alfred pushing Bruce to get back into the suit.

Bruce said nothing else he headed down to the bat cave and walked on over to his suit. He opened the cabinet but there was nothing in there.

"Where is my suit Alfred?" Asked Bruce as Alfred walked up behind him.

"Mr. Fox has made some improvements." Said Alfred as he pulled a large switch turning on more lights.

"Wow, he really out did himself." Said Bruce as he walked over to a three glass cases each with a different bat suit.

The whole bat cave had been given a major upgrade, the computers where more organized there was less stuff around. All of Bruce's training items where on shelves along with his gadgets. The bat mobile was a little different having bigger tiers.

 "Try it out." Said Alfred as he pointed out the new suit.

"What is the difference in the suit?" Asked Bruce as he looked at the new suit.

"Made of a more flexible Kevlar material, it will make you faster but more vulnerable to guns and knifes." Said Alfred as Bruce put on the new suit.

"It definitely feels lighter." Said Bruce as he walked on over to the bat mobile.

Bruce hopped on in and looked around inside a little more space and a new dashboard. Bruce fired up the engines and headed on out. In the middle of the day bringing out the bat mobile not the best choice but he wanted to get back into the seat.

"Alfred have anything for me?" Asked Bruce as Alfred appeared on his dash board. "Lucius really out did him self."

"Yes he did, there is a bank robbery at Fourth and Eighth." Said Alfred.

"Well it looks like they wont be for long." Said Bruce as Alfred disappeared from his dashboard.

Bruce sped up giving the full speed of the new tiers hitting sixty in five seconds. The streets where pretty much empty there was not much he had to worry about in the out skirts of Gotham. Bruce turned the car sharp and jumped on out gliding a little and landing in front of the bank.

"Time to have some fun." Said Bruce as lowered his voice.

Batman walked on into the bank to find only two gun men wearing hokey masks to hide there face.

"You aren't suppose to be here." Said one of the robbers as he shook his body aiming the gun at Batman.

"You really want to try this? There is four of us and only one of you." Said the other man as two more men walked on into the room dropping the money on the ground.

Batman did nothing just stood there staring. Then he dropped a smoke bomb blinding the robbers and giving him time to attack. Batman grabbed the gun of the first guy and hit him in the head with it knocking him to the ground.

"Where is he?" Yelled out one of the robbers as the smoke slowly started to fade. 

Batman jumped the last three taking there guns as the last of the smoke disappeared. They all stood there staring at Batman.

"You first." Said one of the robbers as he shoved one another forwards.

He looked scared but yet he still tried, pulling back he threw a punch. Batman grabbed his hand and twisted it around braking his arm. Batman kicked him in the face and then punched him knocking him out.

"Get him!" Yelled out the robber as the last two came running Batman.

Batman weaved around punching at there stomachs slowly knocking the wind out of them both. Then one fell to his knees losing his breath. Batman grabbed his face and shoved to the ground hitting him hard.

"I am the last one." Said the last robber as he tried to hit Batman in the back.

Batman grabbed his hand and pulled him over his back and smashed him to the ground hitting his face knocking him out.

"I'm back." Said Batman as he walked on out of the bank and hopped on into the bat mobile jut as the cops came.
