Bruce drove off in the bat mobile the day was rising he did not have to much time to make it to the jewelry story. Bruce made it to find there to be nobody at the store and a perfect circle cut through the glass door. Bruce walked inside and looked around for clues there was not much to go off of. Then he found something that was unexpected, only the diamond necklaces where stolen, why not take the rings as well?

"Go figure you would be here." Said Gordon as Batman turned around to see Gordon putting his gun away. "Any idea who did this?" Asked Gordon as he looked around the scene.

"Not yet, they swiped all of the necklaces and left no finger prints. The cameras where sliced with what looks like a whip of some sort." Said Batman as he pointed out the cameras.

Then Batman felt something he looked up on the top of a building to see someone or something jumping from roof top to roof top. Batman rushed out the door giving Gordon a light shove as he grappled up the roof and started to chase down the person.

They where dressed in all black and had what looked like cat ears on the top of there head. Batman kept up the chase but was not able to keep up with the speed of the runner. Batman jumped down to another roof and started to run roof by roof next to the person. Then they jumped landing a few feet away from Batman enough that he was able to grapple the thief and hold them for a second.

"I am going to need to take you in." Said Batman as he walked closer to the person.

"Well if you are be sure to be careful with my claws I don't want them to get scratched." Said a women as Batman looked to see it was just someone in a cat costume.

Batman took no attention to her words and started to walk he towards the fire escape. Then he felt a light puncture on his chest as the wire he had wrapped around her cut lose and she kicked Batman backwards, running off again.

"Dam it." Said Batman as he gave chase again.

This time she a lot more distance between them and Batman could not keep up his armor was slowing him down. Then he lost the woman she was gone, Batman walked back to where he caught her and found a small diamond on the ground must of dropped it in the hurry. Batman glided back down to Gordon.

"So did you catch them?" Gordon asked as he stood next to his car.

"I did, but she got away." Said Batman as he climbed into his car.

"Where are you going then? Shouldn't you be trying to catch her?" Asked Gordon.

"I am." Said Batman as he drove off.

Bruce got back to the bat cave right as the sun came up over Gotham City. He drove right through the water fall and parked the car back in its normal spot. Bruce hopped out of the car and ran over to run an analysis on the diamond and woman he had meet last night. Alfred walked down the steps and looked at Bruce who had not really talked to Alfred in a few days.

"Master Wayne you have a guest." Said Alfred.

"It is probably just the board wanting my to sign some papers to give Wayne Enterprises to some dumb hobo." Said Bruce as Alfred noticed the anger in his tone.

"No it is not the board, it is a kid he said that you saved his life and came to thank you." Said Alfred.

Bruce had a small memory of helping a kid when he came back and then remembered leaving him alone. Bruce had thought in that moment what had happened to the kid was he okay or was he not. Bruce got out of his chair and quickly changed out of his suit. He walked up stairs and the kid was just standing inside the door way waiting patiently.

"What do you want kid?" Asked Bruce still having a little anger in his tone.

"Um... I wanted to say thank you for saving me a few days back, and that..." Started the kid as he sort of trailer off.

"And that what?" Asked Bruce still not changing his tone.

"I know that you are Batman!" The kid yelped out.
