At the middle of the night and at the alleyway we see Batman fighting a bunch of criminals. He beats them up and soon he knocks out the last criminal and once down he looks over to the garage and walks over.

He hack the door then the garage door open to reveal crates. Batman walks in and looks at all the crates then he opens one crate to see high tech Militech weapons.

Batman: Militech. Seems like they have been busy.

Bruce: (coms) They wouldn't do all of this unless for a reason.

Batman: Probably they were hired?

Bruce: (coms) Yes but the question is who?

Then Batman hear noises outside and turn to see one criminal slowly getting up. He make his way to a bat and once he grabs it he turns around and Batman was right in front of him.

He then swing his bat at him but Batman catches it and breaks it in half. He then grabs the criminal by the neck and slamming him against the wall.

Batman: Who hired you!? I want a name!

Male criminal: Fuck off freak!

Batman punches him in the stomach then slam him as he barks at him.

Batman: The Militech crates! You stole them for someone right?! Give me a name now! Or I'll fry you.

Male criminal: You ain't shit.

Batman stare directly at him which made the criminal to think he's gonna do it so he immediately caved in.

Male criminal: Okay, okay! We were hired to steal the crates and deliver them to our client.

Batman: Give me a name!

Male criminal: I-I don't know.

Batman slam him once more to which the criminal tells him.

Male criminal: It's the truth! He didn't tell us who he is other than he is insane. My guys told me who he's seriously psychopathic.

Batman: What does he look like.

Male criminal: He mostly hide his appearance with a hood over him but I know someone who may know who he is. Royce.....Royce from the Maelstromer.

Batman: Why him?

Male criminal: He personally met Royce for a deal and when he try to intimate him he killed one of his members just to show he's someone to not fuck with.

Batman: How do you get this information?

Male criminal: A friend from Maelstromer told me. He said he saw the whole thing. Is that enough for you?

Batman:....Yes now good night.

He slam him on the wall one last time and once that the criminals falls unconscious while Batman contacts Bruce.

Batman: You got all of that?

Bruce: (coms) Yeah, guessing your going there?

Batman: Yeah.

Bruce: (coms) I'll standby if you need any assistance.

Batman: Copy.

Then Batman fires a grappling hook and zips away to the Maelstromer base.

(Later)

At the Maelstromers base we see the place in highly secured with mines set up as well as turrets. We then cut to Royce taking some smokes then he walks over to his couch and then sat down.

Before he can enjoy himself he suddenly felt unease. Then Batman appear behind him and suddenly Royce's body gets stunned. He couldn't move while Batman show himself by walking around the couch.

Batman: Royce. You have something I need.

Royce: Who are you? Another freak?!

Batman: Guess you met your previous guest.

Royce: The fuck you want?!

Batman: You're going to tell me on who this other freak is and you're going to tell me now.

Royce: Why? You wanna kill him?

Batman: I don't kill.

Royce: Bullshit!

Batman then walks over, lifted up his hand and break his one finger which he groans in pain.

Batman: I can do far worse that you wish you are dead. Now talk.

Royce: Aahhh fuck you!

He breaks his other finger which he groans louder then he breaks.

Royce: Jesus fuck fine, fine! I'll talk!

Batman moves back while Royce begins to chat.

Royce: Before you came this guy walked in with two of his own gang that were wearing green skull like masks ans wearing heavy armor. I thought they were corpo but they're not.

Batman: What makes you think they are not corpo?

Royce: I'm not sure what he is. All I know is their boss is a total freak. He was giving off this green glow and when he lifted up his head, his entire face is a skull. No flesh, no eyes, no lips, nothing but green skulls. At first I thought it was some fucking outfit but his jaw moved and his eyes....well eye socket move. Its like that is his face.

Y/n: Why did he came here?

Royce: He wants to know someone. He told me he is looking someone very important to his "plan." When one of my fucking idiots try to intimate him...Well that happen.

Batman loos over to see the dead crops of his men. He turn back to Royce and ask him.

Batman: Who is he looking for?

Royce: A netrunner. Not just a netrunner but the one that was tested by Arasaka since they were children. Many netrunnee children were killed accept for one.

Batman: Whose this Netrunner?

Royce: He didn't say but he told me her last name. Kushinada.

Batman: One last thing. This freak....what's his name?

Royce:......His name is Blight. Gonna be honest with you. We may see you as a freak......but this Blight guy.....he's a monster.

Suddenly alarms gone off and seconds later a wall near them burst open with a loud shriek as Batman dodges the debris then looks over to see an armor person stepping out of the whole and sees Batman.

Shriek: I finally found you Batman.

Batman: Who are you?

Shriek: Call me Shriek. I'm hired to kill you!

He blast Batman back and he was sent crashing through a wall and lands onto the garage. Shriek leaps onto of the hole and tries blasting Batman but he rolled out od the way and throws Batarangs at him.

Shriek sent out a sonic Shriek that froze the Batarangs in the air and they blow up. Seeing this Batman throws a smoke bomb and disappear from sight.

Shriek: Come out, come out where ever you are.

Batman throws another smoke bomb at Shriek then glides down and kicks him in the face. Shriek fires a sonic Shriek at him but he avoids the attack then punches him in the face once more.

She stumble back but he grabs a nearby fuel can and throws it at Batman. He then fires his sonic Shriek which cost it to explode but Batman covers the attack and then Shriek rush at him and tackle him.

He then pinned him to the ground and place his hand over his face and blasted a powerful sonic shriek in hopes to kill him.

Batman can't handle this so he pulls out a explosion gale and sprays it near him then detonate it. The blast sent Shriek off him then Batman gets up and kicks him in the face.

While in the air he pulls out his Batarang and cuts a hanging lamp and slams it onto Shrieks head. Shriek stumble back then Batman lands a few punches then he takes him down with a headbutted that knocks out Shriek.

He collapse onto the ground and once down Batman grabs him and escapes before Royce ans his gang would found him.

(Later)

After dropping off Shriek to the police we see Y/n with Bruce at his tower as Y/n sat on the couch and still having the effects of Shrieks attack as his ears keep ringing.

Y/n: I'm guessing Shriek is hired by someone else.

Bruce: Possible Arasaka. Which means there might be more mercy coning for your head.

Y/n: Sorry can't hear you probably.

Bruce: Just stay here for now. I'll look up anyone with Kushinada as their last name.

Y/n: Can't really hear what you are saying but just gonna say alright.

He then pulls out his phone and sent a text to Stephanie that he'll be late home soon. Aftee he sent Stephanie sent him a thumps up along with a winky face.

He smiled and lays back and gets some sleep while Bruce gets to work.

(Meanwhile)

Somewhere at Night City we see a group of heavily armed men hanging around at the sewers while their boss sat on a chair with an Arasaka employee sat tired up in front of him with his mouth covered. He then gets up and tells his men.

???: Listen up people. For so long we allow megacorps like Arasaka sat on the thrones of Kings for too long! Time for a new king to take over. Time for me to become the king of Night City.

He then places his hand on an Arasaka employee as he then begins to melt his head as the employee begins to scream but his mouth is covered so it was muffled.

He melt his hand through his head until he stop screaming and then he took out his brain and lifted it up in the air.

???: In order for me to be a king, we need to eliminate our biggest competition which is Arasaka myself!

He then pulls down his hood to reveal his skull like appears as he then completely squeezes the brain which exploded out of his hand as Blight goes on to say.

Blight: Night City and everyone will be mine for the taking. We all can make our own legends but we will go beyond! Johnny Silverhand and Adam Smasher will be nothing compared to what we will do! Once Arasaka is overthrown! We'll be the greatest legends that the world has ever seen!

His men all cheered while Blight opens his hands, letting them all cheer as he begins laughing like a insane person. The cheers as well as Blights laughter echos throughout the sewer tunnels as it soon pan out to Night City, soon Night City will be ruled by Blight himself and he'll be the greatest and most powerful legend that the world will ever seen.
