Bruce Wayne notices that the liquid in the test tube is the exact same color as joker gas. Bruce Wayne puts the test tube in one of the pockets on his utility belt and quickly sneaks out of the Ace Chemicals building. Bruce Wayne gets in the driver's seat of the batmobile and drives back to the batcave. The next day. Bruce Wayne is down in the batcave. Bruce Wayne is sitting at the bat computer. Bruce Wayne suddenly experiences a strange vision. The strange vision shows a mysterious man wearing a brown fedora hat, a white mask that has what appears to be a Rorschach test on the front of it, a plain white scarf, a brown trench coat, purple pants, and a pair of brown shoes. The mysterious man says you can call me Rorschach... A few years from now you will meet a man who is somewhat like me.

The mysterious man says he calls himself Question. The mysterious man says he's basically your Earth version of me, I'm from a version of Earth where the justice league doesn't exist and where you never grew up to become Batman because your parents were never murdered.

The mysterious man says on my Earth I was destroyed by a hero called Doctor Manhattan. The mysterious man shows Bruce Wayne how he died.

The mysterious man says Question is a private eye. The strange vision suddenly ends.
