Abe's PoV

"New Batman gets a girlfriend" I read allowed showing the paper to Ben. "Where do reporters even get this?"

"I don't know"  Ben said.  "Maybe because he saved her three times this month"

"Still I don't like it" I set down the paper and forced myself to eat.  "I mean, what if someone found out, no what if someone thought to actually use this information"

Ben sat down the coffee cup, pouring the coffee.  "Dose that mean you've changed your mind about speaking with Damian Nygma that afternoon?"

"No, I haven't" I took a sip of coffee, flipping threw the pages of paper, "Oh great."

"The paper's got word of what happened to Professor Strange"

"Are you any closer to catching the person who's responsible?"

"In all honesty I know who it is, I just don't want to talk to him" I gave Ben a look hopping he could pick it up without me having to say his name.  Thankfully he got it, giving me a slight nod.

"Hopefully your day is uneventful he said handing over my coat.

"I hope so too"

"Wayde" I look up face to face with the captain.

"Yes?" I asked setting down the file I had been reading.

"Have you finished up the Strange case?" she asked.

"Not exactly, I have an idea of a suspect however talking to him is" I took a breath shaking my head "well not an easy task"

"The paper's already onto you, you have until the end of the week to close this case. I don't care how hard he is to talk to, you can always have someone go in your place if you think you can't."

I shook my head again "I'll do it first thing tomorrow, I'm sorry I'm meeting with an olf friend ina few hours"

"i don't care about the fine details, just close this case by the end of the week" she walked away from my desk and I was met with a slight feeling of dread. I looked back to the fine on my desk. Batman has Returned to Gotham

I finished writing down my notes, and got ready to go home.  I had to meet with Damian.  Then tomorrow I had to speak with my suspect.
