it was a beautiful thursday afternoon. the sun was shining, the wind was slightly blowing, but oh minyoung really needed to pee. she was currently seated at her desk, legs crossed as her feet kept doing mini bounces. minyoung's lips were pressed in a thin line and her eyebrows were knitted together. she knew she shouldn't have drank that venti iced caramel latte that choi seunghee, one of her best friends, had gotten her from starbucks because now, she really regretted it.

minyoung had two fears in this school: the girls' public restroom and her math teacher, mr. lee. it's not that minyoung was bad at math, no, she was actually really good at it. it's just that mr. lee was extremely strict when it comes to schoolwork, but that's not  important right now.

despite minyoung's two greatest fears in this school, she raises her hand.

"question, oh minyoung?" mr. lee asks.

"may i use the restroom, please?" minyoung says, a bit too quickly.

"make it quick."

and with that, the 17 year old girl runs out the classroom door and into the girls' restroom she goes.

minyoung quickly locks one of the stalls and, well, urinates. after relieving her bladder from all that liquid, she gets cleaned up and pulls up her skirt. minyoung sees something: slightly faded handwriting on the stall that she's currently in.

minyoung ignores it, exiting the stall to wash her hands before rushing back to class.

"you can't just have two crushes, jisun! pick one!" seunghee pinches the bridge of her nose, getting frustrated at the slightly younger girl. "it's either min yoongi, or jung hoseok!"

"i can't, seunghee. i just can't." jisun whines.

"what do you mean you 'can't?'" minyoung chuckles.

"i love them both."

song jisun, minyoung's other best friend. minyoung really only has two (best) friends. the three girls met in freshman year when they all got assigned to write an essay on the silla war or something like that. they worked together and passed the assignment, their history teacher giving them a whooping 98%. after that, the trio has stuck together.

"i just wish one of them would date me already." jisun sighs, sipping on her apple juice box.

"then make a move," minyoung says to the older girl. "you need to confess, or at least catch his attention somehow."

seunghee rolls her eyes, "okay, but, to who?"

"hoseok."

"but i love yoongi!" jisun whines again.

"then yoongi!"

"but i love hoseok!"

"for fucks sake, jisun!" seunghee groans. "stop being so fucking annoying, damn!"

"why are you yelling at me?" jisun replies, clearly sad and offended.

"because you're not making up your mind."

"you wouldn't understand the struggle, seunghee!" jisun shouts, loud enough for the students at the other table to turn their heads in their direction.

"what are you so loud for?" minyoung asks, finishing up the rest of her mashed potatoes.

"i wasn't loud."

"yeah, okay." seunghee scoffs.

"i'm serious!"

seunghee rolls her eyes, "alright! now, please, be quiet."

"can i come over?" jisun asks as the trio walk outside the school.

"sure!" seunghee nods her head. "it's been a while since we all hung out anyway."

"oh, minyoung is coming too?"

"bitch," minyoung begins. "of course i'm coming. seunghee and i were already on planning on chilling together anyway."

"you weren't gonna invite me?"

"yes, we were." seunghee swings her arm around jisun.

"you better." jisun moves her fringe away from her eyes.

"just a second guys." minyoung stops walking, getting her phone from her pocket and answering the incoming call. "hello?"

seunghee and jisun watched the younger girl talk, examining her facial expressions.

"scoops got stuck? again?" minyoung groans, pinching the bridge of her nose. "alright, i'll be right there."

"who the hell is scoops?" jisun snorts.

"minyoung's guinea pig!" seunghee replies, a bit too loud. "is he okay?!"

minyoung shrugs, "i don't know, but we'll have to cancel our plans for today."

"damnit, it's always your ugly-ass rat ruining our days."

"jisun!" seunghee punches jisun's arm, attempting to hurt her, but ends up hurting herself.

jisun scoffs, "idiot."
