It was several days after Barbara had officially met Superman. And several days before, a bomb went off in the senate house with Superman. During that night, she decided to take the night off from being Batgirl, and decided to hang out with Dr. Woof instead. She was on the couch, and Dr. Woof was sitting next to her, and she was eating ice cream. "I feel so torn apart Dr. Woof," said Barbara as she ate a spoonful. "Why's that Barbara?" asked Dr. Woof.  "I've always looked up to Bruce for a long time. But now after meeting Superman, I'm not so sure..." she said. Dr. Woof nodded, listening. "I mean, Superman doesn't seem like a bad person at all." said Barbara, "he's actually nice, and I feel like I can trust him. I just don't know... and I don't want Bruce to fight him." She then looked at the news regarding the senate bombing with Superman, and sighed sadly. Some of the more cynical reporters were blaming Superman. She turned the TV off in disgust.

"Perhaps you could knock some sense into him," suggested Dr. Woof. "Yeah, maybe," said Barbara. "Just give it time Barbara," said Dr. Woof, "it'll get better, trust me." Barbara smiled and rubbed Dr. Woof's chin. Meanwhile, in Metropolis, Superman was confronting Lex Luthor for the first time.

Lex found out all he needed to know regarding Superman, using everything against him. He kidnapped his adoptive mother, Martha Kent, threatening to kill her if he did not fight Batman and kill him. Superman had no choice unfortunately. A personal jet then flew by, letting Lex in. "Better hurry Big Blue," he taunted, "there isn't much time for dear old Martha. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go to Slaughter Swamp!" The jet closed and flew off. Meanwhile, Barbara then got a call from her computer. "That's strange, I'm not usually contacted by my Oracle computer," she said as she then put on her mic ear piece, "Hello?"

"Barbara, it's Alfred," the butler said on her ear piece. "Hello Alfred," said Barbara, "is something wrong?"

"As a matter of fact, there is," said Alfred, "Master Bruce has stolen the Kryptonite from LexCorp, has created several weapons from the rock, and created a body armor-suit. He's going to fight Superman." Barbara gave a look of dread. "Oh no..." she said. "Look outside," he said. Barbara looked outside her Clock Tower, and saw the Bat Signal lighting the sky. "Now, I believe you can stop Master Bruce from doing this suicide mission," said Alfred. "Don't worry, I will," she said, "Batgirl out." She then hung up, looked at Dr. Woof, and said, "Time to suit up." She then put on her Batgirl suit, ready. "Need a ride?" asked Dr. Woof. Batgirl nodded. Dr. Woof got out his Sonic Screwdriver, pressed the button, and out came the TARDIS. Dr. Woof and Batgirl got into the TARDIS, the spaceship disappearing from the tower, ready to confront Batman and Superman.
