Batman V Superman

Batman was in his armored suit, waiting for Superman. Then, there he was, the Man of Steel himself. He was up above, and then landed down. "Well, here I am," Batman said in his low altered voice. "Bruce, please," Superman said, trying to reason with him, "I was wrong, you have to listen to me! Lex wants me-" Before he could finish, he stepped on a button that emitted two high pitched screeching sonic sound waves, irritating him so badly, he gripped his head. He then got a manhole from down below, split it two, and destroyed the source of the sound. "You don't understand," Superman said, trying to regain his composure, "There's no time!" Before Batman could get up close in Superman's face to yell at him, suddenly the TARDIS appeared, hovering above the two men. Batman and Superman both looked up at the TARDIS, confusing them both. The door opened, and Batgirl came out of the TARDIS, landing on the ground, then stood back up. She glared at Batman and Superman and said, "You both need to stop fighting right now!"

"Batgirl, stay out of this," growled Batman as he glared at her. "No Bruce, you listen to me!" said Batgirl, "Superman is not the enemy, he is not a threat! Please, don't do this!"

"I don't have a choice," argued Batman. "Yes you do Bruce," said Superman. "He's right," said Batgirl, "Please Bruce, you mean a lot to me. You can't fight Superman, you could get killed! Please, I don't want to lose you like we lost Jason." There were tears in her eyes. Batman looked at her and realized she was right. He then sighed and looked at Batgirl. "Alright Barbara..." he said. "Now, I believe you wanted to tell us something?" asked Batgirl.

"Lex has kidnapped my mother," explained Superman, "and he was going to have his men kill her unless I fought you. But I don't want to kill you Bruce, because I know you can help me. Please Bruce, she's the only family I have left." Batman looked at Superman and realized that this Kryptonian was far more human than he realized. Batman knew that he needed to quit judging others, because if anything, he knew that Barbara saw good in both him and Superman. "I'm going to make you a promise," said Batman, "your mother won't die tonight Superman."

"Call me Clark," replied Superman. "Okay Clark," said Batman, "where's Luthor headed?"

"Slaughter Swamp," said Superman. "That's right near Gotham!" said Batgirl, "I got a source up here that says he has this book about dark magic." When she said up here, she pointed up at The TARDIS. "Dark Magic? Oh boy," Superman said non-excitedly "Meet you there in case?" asked Batman. "That'd be nice," said Superman as he flew off. Batgirl looked at Batman and said, "Care for a ride?"
