Dick groaned, and cracked his eyes open. wait. this wasn't his room. right now, all he could see was the silver bars of a cage, and... was he at a dock? yeah, from the looks of it he was in a cage. There were other cages around him maybe three and he heard the sloshing of the water behind the cage. 

He attempted to get up on his two legs, but fell back to the cage floor. 

"Help" Dick called. 

But all that came through his lips was a distressed yelp. 

Wait. 

That wasn't right either. 

Slowly he looked down to his body and terror seeped through the pit in his stomach. 

All he saw was a body that wasn't his. 

He was a monkey. like a lemur. 

He had the little black spots of fur surrounding his eyes, creating a mask of grey fur around his face. Accompanying that was black rings around his tail. 

Dick moved his little paws up to his face, and fell back on his butt. The last thing he remembered was getting a shot injected to into his blood stream.

Maybe his brothers were there. "Jason, Tim, Damian. Are you there?" Dick yelled.

Under him there was a rustle, and a "What the hell?" that voice sounded familiar, it was Jason. 

Dick peeked through a whole on the bottom part of the cage. he saw just enough to make out Jason, or what was Jason. 

Thank god Lemurs have better eye sight than humans.

 "Dick?" Jason called, completely mortified. 

Why, do you ask was he was Mortified? 

The new Jason Todd, now had a big canine body, with brown and black fur, and a snout that extended and fluffy ears. 

Not to mention the ginger color of where his domino mask (under his helmet.) should have been. Also, a little white scruff of fur on his head.

"Im a fucking German Shepard." He growled angrily.

 "Jay, i'm here." Dick obviously scared Jason, because the dog yelped, jumping back.

That made Dicks cage tip over, and crash to the ground next to Jason's. "owe." Dick moaned, getting back up to all fours. "That is gonna leave a bruise." 

"Dick, is that you?" Jason squinted, then burst into barks of laughter.

 "What bad luck, your a monkey!" He continued Laughing. 

"Guys?" called a voice from a cage next to Jason.

 "Tim, that you?" Jason asked. 

"Yeah? wait... why am i furry. Oh god." Tim yelped horrified. "Im a fox!" 

The sound of a cage screeching agents concrete was heard, and Tim came into view. "This is hard to move, i think their is another cage above me."

Tim had the regular fox coat, but around his eyes was the black marking of a domino mask in black and a little white, He flicked his tail.

 "Who are you?" He asked. "What am i?" .

"An animal, and a scrawny one at that." Jason chuckled.

 "We will find a way out of here, whats on top of you?" Dick asked.

 "Like i said, i think theirs another cage." Tim pointed his tail up.

"Yes Drake, there is another cage up here." Came a growl from above them. 

"Dami?" Dick called out. 

"Who else would it be." He growled again. 

"What are you? please tell me your human so you can get us out of here?" Tim asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"No" was his reply. "I cannot tell exactly what i am, it is too dark." Damian said.

"Step into the light a little." Jason ordered. 

Damian did. He had a fur coat that was all grey, and black leopard prints spotted over the grey. "Your a clouded leopard." Dick told him.

 "How did we even get here?" Tim questioned.

 "Last i remembered, we were taking down some thugs, and they shot me with some kind of liquid." Jason explained.

 "Same with me." Tim agreed.

"They must have turned us into these." Dick concluded.

"Their thugs, they will probably be back." Tim warned.

"We shall escape then." Damian stated simply.

 "Dick, your lock is smashed, so if Jason can tip your cage over. Then you should be out of there. And you can free us." Tim told his brothers the plan.

Jason reared back on his paws, and jumped to the other side of his cage. The force made it tip over. That made Dicks cage thump over.

 Dick carefully nudged the door, opening it. 

He made his way to Jason's cage, his little monkey hands worked on the locks. Finally, it came open with a screech. 

Jason jumped out, and shook.

Voices were heard from around the corner. "They have to be awake by now, we have to give them more sedatives, and ship them away."  One voice instructed. 

Jason sprinted the best he could with four legs, back to Tim's cage.

 Dick was picking the lock. "Got it" he hissed, as Tim trotted out. 

"Hey! theyre getting away!" One shouted, pointing his gun at the animals. 

One of the thugs fired, missing the brothers, and hitting Damian's cage. 

His cage tumbled to the ground, Damian roughly being thrown around inside it.

Jason ran up to the guy, and snatched the gun with his canine teeth, crunching it into pieces. 

Damian got up inside of the cage, shaking himself off. 

The movement made the cage topple over even more, and fall right into the freezing cold water. 

"Jason! get him. Me and Dick will hold them off, and after that we will run." Tim yelled. 

Jason plunged into the water, after the feline without a second thought. 

"What are we gonna do to defend? Last time I checked, we don't have dangourus claws." Dick exagurated. 

 " Easy, we lead them to a trap, and keep running. Like this. " A man ran up to tim, Tim dodged the thug making the man trip and fall in the water.

 "Nice." The leamur congratulatied. As he ran the opposite of where the Fox was going so they could have less thugs on their tails. ( see what I did there?) 

Jason resurfaced with Damian's scruff in his jaws as he paddled them to the dock.

 He jumped out of the freezing currents and shook himself. "Your heavier than you look." The German Shepard grunted. 

The fur ball in the dock only growled in response, staying on the ground. 

 "I hate water. " He hacked up the water. 

"Stay there, we'll probably get hypothermia but screw it." Jason barked a laugh.

 "Not you runts! " a man screamed. 

It came from the water. 

The two animals looked that way, a man came out of the water. Drenched from head to toe. 

 "What're you gonna do?" Jason taunted. Probably sounded like a bark to the human. 

The man grabbed both of the slowed animals, and dragged them in the water with him.

Tim just escaped the mob of thugs, making them run the other way. He and Dick met, and decided to look for Jason and Damian. 

The only visible injuriy on Dick was the slash on his hind leg. And Tims paw appeared to be sprained.

 They walked around the dock,  a black shape jumped from the warehouse, and walked up to the two animals.

 "That's wiered." Batman muttered. 

 "Must have been illegally shipped here. " He took the Lemur, who jumped to his shoulder, and did a weird dance. 

Dick was waveing his arms to try and get Bruce's attention, but the bat just made a confused face. 

"Wait... Dick?" He put the puzzle together. 

Yay, go bruce.

The lemur nodded. Bruce looked back to the fox. "And Tim?" The Fox waved its tail happily.

 " Okay. Come back to the cave with me so I can figure out how to fix... This. " The Lemur shook his head and pointed to the water.

 "Are you thirsty?" 

 Tim made a 'are you serious?' Look, and pointed with his tail to himself , Dick, and two imaginary figures. 

Oh, crap.

 "Damian and Jason?" Then there was a sound of a yowl, and a feral growl. 

The three people or two animals and human, rounded the corner to see a German Sheperd, and a clouded leapord on the ground, panting soaking wet.

 A man was struggling in the water, screaming. 

It would have been a funny sight, if they weren't animals and shivering animals at that. 

The dog got up, and shook his coat. Attempting to wipe away the bitter cold that seeped into his body. 

The cat just stayed to the floor, trying to find warmth in the concrete.

 "Never. Doing. that. again." Jason panted.

 "Agreed." Damian purred. 

 Batman took off his cape, wrapping it around the dog, Trying to dry him off. 

"Stage one hypothermia." He reported. The bat mobile speed next to them, and Bruce placed the two shivering animals in the hidden trunk, and the other two hopped in after him. 

 It was going to be a long night.

A/n: this turned out so crappy, it's like 12:00 here, so I don't know why I'm not in bed. (Well it's the weekend sooo...) And I think I'm going to continue with this, and they don't know that cadmus is hunting them because the syrum used on them was their creation.
