_Introduction as Such_

Requested by: SpaceLoner

Just saying, I never made this type of scenario to be completely honest. So sorry if it's kinda awkward? Forgive me. Also, this actually took faster than I normally write. Weird huh?😅

Anyways, enjoy!

*I just found an error and HAD to fix it*

"Ready?" Cass squeezed your hand slightly, her eyes casting on yours with a gentle gaze.

Laughing at the question, you shook your head, "Not really," you muttered, a frail smile plastered across your face. With a deep breath, you scratched the back of your neck before pausing just a second and breathed out, making a side glance, "Actually, never."

Cassandra and yourself have been acquaintances for quite a long time now, several years at the least. Actually, "Acquaintances" isn't really a word to describe you two, you're more to her, and she's more to you than just some petty acquaintances. Friends doesn't fit the description either. She easily broken that wall, it's very much apparent that both of you think very highly of each other, Even more than the role of best friends.

Your feet carried you pretty efficiently towards the main part of the batcave, though you wish it didn't. For years you've been wondering, dreaming of what it would be like to stroll around the infamous place, and now you're here. You're really in the Batcave. Too much of a progress in such little time, you couldn't comprehend it at all.

The grip to your hand tightened as you both slowly decreased your speed and made a stop, blue light illuminating from the giant panels of many computers. It took you no time to recognise all of the advanced system that's now displayed before your very eyes. These bad boys aren't something that you could find being massed produced in any factories. These are custom made. With more than what you could  earn in just an everyday job.  The laptop slung inside of your bag felt so much more inferior compared to these.

"Holy....." You pinched yourself, making sure that this wasn't a dream.

The whole setting itself was as grand as anything a Wayne can buy. Of course you grimaced, as the pinch you inflicted to yourself did hurt. You weren't dreaming at all, and this is really happening. This kept on for a while, the idea of it, the elegant design, the countless features? There was no way you could contain yourself. Too much things running through your excited brain, who wouldn't? It's the Batcomputers! Some of the most superior computers there are in mankind history.

"So are you going to introduce yourself or what?" A sort of rough and husky voice came in, simply interrupted your little daydream.

You blinked and looked back at the direction the voice had came. It was Redhood. Or as his real name, Jason, along with her family. The whole Batfamily. All in their uniforms, standing just a couple of feet away from Cass and yourself. Subconsciously, you stepped back. Cass didn't mess with you when she had warned you about them. Then again, she never did mess with warnings. Gathered in such a way, they truly are as intimidating as the evil doers make them be.

Nightwing nudged Redhood's arm with a look before turning to you, "sorry, he gets impatient too quickly."

"Can't put it any better," Robin smirked, looking at the older figure.

"Shut up demon spawn."

The others shook their heads apologetically and gave you small and, or either hinted smiles. They were trying their best to be at least welcoming to you, Cass did told them how you were. Slight information though, never the real juice. Never your secrets.

You wanted to introduce yourself and get this all over, but you didn't and held your tongue back. Cass immediately took notice and started the introduction for you, "Everyone, meet (y/n)," she lets go of your hand and gestured her hands to you, leaving your hands with a warmth that quickly faded.

You opened your mouth but no sound came out, only bright red slowly creeping on both of your cheeks. Sweat dripped down your skin as your breath became laboured.

What to do?

You looked at Cass. In a fraction of a second, she reacted. Stepping back, she patted the upper half of your back a few times and held it there, nodding at you. Every part of her reassuring gesture made their effects, calming you instantly. With a newfound courage, you stepped forward. Just a little, a few inch was enough.

"It's (y/n). Actually, (y/n) (l/n)," you attempted a smile.

"Might uh... You might, or. Sorry, you might know me more as The..." you bit your lips, "as.. As The Eye Infiltrator," You finally finished, though thoroughly embarrassed by such an introduction.

Everyone ears, aside from yours and Cass's perked up at the name. Their eyes, especially Barbara's, went wide. Her mouth turned agape and her eyebrows raised ever so slightly, "The Eye Infiltrator? It was you?" She gasped, holding a hand in front of her lips.

You nodded slowly, the tips of your ears burned as red as hot coal. "Well y-yeah, but is it that much of a shock Mrs. Gordon?"

Again, everyone's faces changed the slightest bit. Bruce's turned to a faint cowl as he stared at Cass before averting it back to you. "Did she told you?" He asked coldly, but more as a demand.

Stepping even forward, you shook your head and outstretched an arm in front of Cass. "No, I figured it out myself," you paused, "hacker, remember?"

"Nevertheless The Eye Infiltrator, Batman, The Eye Infiltrator!" Red Robin exclaimed loudly, " Have been one of the only untraceable sources that the police could actually rely on. With hacks as far as far out to the whole mafia mapping! Every trafficking, every deal, companies, organisations, they never stood a chance." his eyes held a respect for your work behind his white lenses.

Bruce nodded, "of course, what was I thinking." He sighed and took off his cowl, revealing his face. "No use of wearing it around you now, then?"

The others followed and took off their masks, cowls, and helmet/hood. Now, stood before you were their might as well be secret identities. Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, Duke, Barbara, and Stephanie. Cass had already taken off her cowl as you defend her earlier. Taking in their faces, you nodded. "It's an honor, Mr. Wayne."

Bruce shook his head, "Just call me Bruce, you're a part of this now. Aren't you?"

Cass smiled and took your hand, leading you towards them. The whole family might've scared you half to death just a few moments ago, but all in all, they are extraordinary people.

Even though you fancy their welcome, the universe decided that it was getting a bit too good, seeing the alarm blared throughout the cave the second you could talked a more than five words sentences. Bruce immediately put on his cowl back and checked the batcomputers. He sighed and began to type furiously.

Bruce stopped and turned to you, "(y/n), do you have any files on these people?" He pointed the large logo appearing on the screens.

You nodded and got your laptop out, "I do, actually..."

Everyone nodded their heads and began to get to their vehicles, minus Barbara because she quickly navigated the city through cameras and turned on her comm. "This is Oracle, connection established. We're online and ready to go."

Cass stayed behind and gave you a quick shoulder hug before storming off, leaving you to quickly connect your laptop to transfer the countless research you've done. Soon enough, your fingers danced across the keyboard with various speed. Infiltrating firewalls and their defences,   tracking their movements and so forth.

You felt a tug to the sleeve of your shirt. Presumably from Barbara. Taking a breath, you stopped for a moment and turned your head. She held out her hands, giving you the one pieced comm.  Bidding her a small thanks, you took it and continued your work.

"This is Eye Infiltrator, and we've picked up a few different signals from their base. Sending in the coordinates-"
