Batch One: ??/67
Survivors of an experimental attempt at genetic engineering, these children have each developed in cylindrical chambers filled with nutrient-rich fluid. The initial number had been one hundred, but twenty-four Creations had died between Extraction and the age of three; nine Creations had died before their first week within the chamber – prior to Extraction.

The children have been extracted between the dates 5th and 9th of April, of the same year; all survivors of Batch One are aged ten. Twenty Creations were extracted per day. Each Creation had been given a number at Extraction, between 1 and 100 (since nine had died before then, there'd be nine missing numbers), which was permanently stamped onto the inner wrist of their non-dominant hand on the day of Extraction (yes they knew their preferred hand before they extracted them). As the children grew, they had their numbers restamped; the latest Restamp had been aged nine.

Up to the age of five, they had been cared for and educated in branches around the main Laboratory. But from their fifth birthday, the Creations were forced to undergo a series of experiments and tests: one every fortnight – from IQ to cardiovascular endurance. This was when the Makers began their study their Creations and their differences. A few experiments would leave some children permanently affected or even damaged, though.

In this remaining group, there are:

• fraternal (they technically came from the same zygote, HOWEVER mutations occurred and they look rather different) triplets (ALL COUNT AS ONE OF THE 67) [TAKEN - 3/3]
• twelve children with sensory differences/(dis)abilities (e.g. blindness; deafness; and sensory sensitivities/dormancy; anything) [TAKEN - 12/12]
• eighteen human children with enhanced (non-sensory) abilities (e.g. NO MORE SPEED OR STRENGTH, self-healing, immunity; anything) [TAKEN – 18/18]
• seven hybrid children with part of their DNA from another species [TAKEN – 7/7]
• seven disabled or handicapped children (e.g. can't walk; mute; missing limb(s); ADHD; CAPD; whatever) [TAKEN – 7/7]

In total, there are 45 roles to be used, however an OC can have more than one role!
For example: a half human, half ladybug girl who is deaf.
But you don't have to use one of those roles for your OCs (they're merely there to encourage gene-diversity). Plus, you can make your own alterations/mutations/differences too!

Btw, any twins only take up one space between them. Since they've split from the same zygote.
