A/N: This is a shot where Jason is stuck babysitting Damian, based off the picture above.

"-TT- this is pointless." said Damian with his arms across his chest as he glared up at Jason. "I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, I don't need a ridiculous babysitter.'' He huffed. 

Jason fully agreed, he would have rather be anywhere else but here right now, dealing with the little demon.
"Well too bed kid, your stuck with me.'' said Jason who walked over and ruffled Damian's hair, only to get his hand swatted away.

"I'm not a kid! And don't touch me Todd!" Damian said loudly and turned around and headed towards the study. Jason chuckled a bit and slowly followed him.

Damian quickly made it over towards the entrance of the Batcave but before he could enter he was tugged backwards by the collar of his t-shirt. He quickly spun around getting free and kick Jason in the leg. 
"Ahh what the hell demon?!" said Jason, sorta pissed. Damian chuckled and smirked up at Todd.
"You heard what the old man said demon, no cave, no gym and no patrolling."

"-TT-" was Damian's response as he pushed past Jason and sat down upon the couch, with a small, almost not visible pout. 

Jason shook his head and sat down across from the kid. He quickly pulled his phone out to see if Dick was any closer of being down with Blüdhavenand could come home to take care of the demon spawn,but sadly no.

Dick, or rather Nightwing, was off in Blüdhaven patrolling, Tim a.k.a Robin was off with his Teen Titans, Alfred was in the hospital from exhaustion and Bruce was patrolling Gotham. When Bruce called him, Jason right away refused, he even offered Bruce to patrol Gotham for him, but Bats would let up. After an angry no, a pout and a stomp of his foot he reluctantly agreed and headed over towards the manor, with little to no joy in his eyes.
Him and Damian have never been close, the only one who seemed able to really enjoy this demon and get it act like a 'normal kid' was Dick.

A bit of doing nothing, Jason heard Damian state that he was bored and watched the child push himself off the couch and walk over towards the rows of books. Jason quickly texted Dick, for he always had his phone on him during patrol. It was risky but Dick hated to be cut off from anyone. Jason tapped his foot on the ground awaiting Dick's response.

J: Dickiebird, I suck at this! I might...I might need some assistance here on this one.
D: Come on Jay, it's not that hard. Damian is a great kid.
J: Yeah right the demon is amazing!  :/
D: haha 
J: we both are clearly bored and...idk just fucking hurry up and get your kid already!
D: Almost done Jaybird.
D: Just do something you both like and cuddle! He loves cuddles!  :)
J:  Cuddles? Are you trying to get me killed here, you like cuddles.
J: I doubt the demon spawn even knows how to be happy, let alone love cuddles.
D: You'd be surprised J. Gotta go!

Jason huffed and leaned back in the chair and looked at Damian. He was standing by the book shelf with a book in hand. It looked incredibly boring but he could see that Damian was enjoying it. Jason got up and walked out of the room for a second. He had gotten a few board games from the closet and thought playing would past the time, even if it was with the small devil. The moment the door opened back up, Damian threw a ninja star at him. His eyes doubled and pulled it out of the wall it was embedded in.

"What the Fuck, Demon!" yelled Jason. He looked over at the little devil and saw him smiling widely. He chuckled and leapt over the couch and sat down, arms crossed his chest.

"Didn't realized it was you, but it wouldn't have changed the fact.'' said Damian. Jason shook his head and tossed the ninja star onto the coffee table before Damian.

"You know what, never mid. I'm done trying.'' said Jason who quickly turned around and headed outside for a smoke. He felt like he needed some air, the kid was pressing his buttons, raising his blood pressure and he had no idea why either.

Jason standing in the kitchen, eating whatever he could fine and prayed that when Alfred got back he wouldn't be too mad and besides he could always blame it on the demon that was living in the manor.

Just as he was about to get some ice cream, he heard screams. With an eye roll he dashed out of the kitchen to find the source of the screams.
It was Damian.

He threw open the study doors to find Damian thrashing upon the couch.
"Noo....Stop! I-I...." he cried out as small tears streamed down his face. Damian was having a nightmare. He ran up to Damian and shook him suddenly, Damian had never looked so much like a kid before, so vulnerable before.
Damian quickly shot up, his eyes red and wide and Jason pulled him into a hug. A first, Damian shoved and pushed at Jason, trying to escape his hold but Jason wouldn't let up and finally Damian relax in the hug and allowed himself to be held as a few more tears fell from his eyes.

After Damian had clearly calmed down, they pulled apart and Damian quickly cleared his face of any and all tears. Jason's eyes scan Damian, for he knew just how scary nightmares can be.

"I'm fine'' said Damian suddenly and moved to get away from Jason. He grabbed a book and sat down on the ground, near the warm fireplace. Jason sighed and walked over towards Damian. He then quickly picked him up, which Damian didn't like at all. He kicked, hit and screamed and probably would have bitten Jason if given the chance to. 
Jason now sat on the ground, with Damian in his lap. It was odd but after awhile it was all good. Damian huffed and opened his book up, glancing quickly up at Jason before going ahead a reading. Jason pulled his game out of his pocket and began to play as the warmth from the fire heated both them and the room up, making both of them slightly more relaxed.

"Maybe babysitting the demon...Damian isn't so bad'' thought Jason with a small smile tugging at his lips. Damian lean back a bit more into Jason's chest as he continued to read.

"Maybe Todd isn't too terrible. I still despise the unwanted imbecile, though'' though Damian.
