I saw a blur of green before I slammed my eyes shut at the sound of the GCPD sirens and the shatter of glass.

With a grunt I let my eyes flutter open, slowly to adjust little by little.

Glancing around with just my eyes I saw I was in a dimly lit place that seemed to resemble a rain forest.

The place was covered in green, brown, or some exotic color from a flower.

Flowers of all kinds were in full bloom, some of them were the normal garden variety, and the others seemed something straight out of Wonderland.

I huffed and moved more. And after the chore of sitting up I looked around myself.

My head ache subsided quite quickly. I looked around seeing only plant life around me.

My eyes landed on my hand as a felt the rope like thing shift. I picked up my hand to see a little green vine wrapped around my elbow and forearm as well as my fingers. A small pink bud of a flower tucked between my fingers.

He glared at me in anger as I stared at him in the utmost confusion.

"Uh... 'scuse me... But who are you?"

I'd lost track of time here.

But that's okay.

Since I'd met Ivy in the dim room I woke up in I'd been cared for to the max. A bit pampered and protected though.

He explained who he was. He said he didn't know how I came here, only that he came to investigate a presence. Hence why he was a little mad, but now that that is over and done with. He was actually over joyed to have a companion in his domain.

He said his plants would watch over me when he couldn't. He said he'd care for me until I was better.

And seeing as I'd recovered from my dizzy spells and my senses had fixed themselves I was nearly ready to leave.

Getting up I began wandering the area in search of him.

The plants I passed seemed to sway and reach out to me. They reached and touched my hands or gently tugged me towards them.

I furrowed my eyebrows but only picked up my pace.

Ivy came first. I had to make sure he was okay before figuring out about clingy plants.

My search had brought me throughout the underground compound.

He was no where. The fountain, the exotic gardens, the green room.

NOWHERE!!

I'd grown too worried.

It wasn't like him. Not at all.

I'd given up in my search and hunkered down at the fountain.

'He'll find me I guess.'

It was silent for a good while. I was at peace for moment and had shut my eyes only for my eyes to flutter open as I heard leaves rustling. Not in one place. But all around.

Looking around and I saw a wave wash over the plants as they shuddered. Jaws and Guppy got up from their naps and unraveled from around me.

"Jaws? Guppy? What's wrong?" I watched the two as they shook their bodies.
