"Bruce isn't angry! He misses you too... We just want you back Jason."

You let out a large sigh as you made your way back home from the store Alfred had sent you to for carrots.
"Are you alright miss?" Called a voice from just behind you, and you looked to see a young boy with spiky black hair and you smiled at him "You're crying!"
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine" You replied, wiping the tears in your eyes away with the palm of your hand "My brother's just being a little difficult is all. He... Had an argument with dad, and we haven't seen him for years. I tried to get him to come back home today but I guess he's stubborn as ever."
"I hope your brother comes home soon then."
"Yeah... Me too. Now, please tell me you have a reason for being out here alone?"
"I'm scouting the streets for Batman!"
"Batman?" You asked "Why are you looking for Batman?"
"Because I want to be his next sidekick. No one's seen Robin in a while, so I thought I'd go looking for him" The boy cried, striking a little pose.
"What was your name again?" You frowned, trying to place his age.
"I can't give you my name miss! If I gave it to you you'd know my secret identity."
"Ok then, I admire your persistence, but maybe you should hold off on the Batman thing for a while," You laughed "With that Red Hood running around I'd hate for you to get hurt because you went looking for Batman and ended up in the same area as some sort of battle."
"Thanks for the advice miss!"
"It was no problem, now you be safe OK?" You smiled as he walked off, giving you a wave as he went.
'I have a feeling I'll be seeing him again soon.' You thought to yourself as you watched him walk away.
You checked your phone and found 2 missed calls from Alfred, and you looked to the corner of your phone to realise that it had been on Silent this entire time. You quickly called him back and smiled when he picked up.
"Hey Alfred it's me. Sorry about not picking up earlier, I accidentally left my phone on silent!"
"It's no problem miss <y/n>, I just wanted to let you know that Master Bruce was back, and to remind you about those carrots."
"I have the carrots with me right now Alfred, but what do you mean by 'was' back? Are you saying Bruce got back home and then left again?" You stopped your walk to wait for the answer.
"Yes, right now he is... visiting Jason's grave, I believe he hired a very large digger."
"He's digging it up isn't he?" You asked, placing two fingers from your free hand to the bridge of your nose.
"Yes miss <y/n>, he said he had to get to the bottom of this mystery once and for all. I believe he doesn't want you to see him digging it up though, so he asked that you return to the house as soon as I got hold of you."
"Alright then," you began walking again, giving a quick glance over your shoulder with unease. It felt like someone was watching you. "I'm just heading home right now, I should be back in about 20 minutes."
"Very well miss <y/n>."
"Bye Alfred!" You said quietly, hanging up the phone and taking one more look over your shoulder before walking home.
By the time you got back to the house it was about 4PM, and you strode directly to the kitchen to drop off the carrots, and then to your room to drop off your purse and to wash your face to cover up the fact that you had been crying. Bruce would definitely scold you if he found out that you had gone to see your brother without telling anyone, and he wouldn't be happy that you'd gone in without any special gadgets or a tracking device.
He didn't even look up as you entered the Batcave, and only spoke when you leant down to look at the screen.
"Did you find what you were looking for this morning?"
"Man I really thought Alfred wouldn't tell you I was in here."
"Alfred didn't tell me. You left bread-crumbs on the table in front of the computer."
"At least I didn't leave them in the keyboard or anything?" You replied meekly.
"So I'm guessing you know for sure that this Red Hood is definitely your brother?"
"After seeing that video? There's no doubt. Did you find what you were looking for with that digger of yours?"
"Someone replaced the body before we even buried it."
"Great. I think the only thing we need now to be sure is a DNA test."
"Already in the process of getting that one done."
"Where did you get the guy's DNA from?!"
"It's best if you don't know."
"Whatever" You sighed.
There was silence for a long time, you cast a glance at Alfred as he walked in with a tray but you didn't realise why he dropped it until you looked back at the screen. The DNA test was positive. You feigned your surprise at the results so Bruce didn't catch on to the fact that you'd visited Red Hood just today. After a bit of tense silence between everyone, Bruce finally spoke.
"<y/n>, I have a feeling we'll be seeing Red Hood very soon."
"Why would you say that?"
"The Joker broke out of Arkham."
