RedHood x Sister reader part 3
"You're right. There is more... I think the Red Hood is-"
"Jason... My brother."
*****
You sighed and looked over at your clock when you awoke the next morning, it was 10 O'clock.
After you had picked out a light <f/c> T-Shirt and some long black pants, you brushed your hair and made your way down to the kitchen where Alfred was washing some dishes. With a smile at him you took some bread and made yourself toast.
"So where's Bruce?" You asked, taking a bite of your toast.
"Master Bruce is at work."
"Work as in Wayne Industries or..?"
"Wayne Industries miss <y/n>. Although I suspect he has taken the jet to do a little business elsewhere, so he may not be back until the afternoon."
"So if I went into the Batcave right now... He wouldn't be there?"
"No, he would not."
"Interesting..." You mumbled, picking up your plate and walking towards the nearest entrance to the Batcave.
"Miss <y/n>? Where are you going?" Alfred asked, following you as you opened the door to an elevator that would go to the Batcave.
"Bruce said we'd continue the search tomorrow, and its tomorrow so I'm continuing the search. Besides, I missed all that evidence that he went over yesterday and I want to see what he came up with." You replied, doing a two-fingered salute to the butler as the doors shut.
You sat down in the chair and entered your password to the Batcomputer, getting access and seeing everything he had been working on, that he didn't close of course, and frowned at the picture on the screen. Red Hood on a motorcycle, with another tab open which seemed to be manipulating the sounds from the video. Taking a bite of your toast, you pressed play.
"You haven't lost your touch Bruce!" Was all you heard before the rest of the noises from the train going past in front of him took over, and you knew that your assumptions were correct.
The Red Hood was your older brother, Jason. It just had to be. You stared at the screen a while longer, then abruptly stood up, finishing off your toast and making your way back up to the house. You smiled at Alfred as you passed him in the hall, and washed your plate, placing it onto the rack with all the others. You walked back up the stairs to your room, grabbing your <f/c> purse and heading for the front door.
"Alfred, I'm just going out for a bit. Do you want me to get anything?" You called, taking your keys from the drawer where you normally left them and putting them into your pocket.
"We're running low on carrots if you don't mind getting a bag of them from that shop I showed you." He replied, from his position on the top floor.
"Anything else?" You asked, mentally noting that you needed to pick up carrots.
"No, miss <y/n>, would you like me to let you know when Master Bruce gets home?"
"Uh... Yeah that sounds good. Thanks Alfred!" You nodded to him, then walked outside and shut the door behind you.

When you got back from eating dinner, and had settled in your bed you leaned to grab a book from your nightstand and found a note on your alarm clock. Delicately picking it up and unfolding it, you read it with unease.
'Meet me where we first met Bruce, I need your help.
J.'
It was a short walk to your destination- an alleyway between two abandoned office buildings. As soon as you rounded the corner a hand clamped over your mouth, and you resisted the urge to yelp.
"You came alone?" Came the oh-so familiar voice.
You nodded, and let out a quiet sigh of relief as the hand was removed. You turned to see Red Hood standing directly in front of you. Before you could do anything, he motioned that you follow him and he turned a corner at the other end of the alleyway, then went through a very well hidden door. You followed him down some steps and eventually found yourself in a medium-sized room, with a computer on one end, and a large cabinet (Which you assumed contained all the weapons he used in his nightly escapades) on the other. He sat down on the chair in front of his computer, and gestured to a similar chair on his right, you tentatively sat down and looked around.
"So I assume you got my note?" You remembered the note he was referring to, which you had found on your alarm clock when you got back from eating dinner the night before.
"How could I possibly miss a note that was taped to my alarm clock? Honestly I didn't think you'd want to talk to me, considering..."
"Considering what?"
"You mean you really didn't recognise me yesterday?"
"I barely recognised you just a few minutes ago, and I wouldn't have if it hadn't been for that purse that I'm surprised you still have."
You looked down at the purse he was referring to, and smiled softly. "It was the last thing you ever gave me, I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, no matter how tatty it got. I gave Alfred a hell of a time whenever I needed to repair it. Though when I found out who you were and what you'd been up to I was pretty tempted."
"Ouch. You still have your sharp wit then. Now, when did you see me yesterday where I didn't recognise you?"
"Let me give you a hint... I was wearing a mask and a cape, and you hit me over the back of the head. Sound familiar yet?"
"Wait. You're Batgirl?" He asked, and continued after your nod "Wow. I thought you said you couldn't live that kind of life."
"Yeah well when your brother dies fighting crime, you tend to want to do it yourself so you still have something left of him" You replied quietly. "It wasn't easy. For almost two years I blamed Bruce for your death, and I wouldn't even talk to him. But after a while I gave up blaming him, and focused on deciding to help him with his mission. To be honest, I always hit extra hard when it comes to Joker and his goons."
"Well I'm glad you're finally happy and everything-"
"Jason." You cut him off, looking straight at him with the kind of look you give Commissioner Gordon when you need him to listen and pay close attention. "I didn't come here to 'help you with your plan' or anything. I came here to bring you home."
"Well I'm afraid that isn't happening sis. I can't exactly go there anymore, considering what I've been doing and who it is that lives there."
"Please. Just come home, stop this crusade or whatever it is you're doing and come home. Take off that mask and let me bring you back to the house, we can work this out!" You pleaded, standing and looking at the ground, seeing all the spots on the floor where your tears had fallen. "I don't want to have to hurt you, I'm still Batgirl and I can't just pull my punches because you're my brother."
Jason stood, brushing the tears from your eyes and leading you to the door. "I can't stop this <n/n>, and if you won't help me, then you should leave before I do something that will make Bruce angrier than he already is."
"Bruce isn't angry!" You cried, taking your hand back from him and opening the door, turning to look at him one last time before you left forever. "He misses you too... We just want you back Jason."
