Okay, so we know the sad story of Stratogale and her sadly relatable life and Edna's sad history with capes. But what I really didn't realize was this:

Every single Super who presumably died in those no-capes flashbacks? They were at Bob and Helen's wedding.

Gazerbeam is there in the front—which kinda makes me think he and Mr. Incredible used to be pretty good friends; I mean, he's right next to Edna and the government guy—but behind him? Metaman. Splashdown. Guys, Stratogale was at their wedding.

Edna wasn't pulling all of those examples for why not to have a cape out of a hat. They were their friends, people Bob knew well enough to have them at the front rows of the groom's side at his wedding.

There don't seem to be any of his relatives up front, or his parents. Just old friends, and a lot of Supers who had capes.

(Of course, there's the slight chance that those Supers were his relatives, but that's a whole other sad theory [which I don't have proof for other than their enormous chins], so y'know)
