Forget if I mentioned it, but we've got PUPPERS!

There's this one gigantic boy who is so sweet and wants nothing more than to be on my lap, usually so he can climb up and lick my face.

I talked to him in a happy excited voice and sat down so he could come be on my lap.

he's seven weeks old he's not even fully weaned yet

*bows* Incubated in a styrofoam cooler and hatched by yours truly! Eight out of twelve is pretty good for a batch of eggs. (Three more developed chicks, but they haven't hatched yet and I'm not sure if they will. I may see if there's a safe way to manually put a little hole in the end of the egg to get them some air/check on them.)

They're so adorable?? Chickens are lots of fun! I'd love to get some Black Copper Marans sometime; their dark brown eggs are so cool. I get the feeling it might be hard to candle them when incubating, though. XD ("Candling" is when you shine a bright light through the egg to check for development.)
