"I think I'll choose.....The green one!"

Bulbasaur turns his head in confusion. He never gets picked for journeys. Usually its charmander and sometimes squirtle. Why would he pick him? Oak gave Dane the same look.

Oak: Umm....are you sure you don't want charmander? Or maybe squirtle?

Dane: No thanks! I like bulbasaur. He looks cool.

Bulbasaur, having an expressionless face plastered on, gets down from the table abd beside Danes leg. Oak gave Dane the pokeball for bulbasaur before giving and explaining the pokedex to him.

Oak: And this is a pokedex! It can identify ANY pokemon in this region. It can tell you about its type, moves, level, and other things.

Dane puts the pokedex in his pocket.

Dane: Cool! So...where do I go?

Oak: Just head past Viridian city towards Pewter City. There, you'll find the first gym leader to battle.

Dane nods, thanks the professer, and begins to walk out of Pallet towm, leaving green to get her own pokemon. Dane and Bulbasaur began to walk down route 1 together, looking at each other. Dane really didn't know what to do now that he had a starter so...he tried to battle something.....OR someone!
