Dane, and his new friend of the kanto region Leaf, went to Pallet town. A small little town only consisting of three house that was up the river. Dane looked around. He saw people with their kanto pokemon. Specifically a guy with his Rattata. ((Sound familiar Hxppinxss_isgxne?)) Dane asked leaf what that pokemon was.

"That one? That's a Rattata. The most common pokemon to find in the kanto region

Dane replied

"It looks like a Rat painted purple."

Leaf looked at him weird.

"What's a Rat?"

Suddenly, before Dane could reply, a woman came rushing up to them. She wore a white apron with a purple long sleeved shirt. It was Leafs mom.

"Leaf! I almost forgot to give you your running sho-"

She sees Dane and stops.

"Who is he?"

Leaf chuckled.

"Oh! Sorry mom, heh. This is my friend, Dane. I met him near the river without any pokemon."

The mom, or Delia, gasps.

"No pokemon!?"

Dane turns his attention to Delia.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm sorta new here. I came from a place called Here Town, where we have animals instead of these pokemon."

Delia blinks twice before smiling.

"Well, you should come over to my place for some supplies!"

Dane frowns.

"Well actually, uh, I kinda wanna get back home-"

Leaf turns to Dane.

"You can! But only pokemon champions/masters get to travel to foreign places."

Dane frowns

"So I've gotta be the best pokemon...trainer? Is it? In the land, to go home."

Delia smiles a little.

"Like no one ever was, honey."

Dane slumps in place a little. He didn't really have time to go through a pokemon journey. He needed to go home quickly to Here Town to stop Filename2. Leaf saw that Dane wasn't digging the whole "pokemon trainer" thing too much.

"Don't worry! I'll go get the professer, and we can start training as soon as possible! You can go to my house with my mom for some supplies."

Dane stood straight a little, not wanting to seem like a brat.

"Alright..."

Delia smiled as she and leaf parted ways. She took Dane by the hand and lead him to her, house where she gave him a backpack for his journey to be the very best.

Like no one ever was.
