Excitement; what I felt when I first got you.
"What's should his name be?" I had no clue.
Out of the long list of names, OREO is what we agreed on.
I loved to see you happily on the newly mowed lawn.
Every minute I had, I spent with you.
We had a bond like that of paper and glue.
You loved to play around all the time.
Apparently, I was the only thing you wanted to jump and climb.
Whenever I was filled with sadness, you were my source of joy.
You would console me dearly and that's what I enjoy.
You stayed by my side for two joyful years.
You left me sadly; sadly in tears.
I believe there are paw prints in Heaven.
You are up there showering me with all these blessings.
