I look at the sky so blue, the sun shinning so bright,
Spreading happiness and heat with its blinding light.
The wind whistles past my ears.
Closing my eyes, I loose all my fears.

Sitting and wondering where life will go,
But right now, I want time to go slow.
Sitting here, holding my knees to my chest.
Watching nature at its best.

I want to enjoy this moment and feel free,
To clear my mind; to find some glee.
The serenity I feel here soothes my mind.
A peaceful day is so hard to find.

As the night draws near,
I feel like I need to be here.
It's days like these I truly treasure.
