Hunger

Hunger knows no man.
It takes its problems to everyone.
Whether young or old,
Of everyone, it gets hold.
Hunger makes one's craving strong,
And no food could ever go wrong.

One wishes for his family to be happy.
One wishes to have money,
To put some food of the table.
He's trying hard but he's unable.
Satisfaction of his family, he wants,
Probably with just a few croissants.

All they have now is hope.
They're holding tight on the rope.
For maybe, help could come their way,
Not today, but maybe another day.
Ardently waiting for some aid,
They feel it's being delayed.

Some throw food away, calling it fun,
While others strive to get a single bun.
Selfishness must flee away.
We must shake ourselves to wake.
To help is not an option but a duty.
A duty that brings out your inner beauty.
