Discrimination

She was looked down upon,
Because of her race.
There was no where to belong,
As she had no mates.

It came down to religion,
They asked questions about "her" God.
Told she didn't have any vision,
She wanted to prove them wrong.

She cried all the time,
Feeling like an odd.
Felt as if she committed a crime,
And it's going to go beyond.

Beyond till she's older,
Till she can't take no more.
Until it's all over,
And she's down 6 feet long.

Sometimes it was her age,
And all others.
She wanted to turn over that page
New one; where she wouldn't bother.

She stopped crying, cutting.
She stood up to them,
Showed they were worth nothing,
And that, she was her own type of gem.

Wanting to fight for victims,
Showing them it wasn't worth it.
To cry for people so wicked.
To suck in the pain that came with it.

But rather to stand up
For their religion, their gender.
To never give up,
Until they are wholly better.

Discrimination is a disease
That must be prevented.
It must go away in defeat,
Then love comes in; never ending.
