I walked into my hallway this morning,

And it was pitch black.

Like, I had to feel around for a while to find the light switch.

Later, when I was walking out to go to school, I said, "Well, its fucking dark in here."

And my clever ass brain added, 'Like my soul."

And I laughed a little.

And cringed.
