2 yrs later

Raavi is sitting on the bed in her home at noida with face with no smile, no brightness. She thinks of what her life has turned into in last 2 years.

Raavi gets married to Rahul. After all the post marriage function, all the guest bids bye to the family.

One night, raavi was standing in the balcony. Rahul goes to raavi and back hugs her.

Ra: (being uncomfortable) main change karke aati hu....

Rah: aise hi achi lag rhi ho....

He removes her hairs and kisses her neck. Raavi cringes by his touch but Rahul doesn't give a damn.

Ra: (uncomfortably) Rahul...I'm not ready yet....

Rah: (huskily) no one is......

Rahul took raavi inside and made her lie on bed. Raavi tried to oppose but he doesn't let her. he removed her pallu and kisses her neck. Raavi tried to push him but he was powerful enough. And using his strength, he made his way out without paying heeds to raavi's tears and feelings.

At midnight, when Rahul was fast asleep, Raavi went to washroom and sat under the shower. She cried her her heart out. She rubbed all over her neck, her arms and other body parts. She cried and cried till morning. She still felt his touch on her body which was making her uncomfortable.

Tears rolls down raavi's eyes as she thinks of that day.

One day, in Noida, Rahul's friend visit them.

Friend: yakeen nhi hota ki tujhe jaise ko itni sundar ladki mil gyi

Rah: chal chal drink bana.....

Fr: raavi, you'll have?

Ra: (smiles) nhi main nhi peeti....

Fr: sach sach bolo kabhi nhi pi?....

Ra: bas college me dosto ke saath do teen baar.....

Rah: (coldly) kuch snacks arrange kar do....

Ra: ji.....

Raavi goes to kitchen.

Fr: aur bta kaisi chal rhi hai teri married life.....

Rah: thik chal rhi hai.....dheere dheere, ek dusre ko samjh rahe hai.....koi jaldi nhi hai....ek baar understanding aa jaye phir aage badenge.....

Fr: baat bhi sahi hai...

Raavi listen this and got shocked hearing his lie.

That night, raavi was applying cream on her hand standing in front of dresser.

Rah: aur kya kya kiya hai tumne.....

Ra: ji?....

Rah: (coldly) college me daru peene ke alwa kya kya try kiya hai tumne....

Ra: kuch nhi...vo bhi bas do teen-

Rah: (yells) akal nhi hai tumhe.....ab ye bhi sunvaogi ki meri biwi daru peeti hai.....agr nhi hai na toh bola mat karo....

Ra: *looked him with shock and unbelieveable expression*

Rah: (rudely) ab soyengi ya ek peg chahiye neend ke liye bhi....

Raavi lies down without saying anything facing her back to rahul. Rahul shifts towards her. he makes her turn towards him and start kissing her holding her hand. Raavi couldn't do anything. Just a tear escapes her eyes.

Bell rings breaking raavi trance. Raavi opens the gate. Rahul comes in.

Rah: (rudely) so gyi thi kya ...itni derr lagti hai....

Ra: aaj kaafi der rho gyi...

Rah: (coldly) dosto ke saath baith gya....derr ho gyi....(sarcastically) aap se puch ke jayenge agli baar....

Rahul goes in the room and start changing. Raavi keeps his bag and shoe at proper place.

Rah: chai bana do....

Raavi prepares the tea but her concentration was not there. she was lost in her thought. She prepares it and takes it for Rahul. She gives it to him and then picks up his socks and keeps them in laundry basket.

Ra: khana laga du?.....

Rah: kyun sona hai?

Ra: nhi....

Rah: (rudely) toh dikh nhi rha main chai pi rha hu....(rudely) aisa kya kaam kar liya tumne din-bhar jo tum itna thak gyi....

Ra: (blankly) maine kahan kuch kaha....

Rah: (rudely and sarcastically) kaha kuch nhi....par bada ehsaan hai jo do waqt ka khana khila deti ho....aaj jara derr kya ho gyi...madam ki neend kharab ho gyi....tum so jao...khana main khud garam kar lunga.....iss galtfemi me mat raho ki bahut bada koi kaam karti ho.....main manage kar sakta hu...

Ra: *silent*

Rah: (after sipping tea) chai me chinni daalne ke bhi paise logi kya.....

Ra: bhul gyi.....laati hu....

Rah: rehne do....(handing over the cup) ek chai nhi banti sahi se.....

Saying this, Rahul goes to change. Raavi goes to set dinner.

One day, Rahul comes out of washroom after changing clothes.

Rah: Khana laga do....

Ra: (resting on bed) meri tabiyat thik nhi hai.....aap aaj khud le lenge?

Rah: (coldly) kya hua?

Ra: I got down today...pain thoda jayada hai..... khana bana rakha hai....aap bas garam kar lijiye......

Rah: (walks away mummering) these bloody periods are never a problem when come to going out...

Ra: *realises that he didn't like it*

Rah: (in kitchen while taking food) maine toh kabhi apni maa ko papa se kehte nhi suna ki aaj khana khud lena padega bcoz she is down....

Raavi comes in the kicthen

Ra: aap jayiye...main laati hu....

Rah: ab dard thik hai....aap so jaiye main le lunga

Ra: ab thik hai.....

Rah: (rudely) pakka na...warna puri zindagi yahi sunna padega.....

Saying this he goes. Raavi sighs.

Raavi sits there silently as Rahul eats the food

Rah: paani..

Raavi goes to get water

Rah: aaj maa papa ka call aaya tha......keh rehe the Saharanpur aaja....agle mahine chalenge....vo log bhi khush ho jayenge....

Raavi says nothing just gives him water.

Raavi serves Rahul dinner.

Ra: (while serving) maa ka phone aaya tha....keh rhi thi kuch dino ke liye aaja.....aapse baat hui thi bata rhi thi....aapne kaha unse ki hum Diwali wahin manayenge.....

Rah: (rudely) ek kaam karo tum....iss baar lambi chali jao......ek baar reh aao na ache se....

Ra: (shocked) aap-

Rah: (coldly) tumhara dil nhi lagta na yahan....toh apne maa-baap ke paas hi raho na....ye roj roj ke naatak kyun karne hai....

Ra: aap hi ne toh maa se kaha-

Rah: (angrily) toh kya kehta...tumne kehalvaya usne.....taaki main bura banu.....tumhe khud me akal nhi hai.....(mummers) samjh hi nhi aata shaadi kyun ki.....

Rah: (breaking raavi trance) roti nhi hai aur?....

Ra: ji bana deti hu....

Rah: (coldly) rehne do......(rudely) ginti se ek jayada bana liya karo....

Saying this he goes in hall and switch on tv. Raavi keeps back dishes.

Ra: (while watching tv) acha suno....3 din main hyderabaad ja raha hu....IMD me ek course hai ek hafte ka....uske hisaab se samaan pack kar dena.....

Raavi and Rahul were sitting in hall sipping tea.

Ra: (while sipping tea) I was thinking ki ab toh sab settle ho hi gya hai....aap bhi subh jaldi chale jaate ho...aur din me kuch hota nhi hai karne ko....toh yahan acha sa college dekh ke mba kar lu....

Rah: (coldly) kya jaroorat hai....job toh karni nhi hai....toh kyun karna

Ra: still I-

Rah: aur vaise bhi end of this year family start karni hai.....

Ra: (bit shocked) itni jaldi....

Rah: (rudely) raavi main tumhare parents ko pehle hi bola tha ki mujhe ek housewife chahiye.....aur ek baar bacha ho jayega toh tumhare dimaag me aise faltu khayaal nhi aaynege.....

Raavi gets hurt by his words.

Raavi sets the bed.

Rah: aur hn...ashok keh rha tha Saturday ko film dekhne chalne ke liye.....tickets kar diya hai usne.....

Raavi remain silent.

Bell rings. Rahul opens the gate and raavi comes.

Ra: khana laga du?...

Rah: (coldly) tum fikr mat karo....main apna khayaal khud rakh lunga....

Ra: aap naraaj ho rahe hai...aap se puch ke hi toh gyi thi....aur film khatam hi-

Rah: puch ke nhi btake....tumhe pta tha ki tumhari dost ke samne main na bolunga nhi....koi nhi....tum ghumo aaram se apne dost ke saath....(emphishing dost)

Ra: mera dost nhi tha kirti ka tha....main toh usse jaanti bhi nhi thui.....

Rah: (sarcastic) arre ye toh aur bhi kamal ki baat hai ki aap anjaan logo ke saath raat ke 11 baje tak ghoom rhi thi....

Rahul angrily walks away to the room. Raavi follows.

Ra: (frustated) aakhir aap mujhse chahte kya hai?....

Rah: main kya chahta hu....bhai tum bata do tum kya chahti ho....agr tumhari bhi koi chahat hai tumhari behn ki tarha toh bata do....

Ra: isme meri behn kahan se aa gyi beech me.....

Rah: (rudely) khoon toh ek hi hai na....

Ra: (angrily) khoon toh kiska kaisa hai dikh rha hai.....

Rah: (angrily) apna saman bandho nikalo....this is my house....yahan rehna hai toh meri tarha raho...warna nikalo.....

Raavi angrily packs her bag and leaves.

Raavi reaches dehradun. Prafulla and jagat gets tensed seeing her.

Raavi, jagat and prafulla sitting in raavi room.

Ra: (angrily) har time ka torture har waqt batmeezi...main nhi reh sakti uske saath....

Pr: unhone maara tujhe?....

Ra: nhi maa....

Pr: toh phir?.....

Ra: (frustated) har choti choti cheez pe jhagda....har baat me problem...aur aisa nhi hai ki main try nhi karti.....but it's as if usse shauk hai ladne ka.....mera dum ghutta hai....

Ja: tu chinta mat kar hum baat karenge.....ye sab toh hota rehta hai.....sab thik ho jaye ga...

Ra: pichli baar bhi baat ki thi....usse sirf ye hua ki aur ladayi hui ki main badnaam kar rhi hu usse....main nhi reh sakti....

Ja: (angrily) ab tu har choti choti baat pe ghr chodke aa jaogi toh unhe bura lage ga na....

Ra: aap ussi ki tarafdari kar-

Ja: (shows his hand stopping her) hum baat karlenge......

Saying this jagat leaves the room, prafulla follows her

Pr: suniye....

Ja: *turns*

Pr: abki baar jara aap dhyaan se baat kariyega...ye teesri baar hai pichle chhe mahino me......goal bhabhi jib hi puch rahi thi ki sab thik hai na.....

Raavi hears this and couldn't believe that her parents are thinking of society.

After 2 days, Rahul arrives at raavi's parents' house. Rahul, jagat and prafulla sit on the hall having tea and snacks while raavi was packing her stuff as she knew that nothing gona happen.

Ja: kisi din bhaishab aur bhabhi ji ko bhi dun leke aayiya na...

Rah: ji jaroor.....

Pr: kuch le lijiye....

Rah: ji

*Silence*

Rah: (with guilty expression) main bahut sarminda hu....sare raaste yahi socha ki aap dono ko kaise face karunga....aapko toh pta hai choti moti ladai hoti rehti hai.....gusse me keh diya...ho jata hai.....dil pe nhi lena chahiye.....

Ja: ji bikul sahi keh rahe hai aap..hum samjhte hai....

Pr: mujhe lagta aapko family badane ke baare me sochna chaiye.....raavi ka bhi mann laga rhe ga aur ye chote mote jhagde bhi khatam ho jayenge....

Rah: ji voh toh main vaani pe chod rakha hai..jab vo tayaar ho tabhi....

Raavi hears this and thinks how cheap someone could be. She come out with her bag.

Rah: chale raavi...(concerned voice) tum kuch kha toh lo.....phir chalte hai...

Ra: *looks him angrily knowing his fakeness*

Pr: aaj jana jaroori hai kya....aaye hai toh do-chaar din ruk jayiye......

Rah: mummy ji iss baar toh aan pad gya....agli baar jaise hi 3-4 din ki chutti padegi main aur raavi saath aayenge...

Raavi and Rahul reach back Noida by night. In night, both lies down to sleep. Raavi as usaul sleeps facing her back to her. Rahul shifts to her and makes her turn to him. he starts kissing her neck. This time raavi doesn't try to get off coz now she knows that nothing gonna happen. She have bear this entire life.
