school.

"seonghwa! there you are!" a short, blue haired man holding a cup called him. "how was your weekend?"

"same as always. studying and work." he suddenly remembered his encounter with jihae. he chose not to mention it as it was not his place to do so. he wanted to respect her privacy-

"hyung! did you really see jeon jihae in the pub you work in?" a black long haired boy yelled to get his attention, which made him sigh and the other furrow his eyebrows.

"san. such perfect timing." seonghwa rolled his eyes and saw the blue haired guy look at him with curious eyes. "it's nothing, hongjoong. i swear."

"jeon jihae? the jeon jihae? in a pub? that's not nothing to me." hongjoong claimed and he sipped his drink.

"yeah, hyung. give us the details."

"there's nothing to give because there are no details." the eldest glared at them. "where are the others?"

"they don't have morning periods." the youngest exhaled. "man, sometimes i wish i didn't take culinary."

"then, why did you?" hongjoong eyed him.

san tensed up. "...i just like to cook."

"i'm pretty sure you like wooyoung more." seonghwa bluntly stated making hongjoong spit his drink from laughing.

"hyung!"

"why would your dad do that?! hyung, i swear, if i could, i'd let you live in my place." a loud, all too familiar yell was heard.

"speaking of the devil."

wooyoung loud voice echoed through the halls.

"keep your voice down, woo!" jihae, who was beside her, slapped his arm lightly to shut him up.

"calm down, youngie. i'm sure we're all mad. kook, why don't you just move out?" lisa, one of their friends, asked.

"he can't leave us!" jeon soyeon, their step sister suddenly said. "i'm certain dad will receive a beating from mom."

soyeon became a part of their family when jihae was eleven, eight years ago. her dad married their mom. them being siblings was not an issue since jihae wanted an older sister while jungkook wanted another younger sister to protect. soyeon's personality was great as well.

if you're wondering why jungkook and their dad get into arguments so often, it's because their father never really wanted him to take athletic training as a course. however, jungkook really wanted to pursue being a professional athlete.

jihae and soyeon were on jungkook's side, of course, but they still loved their dad. they just wished he'd take it easy on their brother.

"i'm fine! it doesn't even hurt that much." the athlete major claimed, showing them his toned arm that had a bruise. "look."

"yeah! our jungkookie is strong! nothing can get through those guns." eunwoo said as he touched them.

"they don't look too bad. doesn't mean you can have more of them. treating them won't be so easy." yugyeom warned.

dahyun suddenly fist bumped the air making the others look at her. "let's go to the cafeteria before our classes and treat jungkook."

the mentioned boy suddenly beamed up, showing his bunny teeth. "yeah, let's do that!"

"i have classes starting in five minutes." yunho pouted. "sorry, hyung."

"it's okay, yunho." jungkook smiled.

"me too, actually." jihae piped up.

"and me." wooyoung looked at his watch.

"i just don't wanna treat you so i'm going with them." lisa said, almost walking away.

jungkook grabbed her hand and said, "hey! don't be like that. you can come without treating me."

"alright, alright." lisa gave out a grin while soyeon made a gagging face.

"jihae, you sure you don't wanna skip class and watch our brother flirt?" she asked, still with the disgusted face on.

"no thanks, soyeon. good luck enduring all that." the younger girl waved to them goodbye together with the two boys.

she could hear soyeon yelling, "i thought we were sisters." which made her laugh.

on the trio's way to their rooms, wooyoung suddenly waved at someone, and that made them look at a boy with purple highlights together with two other guys, one with choppy bangs and the other had sharp, defined features. features that seemed familiar to jihae.

"san! are you going to class? let's go together!" the silver haired boy offered.

san looked at his friends momentarily, and they gave him a nod.

"are they your friends?" the other nodded again, not forming words. "oh, hi! i'm wooyoung. what grade are you in?"

"we're both juniors." seonghwa replied, trying not to look at the girl he could feel was staring.

wooyoung gasped."then, you're my hyungs! these are my best friends, jihae and yunho." he introduced the other two standing there, waiting for him to finish making friends.

"hey."

"hi. um, have we met before?" jihae now directly asked seonghwa, which he couldn't avoid this time.

he thought about what he should say. and the first thing that came to his head was, "no, i don't think so. unless you mean you've seen me around campus."

hongjoong and san looked at him with a face of confusion. they thought it wasn't a big deal for him but he's hiding it.

"ah, my mistake. you just seem familiar." the girl scratched her neck.

"he kinda looks like toothless." yunho claimed with his pointer and thumb on his chin.

wooyoung squinted his eyes. "really? he kinda looks like an angry bird to me."

hongjoong began laughing at his friend that was nearly sulking. san was too flustered to laugh because wooyoung was there, his two year crush.

"oh, shit! mr. kwan is gonna kill us!" the silver haired boy grabbed san as they began sprinting. "nice to meet you, guys! see you around!"

the boy being dragged didn't have enough time to react. and when he did, he realized that the guy he liked most of his college years was holding his hand.

"i bet you 10,000 won, san's gonna be talking about this whole day during the weekend." the shortest guy claimed.

yunho looked at his watch. "yeah, i better run, too. i do not wanna deal with a salty teacher first thing in the morning."

"i'll go ahead as well. hope to see you around more often!" jihae waved goodbye to the newly met juniors.

"same here."

once the two sophomores were gone, the blue haired male smacked his best friend's head.

"ow! what was that for?!"

"what's up with you and jihae? why won't you tell her you saw her at the bar?" his friend eyed him really suspiciously.

"nothing! she accidentally told me some things i wasn't supposed to know. she met me as a bartender. it's better to let it stay that way." he concluded, in hopes that the other would understand where he's coming from.

"alright. i believe you. for now." hongjoong huffed.

"let's just get to class."

"i have, like 10 minutes to spare."

"i guess i'll go, then. see you later, joong."

"yeah, see you, too."
