number.

"um, i have a big favor to ask you." she bit her lip nervously which made seonghwa very curious.

"shoot."

the girl sighed."can you not tell anyone about me drinking at your bar? i mean, not at your bar but you're there. wait, i mean, that i was drinking and you're the-"

the boy could see the stress in her face to which he just chuckled. "i get it."

jihae took some time to calm herself and face seonghwa.

"will you please keep it a secret?" she pleaded.

"if i had any plans of telling anyone, i would have done it a bit sooner. don't you think?" he smiled and so did jihae.

"thank you."

"no problem. now would you like anything to drink?" he asked, this time doing his job.

"oh, um." the girl found it awkward to drink now since seonghwa was here. "i think i'll just go. i don't wanna bother you working."

seonghwa stopped what he was doing and looked at her. "i really don't mind. basically, i'm just here to stand until ten forty-five." he was basically trying to get jihae to stay.

"oh. then, what about the customers?" she asked before realizing that she was the only one there besides seonghwa and some staff. "oh."

"exactly." the boy laughed. "so how 'bout keeping me company?"

jihae finally felt at ease, knowing she could trust the bartender and smiled. "of course." she did love hanging out with him yesterday.

"so, when is wooyoung coming back?" seonghwa asked while wiping the counter.

"i think on tuesday? yeah." the girl recalled. "why, you interested in him?"

the boy almost choked on air after the words left the girl's mouth. "no." he let out a sigh. "but san is. i'm also straight, by the way."

"that's what they all say before liking wooyoung." jihae jokes.

"i really-" he simply sighed, not bothering to fight back.

the girl simply let out a laugh as seonghwa sat beside her. "kidding. you're so fun to tease."

"glad you're having fun." he sarcastically smiled.

"by the way, are you sure san is okay with you blurting out his crush on wooyoung. i don't think he'll like the fact that i know." she asked with concern.

"nah," the boy just shrugged it off. "even the dumbest of the dumbest will know. i think, by now, wooyoung himself does, too."

"really? interesting. i wonder why woo isn't avoiding him if he does."

"huh? don't tell me he avoids people who likes him." seonghwa paused for a bit to think. "wait, he avoids guys who like him, doesn't he?"

the girl nodded hesitantly, hoping the bartender won't get the wrong idea.

it's obvious that wooyoung's having a hard time about his sexuality and nobody really wants to force him to make up his mind already. they're just to support him whatever his decision is, as long as he's not hurting others.

"but i don't think wooyoung's that stupid. is he very dense?" the junior asked pretty casually.

jihae snickered at the comment. "please. one time he told me that mrs. jung had a crush on him." she rolled her eyes. "she's married for god's sake."

the boy looked at her, confused. "um..."

"what i'm trying to say is, woo is can tell whether someone likes him, or anyone else, really." the sophomore explained.

"and why mrs. jung?"

"oh, i just wanted to slightly ruin his reputation." she said while giving a cheeky smile, which reflected on seonghwa's face.

"but i wonder why woo hasn't mentioned him to us, though. he always tells us names of anyone who he thinks likes him, girl or boy." jihae narrated. "if san's crush is super obvious as you claimed, i'm pretty sure wooyoung would tell someone from our group."

"he didn't mention san's name? even once?" the boy asked.

"i mean he does, but not this guy has a crush on me type of way. more on him being skillful, yet really quiet?"

the junior bursted out in fits of laughter. "san? quiet? he's probably as loud as wooyoung."

the statement made the girl giggle as well.

both of them were having fun talking, and they never really got bored. as the conversation went on, jihae was starting to notice how truly good-looking seonghwa is. it was like he was god's favorite and actually took time to create him, while the rest was just poof you're alive.

she was enjoying how the junior narrates all his stories in an animated way, while looking really excited or putting on his infamous pained smile.

that was until someone opened the door harshly, and that made the two turn their heads towards it.

"jihae! jeon jihae! oh, my god." it was yunho, sweating and panting, wearing a simple white shirt and jeans.

after his eyes scanned the area, he found her, which wasn't hard at all.

"you psycho! what if i overslept? what if i was out of town?" he stormed in, and grabbed her shoulders. "i don't smell alcohol. you didn't drink yet. thank god. you know, sometimes-

"i'm a pain in the ass. yes, yes, dear friend. heard that before." jihae chuckled. "relax, i'm fine. plus, seonghwa's here."

she gestured to the boy beside her, who yunho noticed now.

"oh, hi! um, do you usually come here this early?" the blonde asks quite awkwardly.

"oh, no. i work here."

"i see." yunho nodded as he turned to jihae. "what would you do if he wasn't here? you're so irresponsible." he ruffled her hair playfully.

jihae whined and pouted. "i would have come crawling to your apartment. be happy i didn't disturb your precious sleep."

"well, thank you but i'd much rather have my sleep disturbed than my best friend in danger." he claimed as he took a seat beside her.

"awe, babe, stop." jihae teasingly said.

yunho made a disgusted face and laughed as he pushed her slightly. "ew, go away."

the duo was having fun, while seonghwa, on the other hand, was feeling left out.

he didn't mind yunho being there. it's just that he thought talking to jihae was really fun and he didn't expect it to end so soon. the sophomores were also really close to each other so he really can't compete with that.

"seonghwa?" a voice suddenly snapped him out of his awkward state.

"this is yunho. my soulmate." she introduced them to each other. "yunho, this is seonghwa, my new best friend."

the boys were taken aback by the introduction so yunho took it upon his hands to save himself.

"don't mind her. i'm jeong yunho, sophomore, computer science major. i think we've met before?"

"yeah, hallways, i think?" the junior said. "i'm park seonghwa."

"if i'm not mistaken, you're in junior year, right?" yunho asked.

"yep. i major in cinematography."

the blonde's ears suddenly perked up at the information. "wait, like you work with cameras and all?"

"i mean, yeah. we also do script writing and stuff." the junior explained

"that's so cool. i have a cousin working as a script writer now. he said it's really fun!" the male sophomore's eyes beamed as he told seonghwa.

"that's great! cinematography can be stressful but amazing at the same time."

"same with computers! hyung, you really gotta help me write a story for a video game sometimes." the younger boy said.

"sure thing. wanna exchange numbers?" seonghwa asked.

"hey, why didn't you ask for my number when we first met?" jihae suddenly piped up.

the question made the junior a bit surprised as he didn't know how to answer.

yunho smacked the girl's head lightly. "that's because he's not interested, you dork."

"what? no! i, um," he really got tongue tied this time.

"here." jihae handed him her phone. "i'll ask instead."

"whoa, whoa, whoa. jihae, you got brave." yunho chuckled.

"oh, uh, sure." you couldn't tell, but seonghwa's heart was beating madly and his face was flushed.

he typed his number and returned the phone. "h-here."

"seonghwa hyung!" someone opened the doors again, this time singing the junior's name. "let's hangout."

there were four boys who entered, only one being familiar to the sophomores.

"mingi, his shift isn't over until thirty minutes." a chestnut haired boy said.

they all went to the counter, as they saw three people who were already there, and recognized them immediately.

"oh, it's jihae and yunho." san said as he waved at them and they waved back.

everyone seemed to freeze, until san noticed seonghwa.

"uh, hyung, why are you so red?" he reached out his hand to touch seonghwa's forehead but the junior quickly got up.

"i'll get you guys something to drink. on the house." he said as he rushed to the kitchen.

"okay, then?" san sighed. "so are you all gonna introduce yourselves or do i have to do it?" he asked the group behind him.

"oh, hey. i'm kang yeosang." the chestnut haired boy said, and now that jihae could see him properly, he was really, really beautiful.

"my name is choi jongho." a guy with perfectly tan skin and pretty cheekbones said.

"jongho? aren't you the guy i texted with seonghwa's phone?" jihae asked which caught the attention of others.

"ah, yeah." the youngest scratched his head. "sorry to bother you that day."

"oh, no! you didn't bother at all." she smiled. "nice to finally meet you!"

"you, too."

they all looked at the one boy who hadn't introduced himself yet.

"i'm song mingi, but you can call me princess." he winked, which made his friends shake their heads in disappointment.

"not this again."

"hi! i'm yunho and this is jihae."

"we know." they chuckled.

just in time, seonghwa returned with drinks. "here you go. luckily they had some juice."

after a couple of minutes, they finished their drinks and the juniors shift was done.

"are the two of you busy?" san ask the pair of best friends.

"i have nothing to do." the girl answered.

"me, too, actually." and then yunho.

san smiled, showing his dimples. "then, do you wanna hangout with us?"

"yeah! it'll be so much fun!" mingi exclaimed loudly, earning hushes from yeosang.

"we're gonna watch a movie. you two wanna come?" seonghwa said.

the pair looked at each other. "why not?" they said in sync.
