chocolate.

seonghwa had no idea how he ended up in this situation. the little girl had somehow managed to convince him to come along her house.

jihae tried telling her that he was busy but yeseul looked so heart broken and seemed like she'll throw a tantrum right then and there, so he agreed.

soon, the junior learned that the child came from a well off family, causing her to be spoiled. however, she was still very kind and playful.

the three of them were currently in the living room, watching barbie and eating the snacks they bought.

"eonnie! look at the prince. he looks like seonghwa oppa!" yeseul squealed upon seeing her crush on screen. she was too focused on it.

the sophomore chuckled, not really intending for anyone to hear her reply. "i'm pretty sure oppa's more handsome."

seonghwa snorted at the comment. "did you just call me oppa?"

jihae was surprised but kept her
cool. "no." she replied, slightly embarrassed and oblivious to the pink tinted on her cheeks.

the boy secretly put a small amount of chocolate, which was from one of the treats they bought, on his thumbs. he then, proceeded to pinched the girl's cheeks.

"you're so cute when you blush." he stated, trying not to laugh.

"hey! i don't blush. i-it's just my skin." she tried defending.

"oppa, aren't you going to ask jihae eonnie to be your girlfriend?" yeseul who didn't watch the tv anymore, asked so suddenly. they had to make sure if she was the one who said it.

"yeseul, no." jihae gigglied. "how did you even come up with that?"

"i mean, that depends if your eonnie will answer me." the junior butted in, making the girl jokingly glare at him.

"see! eonnie and oppa look like barbie and ken!" yeseul clapped her hands as she gave them her biggest smile.

they just laughed with her since they didn't completely disagree on her statement. they both had visuals to die for and no one's saying otherwise.

the next thing they heard was the door opening and footsteps getting in the house.

the two visitors instinctively stood up, so that they could greet whoever arrived.

it was lee yeonggi, yeseul's older brother and the eldest son of the lee house hold.

he took off his shoes and noticed an unfamiliar face beside jihae.

yeseul hid behind jihae because, she didn't really like her older brother. he was so strict and always busy. never played with her once. he was a lawyer, you see.

"yeonggi! hi, you're home early." jihae smiled. the man infront of them can be intimidating but she somehow managed to befriend him. even though, he was five years older
than her.

he scanned the house. it was fairly clean except for the food on the table, and this guy he's never seen before.

"jihae." he acknowledged. "i'll let it go this time but try not to bring your boyfriend over when you babysit yeseul."

"awe, gi. always so considerate." she teased which earned her a glare. "he's not my boyfriend. yeseul was actually the one who wanted him to come over. isn't that right, baby?"

she gestured to the kid beside her who just stuck her tongue out to her brother.

yeonggi sighed since he knew he couldn't do anything about it. he knew yeseul had a dislike for him and he doesn't blame her.

"i see. and who are you, may i ask?" he tilted his head to seonghwa who awkwardly stood there.

"i'm park seonghwa, sir." he bowed, feeling really intimidated, to which jihae just snickered to.

"alright. after you clean, you can both leave." he informed, walking to his room.

"sir?" the girl mocked the junior.

the boy rolled his eyes. "what? he was really scary!" he tried to defend himself in a whisper.

yeseul suddenly tugged on the sophomore's shirt, getting her attention.

"eonnie, i'm sleepy." she said as she yawned.

jihae was quick to sweep her up on her arms, and was about to head to her room. she looked at seonghwa with a sheepish smile.

"can you clean up while i put her to bed?" she shyly asked.

"of course."

when the child was finally put to bed and the cinematography major was done cleaning up, jihae knocked on yeonggi's door.

"yeonggi. we're going now!" she said, not wanting to seem rude and just left.

the door opened slowly, revealing the man in his casual wear instead of his usual suit and tie.

"did you clean already?" he questioned, earning a nod from the girl.

yeonggi stepped out of his room, and went to the sofa where the junior was waiting.

"seonghwa, right? can you wait outside while i talk to jihae?" he politely asked the favor and the boy simply nodded.

once seonghwa was out of sight,
jihae immediately questioned him.
"what is it?"

yeonggi took an envelope from his bag, a sign which the girl didn't really like. "gi, we already talked about this."

"then, at least give it to your friend. i really don't like owing anyone."

the sophomore sighed pushing back the envelope in his hand. "you don't owe us anything. just think of it as friends helping each other out."

yeonggi sighed, knowing he can't win against the psychology major."i really have no idea how you make me take no for an answer."

"that's because you love me." jihae grinned and the male just replied with a sneer.

"one more thing." he handed her a handkerchief. once she took it from him, she looked at him confused.

the lawyer pointed at his left cheek, indicating there was something on jihae's. she wiped it with the piece of cloth and noticed a brown stain.

"i guess you had too much fun." yeonggi claimed, clearing his throat.

"park seonghwa." she muttered.

"well, then. be careful on your way back." he said as he sent her off.

when she was outside, she noticed seonghwa on his phone and his back facing her.

she ran up to him and jumped on his back, startling him and almost making them fall.

"you jerk! how dare you put chocolate on my face?" she said, still clinging on his back, making it hard for the boy to stand straight.

once he regained his balance and adjusted the girl so that he could piggyback her properly, he replied with "awe man. i thought it was gonna be there the whole day."

the girl huffed, placing her head on his shoulder. "for your punishment, you have to carry me to my house."

"that's like a fifteen minute walk." seonghwa grumbled.

"well, better start moving, mister."

°

they were already in front of the jeons' house and were ready to say goodbye. if you're wondering, no, seonghwa didn't really carry her all the way. it was about three minutes in the walk he gave up.

the sun was already setting and it's golden rays really made the girl appreciate the junior's looks more.

jihae was about to offer yunho to pick him up since she found out that his car was fine, and he's probably going home from mingi's around this time when her mother went to greet them.

"jihae, you're home just in time! we already made dinner." mrs. jeon informed as she hugged her daughter.

she quickly glanced at the male who automatically bowed. "and may i ask who this fine young man is?"

"oh, this is seonghwa. he accompanied me since it was getting kinda late." the girl chuckled.

"you forced me to piggyback you, you know." he whispered and pouted which made both females laugh.

"i'm sorry, hwa." she clung onto his arm.

mrs. jeon watched them fondly with a warm smile plastered on her lips.

"why don't you join us for dinner, seonghwa?" the woman suggested, leaving the two baffled.

"i- uh-"

"mom! we're having dinner already?"

"yes, dear. an early dinner. i thought i made too much but i guess it was just enough." her mother's eyes twinkled. "i'll see you guys inside."

mrs. jeon didn't even let the boy answer as she signalled them to follow her.

seonghwa looked at jihae with a stressed face. "is it really okay?"

the girl nodded. "yep. my mom always invites everyone over. but if you don't feel like it, it's fine! i can just tell her-"

"i-it's not like i have a choice." he chuckled. "you're mom looked so happy!"

the sophomore giggled. "you sure? you're not sick of being with me? or being forced into things? i mean yeseul first, then i asked you to piggyback me, then now my mom's telling you to join us."

he shook his head. "i had fun. plus, i don't wanna be rude." he reassured. "just try not to let me carry you again. ah, my back."

"hey!" she hit his arm jokingly. "i'm not that heavy."

"are you guys coming in?" they heard jungkook yell in a somewhat annoyed tone.

"coming!"

seonghwa took hesitant steps as he walked behind the girl.

"don't worry. i'll have yunho pick
you up." she said before opening the
door, revealing her mother and
sister, smiling while her brother was
there crossing his arms and
squinting his eyes.

"soyeon, kindly set up the plates while you, jihae, help me prepare the food."

"but jungkook-" jihae tried protesting.

"who do you think cooked? now, shoo! so that we can eat sooner." her brother shooed her away, which made rolled her eyes and comply.

"you better not scare him." she warned.

jungkook puts on an innocent face. "since when have i ever?"

the sophomore made eye contact with seonghwa, "just scream if he does anything."

"i won't!" the eldest declared.

when the girl went to the dinning room, jungkook instantly stared at the junior. the glare on his doe eyes were evident.

"talk to me. are you and my baby sister dating?"
