Say Cheese
Barry clicked the camera and winced, slowly bringing the camera down from his face as he came face to face with your glare. He gave you one of his sweet innocent smiles so you couldn't glare at him forever. You pointed to his camera and inched your finger for him to come closer.
He stood up and walked over to you on the opposite side of the living room, sitting down on the arm of the single couch you were curled up on reading a book. You point to the camera again.
"Show me. How many pictures have you been taking, Stalker."
Barry chuckled but showed you the camera, smiling wide. "Sorry, it's film."
You punched him lightly on the leg, laughing along with him. "Oh come on! You have been taking pictures of me since we started dating months ago. Are they all on film?"
"Yup." Your boyfriend replied as he laid his head across you, letting his legs dangle off the side of the couch. He reached up and started playing with some of your hair.
"So am I ever going to see them?"
Barry nodded and smiled. "Yup!"
You rolled your eyes and looked back to your book, loving the feel of him playing with your hair. "Is 'yup' the only word you know?" You give him a side glance.
"Yup." He whispered as he leaned up and kissed your cheek then laid back down. You snorted and smiled but didn't take your eyes off your book.
Barry just laid there, completely content with how things were. He was happily dating you and, for now, Metahumans were keeping to themselves. He played with your soft hair with one hand as he slowly pulled up the camera with his other, hoping to catch another beautiful candid photo of you.
"Barry, I can see what you are doing." You quietly pointed out as you turned a page.
"Then say 'cheese'!" He replied.
You looked down and smirked, giving him a silly face. "Feta!"
The camera clicked and the two of you snorted at your lame pun. Barry brought the camera down and just smiled wide at you, making your insides go warm. You clear your throat and look back to your book.
"You are making it hard to concentrate, dear."
"Good." Barry smirked then pretended to get comfortable on you, burying his face in your blanket on your legs. You rolled your eyes but moved a hand to run your fingers through his hair.
After a while, you started to feel your legs falling asleep. You looked down and smiled a bit. Looks like it wasn't just your legs that fell asleep. Gingerly, you moved your legs, holding your breath in hopes of not waking your sleeping man. But he stirred so you reached up and stroked his hair back, smiling to yourself at how adorable he looked.
"Hey honey, my legs are falling asleep. We can move to the bed." You kindly whispered to him as he turned to look up at you, a tired smile of his own pulling at his lips.
He barely nodded and rolled over onto the ground, chuckling as you laughed. You gingerly stood but before you could take a step you were swooped up and suddenly in your room sitting on your bed. You looked up at Barry and smirked, not at all bothered by his quick actions. You made yourself comfortable but froze the moment you heard his camera go off, again.
Before you could say anything, Barry gingerly put his camera aside and tossed himself on the bed next to you, cuddling up to you. "That was the last one, promise."
You rolled your eyes and welcomed his warm embrace. "I'm just worried you'll look back at those pictures and suddenly regret dating me."
Barry almost pushed you off the bed with the way he pulled away from you, looking shocked and hurt. "How did you find out my foolproof plan to finally get rid of you?" He smiled wide as he shook his head and buried it in the nape of your neck as he pulled you closer. "Well, looks like I'll have to think of something else."
You snorted but smiled at his jesting words. He always knew what to say and do to help you feel better, even when you brought it upon yourself. You were about to fall asleep but you had to ask him a question that was sitting on the back of your mind. Turning just enough to give Barry a kiss on his cheek, you whispered, breaking the silence.
"What do you plan on doing with those pictures, truly?"
You feel Barry shake slightly with silent laughter. "You'll see." With his eyes still closed, he leaned down and kissed your nose lightly before pulling you closer to him. "Now rest. Your nagging wears me out."
You rolled your eyes but smiled. Kissing him one more time on his cheek, you cuddled closer to him, falling to sleep quickly.

"Barry, it has been three weeks and I have not seen your film camera anywhere."
Barry about choked on the sip of water he just took. You waltzed into your kitchen where you saw your boyfriend make fast work of your leftover food, casually making himself at home. Barry turned in his chair and smiled up at you, his eyes alight with a hint of mischief.
"Oh, hey. You're home early." Barry wiped his mouth and stood to give you a kiss on the cheek.
You smiled as he kissed your cheek. "They let me off early after I did the double shift all last week." You then turned to him, giving him a mocked scowl. "Now stop dodging the question this time. You have been acting so strange lately."
Barry gave you a nervous laugh as he scratched the back of his neck. "Strange? Don't I always act strange?"
You playfully rolled your eyes as you took a bite of the food on his plate. "More than usual, honestly."
Barry nervously laughed again, turning around so you wouldn't see his worried expression as he tried to think up something for his odd behavior you have noticed. Giving up with a sigh, Barry turned back around and walked up behind you, wrapping his arms around your middle and kissing your neck. "I'm sorry."
You bite your lip and smile a little, resting a hand on his arms. "You're fine. I'm just tired I guess." You turn in his arms and peck his lips. "You want to come rest with me?"
Barry pretended to think hard about it then smiled wide, nodding. "Sure, looks like I have some time to kill."
You snorted and shook your head. "How gracious of you." You kissed his cheek then left his arms to go change.
Barry watched you leave, letting out a breath. He walked over to his satchel, pulling out a large scrapbook. Barry smiled wide at it but quickly hid it behind his back as he heard you come up behind him.
You raised and eyebrow at him but shook your head. "Sorry to startle you, I just needed to get a glass of water. You ok?"
Barry nodded almost a little too enthusiastically. "Oh yeah, totally. Why wouldn't I be?"
You shook your head again. "Alright alright." You gave him a worried smile.
Barry nodded, cleared his throat then rushed upstairs, stashing the scrapbook under the bed.
You took a little long in the kitchen, cleaning up a bit after Barry and putting away stuff you have been ignoring for a while. You brush some hair out of your face as you enter your room and see Barry conked out on the bed. You smiled to yourself, leaning against the doorframe just watching his resting form. You glanced at your little polaroid on your desk, maybe finally seeing why Barry took so many candid pictures of you.
You reached over and took the polaroid and sneaked over to Barry to get a better shot. You brought it up to your face and clicked the button, making yourself jump at the loud sound. You held your breath as you watched the camera printing out the picture noisily, praying it didn't wake up the sleeping man in front of you.
As the picture finished printing you reached for it but it fell to the floor, sliding under the bed a bit. You crouched down and reached under the bed, cursing your clumsy hands. You froze as your hand came into contact with a hard object. You don't remember putting anything under the bed recently so it must have been accidently pushed. You grasped it and pulled it out.
Your heart started to beat wildly as you spied a picture of you and Barry on the front of it. Suddenly you got the feeling that you weren't supposed to look at it. With heat rising to your face and your hands shaking, you quickly pushed it back under the bed, the fallen picture of Barry forgotten in your haste.
You gently got into bed and tried your best to fall asleep, but your mind kept pulling up the scrapbook and the warm feeling you got back to the front of your mind. You shook your head and cuddled close to Barry, welcoming his embrace as you just laid there, trying your best to distract yourself from thinking too much about what you just saw.

Barry ran his hands through his hair again as he continued to walk back and forth in your living room. The scrapbook held securely under his arm kept him from wanting to run far away. The sound of your front door opening caused him to freeze, hiding the book behind his back.
You entered the room and smiled at him, putting your stuff down and walking up to him. "Hey, honey. Surprised to see you here, though."
Barry didn't say anything but stepped forward and captured your lips with his in a hasty kiss that ended all too soon in your mind. He pulls back, his eyes closed as he took steady breaths. You were about to say something but instead, something was gently pressed into your hands. You looked down and you let out a gasp. It was the scrapbook. You look up and catch Barry looking at you with his beautiful sea green eyes.
"Happy anniversary." He whispered as he gave you a heart stopping smile.
You quickly sat down on the nearest couch, bringing your hand up to your mouth. Barry sat down next to you and rubbed your back, pulling you to him as he reached to open the book. You quickly stopped his hand, looking up at him.
"I saw this the other night. Under the bed. I just didn't-"
"(Y/n), unless you are going to break up with me right here, right now, I think it can wait." Barry winked and kissed your nose.
You smiled and looked back to the scrapbook, leaning back onto Barry as he showed you page after page of all the pictures he had taken of you. Tears freely fell and your laughs mixed as you both spent who knows how long on that couch looking at his pictures. You told him if he ever gets tired of being The Flash he could go into the photography business. He just laughed and shook his head, kissing your head saying that he wants to keep is picture skills just for you.
You smiled wide at that, loving how sweet he was to you. But when he turned to the last page in the book, your smile fell. There on the last page was the picture you took of Barry that night accompanied by a similar polaroid picture of you sleeping on his chest. Under the pictures was a quote from a fortune cookie that you had opened on the first date the two of you had.
"Don't be blind to the love right in front of you."
You feel Barry lean down and kiss your shoulder then whisper into your ear. "And I don't plan to."
You turned to say something back to him but he stopped you with a smile and the most loving kiss you have gotten from him yet as he held you gently in his arms, the book left but not forgotten on the couch next to you two in each other's arms.
Haha...ok so one night I was not getting any sleep what so ever so I just started messing around with my video editor on my phone and made this little baby. Obviously, the song and video clips are not mine but I wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy!
