The eight questioning eyes were looking at her making her embarrassed. She took a min realise to what she did but she felt calmness evolving inside her when she called him as her husband in front of everyone.Her cheeks turned pink unknown to her and everyone. Her trail of thoughts came to an end when Anirudh snapped his fingers in front of her.

Anirudh - kahan kho gyi?

Bondita - kahin nhi! Kya hua?

Anirudh - kya hua? Kya nhi hua!

Bondita - kya nhi hua?

Som, Naina and batuk thought of leaving the couple alone. They began to buy the essentials.

Anirudh - Bondita! Tumne mujhe sabke samne apna pati bataya!

Bondita - Wohh.. Woh ye log humari baat sune ko raazi nhi the aur baat had se zyada aage badh sakti thi. Rokne ki koshish ki par woh log nhi ruke aur toh aur jo dimaag mein aaya woh meine zabaan se bayan kar diya... Maaf kariyega, meine kuch jaan buchke nhhi kiya.

Anirudh - Ohh.. Theek hai koi baat nhi! Mein agar tumhari jagah hota toh..

Bondita little hope inside her - toh? Aap bhi yahi karte?

Anirudh - nhi kuch aur karne  ki sochta! Woh kya hai na barrister hoon.

Bondita in a sad voice- hmm.

Anirudh - waise woh..

Bondita - kya ?

Anirudh - woh tumne mujhe maaf kiya?

Bondita with little smile - haan.

Anirudh- subha meine woh sab jaan buchke bhi kiya tha! Woh.. He narrated the whole incident.

Bondita - Ohh Acha isliye! Par itna gussa karna sehat ke liye acha bhi nhi hai. Agar aap apni Baat rakhne ka jazba rakhte hain toh Samne waale ki baat sunne ki himmat bhi rakhni chahiye. Jaise aap apne Court mein rakhte hain.

Anirudh - haan.

Bondita - waise meine puri tarike se maaf nhi kiya hai.

Anirudh - matlab?

Bondita - aapko aadha maaf kiya hai meine.

Anirudh - Acha toh puri maafi ke liye kya karna padega?

Bondita - puchka khilana padega! Manzoor hai?

Anirudh - puchka! Chalo theek hai!

Saying this both went to the stall. Anirudh ordered a plate for bondita.

Bondita - aap nhi khayenge?

Anirudh - mujhe yeh sab pasand nhi hai!

Bondita - Arre par puchka khaane se kon mana kar sakta hai! Aapko pata bhi hai Yeh kitna aacha lagta hai khaane mein!

Anirudh - haan lagta hoga par mujhe bhi pasand.

Bondita mummered - ubayu babu!

Anirudh - kuch kaha tumne?

Bondita, instantly - nahi toh! Turning towards the puchka waala she asked him to make spicy puchka.
Bondita was having her puchka while Anirudh was admiring the Fair. He remembered when he was small he, his mother and his father would come in the fair and spend family time. He saw bondita savouring the puchka and making faces while eating it like his mother used to do. He saw a glimpse of his mother. His mother was just like bondita or Bondita was just like his mother. He was in his thoughts when bondita suddenly came and told to open his mouth. Confused, Anirudh did as she said and was shocked when Bondita stuffed a puchka in his mouth. He glared her and having no option he started to eat. Bondita was laughing while seeing him but soon got worried when she saw him coughing. She got a water in a kulhad and made him drink while rubbing his back hesitantly. After making him drink water, bondita discovered that she was too close with him and instantly moved back.

Anirudh - yeh kya kiya tumne?

Bondita, in a low voice, looking at the ground - maaf kar dijiye!

Anirudh - maaf karun? Tumhe jab meine kaha tha mujhe Yeh sab pasand nhi toh kyun khilaya?

Bondita - mein toh masti kar rhi thi par..

Anirudh- aisi masti aainda se mere sath mat karna! Bujhle tumi?

Bondita - haan!

Anirudh giving a last angry look to her turned to call others. As soon as he turned, bondita stated to make funny faces behind him. Soon all of them arrived and they started their journey back to Haveli.

They reached in matter of 20 mins.

Inside the haveli

Anirudh anger had calmed a bit and straight away went to his study after greeting Trilochan kaka and ordering Bihari to get his clothes. Other too retired to their rooms. Trilochan kaka had ordered them to rest a little and then come for dinner.

Inside the study

Anirudh had come after freshening up and stood in front of the mirror. He was drying his hair with towel when he felt an intense gaze on him. He turned around to see no one was there. He saw that his study room's door was little open.He went to close the door but checked if someone was there or not. He found no one outside and closed the door. He shrugged his shoulders and wore his clothes. He heard a knock on the door. He asked to come in whosoever was there on the door.

Anirudh - andar aa jao!

Bondita peeped in-pakka?

Anirudh - haa,aise kyun puch rhi ho?

Bondita - woh apka bharosa nhi hai kab kisi aur ka gussa mujhpe nikal den.

Anirudh narrowing his eyes - nhi karunga gussa, andar aa sakti ho!

Bondita - woh maafi mangne aayi thi! Meine bhale hi aapko jaan buchke puchka khilaya aapke mana karne ke bawajood par meri niyat saaf thi! Mera aapko dard dene ka koi irada nhi tha! Shotti!

Anirudh - hmm, koi baat nhi! Aage se Dhyaan rakhna.

Bondita - aapne maaf kiya?

Anirudh - ummm...haan par pura nhi!

Bondita - pura nhi, matlab!?

Anirudh - aadha kiya hai aur aadha nhi!

Bondita confused was about to ask when she remembered he was doing the same thing and replaying the same scene what she did in the fair. She understood that he had forgiven her but was teasing her. She decided to play along.

Bondita - Acha, toh puri maafi maangne ke liye kya karna padega?

Anirudh - hmmm.. Sochke bataunga!

Bondita - Acha ji!

Anirudh - haan ji!

Bondita - waise agar aapki anumati ho toh kya mein aapke pustakalye se koi kitab le sakti hoon?

Anirudh - ijazat hai!

Bondita - dhanyavaad!
Saying this she went to get the book while Anirudh sat on his chair with smile lingering on his face, unknown to him  with the upcoming case files.

Bondita taking the book asked - mein idhar baith ke padh sakti hoon kya?

Anirudhh - kamre mein jaake aaram se padh sakti ho!

Bondita - haan padh sakti hoon par kitab agar idhar udhar go gyi toh aap mujhpe baras padenge!

Anirudh glaring her said - theek hai, baith jao!

Bondita with a wide smile sat down while Anirudh saw her  and engrossed himself in his case files.

After 5 mins Anirudh heard some snoring sounds and saw that bondita has slept with a open mouth.

Anirudh saw her with disbelief.
Anirudh - yeh yahan padhne ke liye aayi thi yaa sone ke liye?
He tried to wake her up but all in vain.
He got the blanket and covered her properly. Bondita snuggled inside it and slept comfortably. Anirudhh shaked his head in disbelief and went back to his files.
All this was watched by a pair of eyes. She was watching Anirudh when he was drying his hairs but backed off when she saw Anirudh was coming to check.Jealous by Bondita, she pushed the doors of the study and stood in front of Anirudh.
Anirudh startled by the sudden comotion was confused to see Saudamini in his study.

Anirudh-Mini tum Yahan? He checked the clock. It's 7.30 pm.

Saudamini with a fake smile - Haan! Woh kuch kitabein leni thi!

Anirudh, surprised-kitabein? Tum kitabon ke Saath kya karogi?

Saudamini - kitabein padhne ke liye hote hain na Anirudh. Toh padhne ke liye hi mangoonhi na!

Anirudh, stood up with shock - kya? Kya Kaha Tumne?

Saudamini, confused - kya kaha?

Anirudh - Saudamini Bhaumik, jo kabhi kitabon ko chuti nhi thi woh aaj kitab lene aayi hai? Wow!

Saudamini - Anirudh! Mazak mat karo! Kitabein deni hai toh do warna mein jaa rhi hoon!

Anirudh - konsi chahiye?

Saudamini - woh Romantic novels chahiye the!

Anirudh - hey bhagwaan! Kitab padhni bhi thi toh iss kisam ki! Waah!

Saudamini - ab de bhi do Anirudh!

Anirudh - de rha hoon!

Saudamini - acchi waali dena!

Anirudh - hmm.

Saudamini intentionally made the books fall on the ground to wake bondita up. She saw bondita stirred in her sleep. Hearing the voice Anirudh turne to inquire.

Anirudh - kya gira?

Saudamini - woh mujhse galti se Yeh kitabein gir gyi! Mein utha deti hoon.

Anirudh - Dhyaan se mini! Bondita so rhi hai!

Bondita - so rhi thi!

Anirudh - tum uth kyun gyi?

Bondita - aapki wajah se!

Anirudh - meri wajah se?

Bondita - aur nhi toh kya? Itni awazein kar rhe the! Itni raat ko baat hi kisse kar rhe the... Didi aap yahan?

Saudamini - haan kuch kitabein lene aayi thi!

Bondita - oh Acha! Mein chalti hoon kyunki..

From outside,
Kaaka - bahuuuuu! Kidhar ho, idhar aao. Anirudh chuckled, bondita smiled while Saudamini made faces seeing the duo.

Bondita - chalti hoon. Saying this she went away.

Saudamini - par woh kamre mein bhi toh so sakti thi na? Yahan study mein..?

Anirudh - woh tumhari tarah nhi hai! Mera matalab usse kitabein padhna pasand hai toh kitab padhte padhte so gyi thi.

Saudamini faked a smile and turned around. She saw that bondita was coming towards the study. Anirudh came and stood at  distance from Saudamini. He called her.

Anirudh - yeh lo mini! Yeh achi hai, yeh padh sakti ho!

Saudamini smiled and took the book from his hand and kept on the table. Confused by his behavior, Anirudh asked - kya hua mini?

Saudamini - tumhare chehre par kuch laga hai!

Anirudh - kahan?

Saudamini - mein saaf kar deti hoon!

Anirudh - mini mujhe bata do mein saaf kar lunga.

Saudamini - mere hote huye mein aisa karne dungi kya?

Anirudh - matlab..

Saudamini came very close to Anirudh, took the pallu of her saree and started to clean his face when there was nothing. For a moment or two even Anirudh got lost because they loved each other but soon realised and pushed her a little from her and stood at a distance. He turned around and said - raat bohot hi gyi hai, jao apne ghar.

Saudamini came and back hugged him. Anirudh was startled by this and try to remove her hands.

Saudamini - pyaar tumse kiya hai, mera ghar toh tumhi huye na!

Anirudh - mini yeh kya kar rhi ho! He released himself from the hug, because he was feeling uncomfortable. He looked at her with anger evident in his eyes.

Saudamini - kya kar rhi hoon Anirudh?

Anirudh - yeh sab mere paas aana..

Saudamini - toh ab tumhe mera paas aana bhi khatakne laga hai?

Anirudh - dekho..

From behind,

Kaka - Arre kyun nhi khatkega? Shaadi shuda hai! Patni hai uski iss ghar mein! Humari bahu hai, bondita!

Both of them turned to see kaka and batuk standing at door. Anirudh tried to explain this situation but kaka told him to not to speak ahead. Saudamini was standing speechless and shocked as she didn't expect kaka and batuk but bondita. Seeing saudamini shocked, batuk smirked.

Flash back
Bondita was coming towards the study to call Anirudh for dinner. Batuk who was passing by saw bondita and decided to tease her.

Batuk-boudi!!

Bondita - haan.

Batuk - aaj jo mele mein hua, woh kya tha?

Bondita, confused - kya hua?

Batuk - "Woh Mere Pati Hai". Jahan tak mein jaan saka hoon aap toh iss shaadi ko maane se inkaar kar rhi thi, par aaj jo hua woh toh kuch aur hi darshaa rha hai...

Bondita, slightly blushing - arree woh unlogon ko chup kara ne ka koi tarika nhi mila toh isliye..

Batuk--Acha toh kisi ko chup karane ke aur bhi tarike hote hai par aapne jo tarika apnaya woh toh aashchariyajanak hai.

Bondita - batuk tum...

Batuk - Arre maaf karo, mazak kar rha tha. Waise kahan jaa rhi thi aap?

Bondita - Biristerra babu ko khane ke liye bulane ke liye!

Batuk- Acha jaiyiye! As soon as his eyes went towards the study he was shocked to see the scenario. Bondita was about to turn when batuk held her hand and turned her.

Bondita - kya hua?

Batuk - woh boudi aapko bolna hi bhool gya, ki rasoi ghar se kuch jamne ki badboo aa rhi thi.

Bondita perplexed - kya?

Batuk saw that trilochan kaka was looking at him with his questioning eyes. Batuk indicated him to look inside the study. Kaka peeped inside and was raged by this. Kaka was about to go inside when batuk with his eyes asked him to stop.

Batuk-haa boudi!

Bondita - kahan aa rhi hai, mujhe toh nhi aa rhi!

Kaka- Arre bahu kuch jalne ki sugandh aa rhi hai, zara Rasoi mein dekh aao.

Bondita - ab aap bhi yahi Keh rhe hain toh dekh aa ti hoon. Par mujhe kyun nhi aa rhi. Saying this she left.

Batuk and kaka looked towards each other and went to study room.

Flash back ends.

Kaka - tumhe Humne kaha tha, itni der raat ko humare ghar mat anaa.

Saudamini - par kaka mein toh kitab lene aayi thi.

Kaka - woh toh dikh hi raha tha ki tum kya kar rhi thi.

Batuk- kaka abhi bohot raat ho gyi hai, jaan dijiye. Hum baad mein iss bare mein baat karenge. Saudamini didi ab aap jaa sakti hain.

Saudamini was about to leave when batuk said indirectly to saudamini - koi chahe kuch bhi karle, meri boudi ko agar kisine bhi rulaya toh unke devar kam bhai se uska samna hoga. Aur mujhese bura koin nhi hoga.

Saudamini left from there with anger.She saw bondita arranging the dinner on the dining table. She left with an annoying face.

Inside the study,

Kaka - Anirudh tum..

Anirudh - kaka mujhe iss bare mein baat nhi karni.

Kaka - par..

Batuk saw how tired his brother was. He could feel that his brother was going to have headache due the chaos. He stopped kaka to speak further. He told kaka to talk about this someother time.

All three of them heard Bondita's voice who was calling the family members for dinner. They came and sat on their places. Bondita could guess that something has happend as the talkative batuk was suddenly so quiet and kaka was also quite. After having the dinner all left for their respective rooms.

Kaka called batuk, som and Naina with him.

Bondita went and knocked at the study rooms door.

Anirudh - kon hai?

Bondita - mein hoon? Andar aaun?

Anirudh - haan.

Bondita - woh kitab lene aai thi, kamre mein padh lungi.

Anirudh - hmm

Bondita saw that Anirudh was pressing his head.

Bondita - sar dard ho rha hai kya?

Anirudh - huh! Kya?

Bondita - sar dard ho rha hai kya?

Anirudh - haan..

Bondita - rukiye mein abhi aayi.

Anirudh - lekin kahan.. His words were left incomplete when he saw that she left in a blink of an eye.

Suddenly he heard some sounds. Payal. He lifted his eyes to see Bondita was standing with hands at her back.

Anirudh - kahan gyi thi?

Bondita - rasoi.

Anirudh - kyun?

Bondita - aapke ke liye yeh laane..

Anirudh - nimbu?

Bondita - haan sar dard ho rha hai na, maa kehti hai nimbu ka thoda ras kha lene se sar dard kam ho jata hai.

Anirudh - Acha.

Bondita - Aazma lijiye!

Anirudh - theek hai, laao phir.

Bondita gave him and he did as she said. The sourness of the lemon lead him to make faces to which bondita laughed. Indeed in matter of few secs his headache was little better now.

Anirudh - Arre waah yeh toh sachme kaam kar gya.

Bondita - maa ka nuska hai janab, kaam toh karega na.

Anirudh - waise puri tarike se theek nhi hua hai.

Bondita - haan samajh sakti hoon. Ab mein isme kuch madat nhi kar sakti.

Anirudh - kar sakti ho!

Bondita - kya kaise?

Anirudh - mere liye coffee banaogi?

Bondita - coff.. Kya? Woh kya hota hai?

Anirudh - tumhe nhi pata?

Bondita innocently nodded in no.

Anirudh smiled in response and told - chalo banake dikhata hoon.

He took her with him to the kitchen and showed how coffee was made.

Anirudh - ab peeke batao!

Bondita - mein!?

Anirudh - jii.

Bondita - naa baba, dikhne mein hi itni kaali hai peene mein toh aur bhi kaali hogi, mera matlab kadwi hogi.

Anirudh - bondita, piyo.

Bondita - naa.

Anirudh - bondita.

Bondita - na

Anirudh - haan

Bondita - naa

Anirudh - haan

Bondita - naa

Anirudh - naa

Bondita - haan.

Anirudh smirked and took the cup. He gave it to her asking her to drink. She hesitantly took the coffee and drank a sip. No doubt it was so bitter in taste that's why the sipped coffee was spitted on Anirudh's clothes.

Anirudh with wide eyes was staring her and bondita the spitted coffee on Anirudh's clothes. She slowly moved her head up and looked at Anirudh with the best pair of innocent eyes and ran away.

Anirudh angrily groaned - bondita....

He came out of the washroom after changing his clothes only to see a coffee on table with A sorry note.

He got to know who made it and smiled lightly. He drank the coffee which turned out to be too good. Different from others. Bondita peeped inside the study and asked - kaisi bani hai?

Anirudh - kuch khaas nhi!

Bondita - Accha... Maaf kariye.

Anirudh - hmm.

Bondita - shubh Raatri.

Anirudh - good night.

Bondita was about to leave when she asked without turning - Waise aapne mujhe maaf kiya kya ? Aaj mele mein Jo hua...

Anirudh - haan.

Bondita turning around - shotti?

Anirudh - shotti!

Bondita - waise mein jaanti hoon apko meri banayi hui kapi achi lagi!

Anirudh - kaise.?

Bondita - itni jaldi khatam kar diya!

Anirudh - woh toh meine aise hi tumhara man rakhne ke liye pee liya! Aur usse coffee kehete hai, kapi nhi.

Bondita - Acha theek hai jo bhi hai, shubh Raatri.

Anirudh - good night.

Bondita left with a smile while Anirudh also slept with smile. He was having no more headache.

Saudamini was watching all these from her balcony with the help of binoculars. Her white face Turned red Chilli.

Trilochan kaka also saw this scenes and prayed to Maa Durga to keep there jodi safe and secure. Also to bless them with immense love.

Bondita was slowly developing soft corner but a little more than a friend while for Anirudh she also had started to get space in his heart for her  but as a friend. Will they realise their relation on time or something bad was going to happen? We will know it in further chapters.
