With what Munshi ji said after leaving his son and daughter n law to our family was shocking. I mean he went to wedding but ended up getting marrying someone whom he saved from the society. He was about to propose saudamini boudi today but.... We all knew that Dada had a bad temper but he would marry someone whom he doesn't know to save her from society was totally shocking. Thought personally I felt what he did was right but who would say anything I front two wild lions in front him. I felt its better to keep quit rather to say anything. My dada was always like this from the beginning. He would always differentiate between right and Wrong. Though sometimes in his anger he does something which is wrong in the eyes of the people around him excluding me. We have always heard our elder saying I am proud of you to their kids or colleagues but as I am 3 years younger than him, I want say him I am proud of you Dada because whatever he does, the outcome of it is extremely good. Remembering about my dada I remember my best friend. She is also like him, trying to bring change in society regardless the rejection and taunts she faces from this society. Don't know how but I fell in love with her. I was thinking to propose her, when I heard a screeching voice outside.Now about the marriage with the stranger I am excited to meet my boudi but scared too due to anger of my father and kaka. Batuk was biting his nails and tapping his foot on the ground. I chuckled at his behaviour. But I was worried about saudamini boudi, what will he say to her?Lets see what happens ahead!

Bondita was shocked to see somnath in front of her. No doubt why she felt the surname familiar. Now he will ask the questions to her and she has answer him anyhow otherwise she will be facing the consequences later on.

Kaka directed bihari to take her to the room while an unconvinced bondita went with him. He and Binoy went to anirudhs room.

Somnath stood there tears filled in his eyes.

Batuk who was watching his brother closely asked - somu dada!?

Som didn't reply rather ran to his room closed it and cried his heart
out.

He went towards the drawer. He took out two pictures. In one there was only a girl and in other one boy and one girl. It was of Bondita and other was none other than his and bondita.

What I saw outside was totally unexpected! Bondita was married to my brother! I mean why did it happen with me only in this world? Why!? I loved her, I was about to confess my feelings to her but this so called destiny played a game in ou lives! From childhood to my teenage I got everything which I never wanted. In my whole life I just wanted one thing, love which I could feel from her. No I am not saying that my family doesn't love me but the care love affection which I didn't get from anyone in my family, I got it from her. I don't care if she loves me or not, I am happy that I was her best friend. I had gathered a lot of courage to confess his feelings to her the very next day but see my fate. I was laughing at my fate. Only one question - why?

He kept the photographs in the drawer, went to the wash room, washed his face, and looked into the mirror. He can't go in front of her like this - Som thought.
He stayed in his room for few mins, then checked himself up in the mirror and his face was quite okay. He knew that though he lost his love today but as a her best friend he had to stay by her side. He promised himself that he will never come in between there life. He will protect her from all the people who will try to harm his best friend. Now she was not only his best friend but his baudi too. A sister-brother relation. He felt awkward by the thought of this word but he shrugged it off thinking that his best friend needed him now and he will try his level best to control the situation. With this he went out of his room. He saw Bihari walking through the walkway. He stopped him.

Somnath - Bondita kahan hai?

Bihari with his weired and funny expression - kaun? Yeh bondita kaun hai? Apki koi dost hai kya?

Somnath face palmed.

He told.

Somnath - aree woh ladki jo abhi abhi aayi hai woh kahan hai?

Bihari - Acha aap choti malkin ki baat kar rhe hai! Woh toh chote mallik ke kamre hai.

Somnath nodded and asked him to leave.

He went to his dadas room.

He saw all the jwellery on the bed. She was looking outside the window to the sky. He knew what she was thinking. He called her out.

Somnath - Bondi?

Bondita as soon as she heard his voice, tears welled up in her eyes, listening to her best friends voice.

Bondita - som!

Som came and kept his hand on her head, patted and caressed her hair and asked - tu thik hai?

And she broke listening to his voice. She sat on the floor, sitting with the support of the wall and cried her heart out.

Somnath wasn't able to see her this way - Chhup hoja bondi! Kitna royegi? Aankhen laal aur sooj jayegi. Tujhe kya lagta tera yeh dost tujhe iss halat mei dekh sakta hai kya?

Pehele baba ko cheen liya, baba ka pyar naseeb mein nhi tha, didaa aur unke parivaar ne mujhe aur meri maa ko ghar se nikal diya Yeh keheke woh Hume nhi sambhal sakte, mama mami jo sage hoke bhi sage nhi hai! Humesha meri maa ko taane aur jaan se maarne se kabhi chuke nhi! Arre Woh itna gir gye ki mujhe bechne chale the aur jab wo buzurg jo meri dada ki umar ka tha woh mar gya toh mujhe sati aur maa ko zinda jalane ko nikle the! Woh toh shukar hai tumhare bhai ka jinhone mujhe aur maa ko bachaya.

Somnath - Haan bondita, mere dada hai hi aise. Kabhi kisi ke sath galat karte hi nhi aur nahi karne dete hai. Humesha sahi ke sath shi aur galat ke sath Galt Karte hai. Lekin tere mama aur mami itne niche gir jayenge mien socha nhi tha. Unhone maa aur meri dost ki aankho se aansu nikale, Jaan se maarne ki koshish ki? Mein unhe nhi chodunga.

Bondita - Chodna toh mein bhi nhi chahti par ek galat kadam aur agar unhone kuch meri maa ke sath galat kar diya toh? Nhi aisa nhi ho sakta!

Somnath saw she was okay now, she poured her heart out in front him. That's what best friends do right? Express their feelings to their best friends.

Somnath - andar daba hua gussa aur dard nikal ke Kaos alag rha hai bondi?

Bondita smiled lightly and said - hmm

Somnath- thik hai! Iss baare mein hum baad mein milke ke sochenge. Abhi filhal tu kapde badal de aur mooh haath dhole. Hmm? Mein kapde bhijwata hoon. She smiled and ruffled her hair.

AS he got up bondita holded his hands. He looked at her confused.

Somnath - kya?

Bondita - Thank you

Somnath smiled in return.

He started to move away when she again called him

He turned and again asked being irritated.

Somnath - ab kya?

Bondita - bhook lagi hai!

Somnath chuckled and nodded. What a foodie!

He ordered bihari to heat the food while he went outside to get some decent cotton sarees for her.

Bondita looked outside the window, towards the moon. She was feeling much better after having a emotional conversation with her best friend.

Meanwhile in Saudaminis house,

She was shattered by the news that her love had married someone else. She had broke all the stuff present in her room. She was crying her heart out. She wasn't listening to anyone. Not even her didaa whom she lives the most after anirudh. She wasn't that close to her father as he was always on tours with britishers, zamindars for business.

She was crying and lost in her own thoughts when she heard him, her love, voice. It was Anirudh.

Anirudh - mini meri baat sunlo! Please ek baar sunlo. Apne anirudh ki!?

Saudamini - mujhe kuch nhi sunna chale jaun yahan se, mujhe tumhari shakal tak nhi dekhni!

Anirudh - mini ek baar bas..

Saudamini - kya sunu mein? Haan? Kya sunu!? Yahi ki tum mujhse nhi apni uss patni se pyaar karte ho?! Haan? bolo anirudh?!

Anirudh - nhi mini yeh tum Kya Keh rahi ho! Mei tumse pyaar karta hoon! I love you!!

Saudamini- jhoot! Bilkul jhoot! Tum agar mujh se pyaar karte toh uss ladki se vivah nhi karte.

Anirudh - mein usse vivah isliye kiya kyunki meri..... He stopped in his tracks when he heard a breaking voice. He was scared. He screamed "mini, mini" bit got silence in response.

He broke the door. He was shocked to see the room. Everything was broken , thrown and messed up.

He saw saudamini unconscious. He screamed "mini". He picked her up in his arms and put her on th bed.

Didaa and bhaumik babu came running. They were shocked to see the condition of the room. Bhaumik saw his daughter lying lifelessly on bed. After few mins the doctor came and examined. He gave few medicines and asked them to let her rest because she fainted due to weakness. After the doctor left Bhaumik went towards his daughter while didaa pushed Anirudh out of the house and akse him to never come here. She closed door in his face. He felt dejected.

Saudmaini gained consciousness after few mins. She was lifelessly looking towards the ceiling.

That night for souls were broken.

One soul was broken due to trust on her family.

One was broken due to his regret for not confessing before.

One was broken due to the play of his destiny

One was broken because her love broke her trust.

And I am here.
