Bondita and Naina stood at the threshold of the haveli crying. They hugged each and every member of the family. Deva and Rajeev hugged Bondita tightly. Dev opened his arms and Naina hugged him.

Breaking the hug Rajeev said teasingly: Nilesh Babu. Meri behen aur apna khayal rakhna.

Naina smiled and nodded.

Dev and Rajeev to Som and Anirudh: Humari behenon ka khayal rakhna warna...

Anirudh and Som bent down and said joining their hands : Jo aagya Prabhu.

All the villagers and the family members laughed.

Anirudh and Bondita sat on one car, along with Bani while Som and Naina sat with Saina on the other.

Bondita and Anirudh stood on the threshold of the house. Kaka did the arti and placed a white cloth on the floor. Bondita smiled and walked inside after stepping into the red water.
Naina too did the same and entered.

Kaka: Aaj kaal raatri hai. Tum log sirf aaj ke liye alag alag soge. Koyli.

Koyli: Ji Malik.

Kaka: Bondita bahu aur Naina Bahu ko le jao kamre mei.

Anirudh: Par Kaka...

Kaka : Chup raho. Aur jao so jao.

Som : Kaka woh...

Kaka : Jao.

Anirudh and Somnath left with a sulking face while Bondita and Naina retired to their room.

Next Morning was going to be hectic.

The whole RC Mansion was decorated like a bride. On the entrance of the house a beautiful rangloni was made of Radhakrishna, surrounded by diyas and flowers. After entering the house, anyone could feel the positive aura around themselves. The house was decorated with red, pink and white curtains. The flowers like marygold and roses  were dangling along the curtain from the ceiling to the end of the curtain. Diyas, lights was all over the house. Few ladies were sent to bonditas room to make her ready for all the rasams that the bride and the groom had to follow. The Ramu Halwai was sent to the kitchen to make the food and sweets so that it could be presented as a prasad to Maa Durga. Kaka and Batuk were instructing every worker batuk saw that the whole  family was busy doing their work he slowly and steadily sneaked out of the hall and went to the Mandir to get one piece of his favourite Kaju katli. As he was about to taste it, kaka stick did its job and the kaju katli fell on the thali again.

Trilochan kaka- batuk yeh karne jaa rhe the?! Tumhe pata hai na pehele Durga Maa ko bhog chadhaya jaata hai phir hun usko kha sakte hai?

Batuk mummuring to himself - pata hai par bhook lagi hai, kya karu mein mar jaaon?

Kaka - yeh kya apne aap se baat kar rhe hai, zara Hume bhi batao hum bhi sune tumhari baatein!

Reeta : Batuk jii...

Batuk: Aaaya...

He ran towards Reeta and said : Kya hua?

Reeta : Woh kaju katli khaani hai. Lao na please.

Batuk : Kaka ne kaha hau ki bhig se pehele nhi kha sakte.

Reeta frowned and saw that Kaka was coming towards them.

Reeta: Kaka sasoor ji. Woh mujhe na bhook lagi hai. Aur mujhe kaju katli khaane ka man kar rha hai.

Kaka: Haan toh bahu Khao na. Kisne mana kiya hai?

Batuk looked at Kaka shocked.

Batuk: Kaka aap? Aapne ....

Anirudh and Som decended the stairs while Bondita and Naina too came down. Four of them stood together, while the photographers clicked the photos.

Anirudh whispered to Bondita: You are looking beautiful.

Bondita: Thank you. Aap bhi ache lag rhe hai.

Anirudh: Thank you.

Both smiled at eachother and greeted the guests.

Some women started to talk about Bondita.

Woman : Itne saal beet gye, sirf ek hi beti hui hai?

Woman 2 : Arre khud ki bachi thodi na hai? Sauteli beti hai.

Woman 3 : Kya baat kar rhe ho didi?

Woman : Arre ghar mein do do betiya hai. Ek ladka nahi hua ab tak. Choti bahu pait se hai. Agar woh bhi ladki hui toh, samjho satyanaash.

Batuk from behind: Agar bakwaas ki baatein hi gyi ho toh, khaana khaa lena. Warna ghar se Bahar ka raasta aapko Pata hi hai.

The woman giving a fake smile left while Batuk left to look after Reeta.

Sumati heard all this and sighed. She needs to talk with her son and daughter.

The guests started to leave after bidding a bye to the family members. Only Das Family and Roy Chowdhary Family were present. They were having their dinner , laughing and talking at the same time. Anirudh and Bondita were glancing each other occasionally. Naina had gone to her room to make Saina sleep while Som was taking food for her.

Bondita noticed that Bani was no where  to be seen, so she asked Koyli.

Koyli: Pata nahi choti Malkin, aakhri baar jab dekha tha toh woh bihari ke saath khel rhi thi.

Bondita nodded and excusing herself she looked for Bani. She saw that Bani had already slept, while Bihari was keeping all the things back to its place with drowsy eyes.

Bondita : Bhari Kaka. Aap rehne dijiye. Yeh sab kal bhi ho jayega. Jayiye, araam kar lijiye.

Bihari: Par Bahu Raani ji, bade maalik..

Bondita: Woh kuch nhi kahenge. Mein baat kar lungi. Aap jaiye.

Bihari: Ji bahu raani ji. Dhanyavaad.

Bondita nodded. Bihari left yawning while Bondita picked up Bani in her arms and went to room. Anirudh also excusing himself went behind Bondita. Sumati saw this as a best opportunity and went behind them.

Bondita made Bani lie down beside Saina. Anirudh entered and saw Bondita was covering the children with blanket.

Anirudh : Bani aur saina ne khana khaya tha?

Bondita: Haan.

Anirudh nodded and kissed both of their foreheads.

Sumati from behind: Jamai Babu, Bondita.

Anirudh: Kya hua Maa? Kuch chahiye kya?

Sumati looked here and there while Bondita said: Bolna Maa kya hua?

Sumati asked them to come out.

Bondita: Maa. Yeh kya keh rhi hai?

Sumati: Beta tere heet ke liye hi keh rhi hoon. Kya tera kabhi man nhi hua ki tera khud ka Bacha ho. Apna khoon.

Anirudh: Bani bhi apni hai Maa. Mujhe Baba ka ehsaas aur Bondita ko Maa ka ehsaas ussi ne dilaya tha.

Sumati : Mei mana nhi kar rhi jamai Babu. Par apne rishte pe bhi dhyaan dena zaroori hai. Meri baat ko samjhte aur sochiye.
She left them in pool of thoughts.

Bondita saw that outside it was raining. Rain has always been a best medicine for her to release all the tensions. She without telling Anirudh turned and left.  Anirudh to divert his  mind, took something from the drawer and turned bit couldn't find her.

He heard the rain and sighed. He walked towards the terrace. By now everyone had slept.

He looked at her , twirling under the sky with open arms.
He went towards her, keeping the packet inside his pocket. He snaked his arms around her waist and whispered: kya kar rhi ho yahan?

Bondita resting her head on his shoulder: Mein konsa aapko chodke door jaane waali thi.

In a swift Anirudh turned her. Their noses touching, eyes closed.
Anirudh: Shh. Kuch bhi bola mat karo. Mana kiya tha na.

Bondita: Sorry.

Anirudh slowly opened his eyes and asked her to do the same. Bondita opened her eyes and smiled seeing the proximity.
She bit her lips and was about to move back when his hold around her waist tightened.

Anirudh rubbed their noses while Bondita looked at him.
He looked in her eyes but Bondita closed her eyes opened her lips a little.

Anirudh slowly kissed her and so did Bondita. He broke the kiss and turned her. Keeping all her hair at one side, he snuggled to her neck while Bondita clutched her saree.

They separated themselves as they heard Kaka's voice.
