Anirudh was standing outside the house, thinking about the incident in the kitchen ,when a boy came and handed him a note.

Anirudh noticed that it would rain any moment. He took an umbrella and went to the directed area as written in the note.

Anirudh- kon hai?kisne bulaya hai mujhe yahan?

The person opened the mask.

Anirudh was shocked to see that the person was a girl. He then remembered the men talking about a krantikaari- woman.

Krantikaari- mein kom hoon ,kahan se hoon yeh jaane ki zaroorat nhi hai.

Anirudh- mere aur meri patni ke baare mein itna sab kuch kaise Pata? Kya chahiye tumhe?

Krantikaari- desh ko azaad karne mein Mera saath doge. Mera bas ek hi sapna hai, apni desh ki aazaadi. Apni patni ki school ki fees aur desh ki aazaadi ka acha mauka hai tumahre paas.

Krantikaari- tum iss baare mein apni patni ko kuch nhi bologe.

Anirudh thought for a while and nodded . The krantikaari left .

Anirudh with a smile - hum jeet ki raaste mei 2 dusra kadam rakh diya hai bondita.

He went to the house and found a worried Bondita.
He thought to scare her but the stars weren't with him and Bondita turned and saw him. He sighed knowing what's coming.

Bondita- kahan the aap? Bina bataye kahan chale gye the?

Anirudh- yehi paas hi mein, bhraman karne gya tha.

Bondita- bata ke jaate. Kitna pareshaan thi mein.

Anirudh- aacha aage se nhi hoga.

Bondita- shotti?

Anirudh- shotti.

Bondita- chaliye khaana khaa lete hain.

Anirudh nodded. Both sat to have dinner. As usual they talked while eating.

After some time.

Anirudh was outside trying to sleep but today's kitchen incident wasn't letting him to. Cherry on top, his enemies - Mosquitos.

Bondita wasn't sleeping but reading a book. Kabir ke Dohe.

Anirudh stood up from his place. He saw that bondita was reading something. He went inside the house and asked- kya padh rhi ho?

Bondita freaked out suddenly by his voice.

Bondita- aise achanak se kon aata haii?

Anirudh- mein.

Bondita- hahaha. Very funny.

Anirudh sighed and asked - bolo na kya padh rhi ho.

Bondita- kabir ke dohe.

Anirudh- arre waah. Mujhe bhi sunao zara.

Bondita- zaroor. She looked at him while saying -

Anirudh closed his eyes when she recited the Dohe. A smile lingered on his face. He remembered the kitchen incident. He opened his eyes being surprised and saw that Bondita was reading the book.

He cleared his throat and gained Bondita's attention.

Anirudh- abhi so jao, bohot raat ho gyi hai.

Bondita nodded and said - good night.

Anirudh- good night.

Anirudh went outside and leaned to the wall looking at sky. Bondita too came towards the window and looked at the sky. The stars were twinkling and the moon was shining. A smile was there on their faces.

From the other day to the next week Anirudh and Krantikaari practiced. Both maintained a professional relationship and practiced hard. Anirudh was feeling guilty that he was hiding such a big secret from Bondita. He nevert wanted to. His aim was Bondita's school fees and he can do anything to get that.

Bondita where as was doing three works at a time. The household chores,studying and little bit of day dreaming. She used to blush whenever she thought about Anirudh. Once ,Anirudh caught her but she said that her cheeks are red due to the hot weather. Anirudh and Bondita always used to cook together and eat together. No matter how tired they were , they would help eachother. Anirudh was always there for her studies while Bondita sometimes helped in Anirudh's cases.
Both started to evolve in a new relation ,unknown to them.

The day soon arrived where Anirudh has to do the work in order to get Bondita's fees. He was a bit worried because if something happens to him then what would happen to Bondita? Will the society let her live peacefully? All these thoughts crossed his mind but when he saw Bondita's smiling face ,he felt a bit relieved.

He left the house and started with his work. He successfully freed krantikaari's saathi from the clutches of the britishers but he had put his life at stake.
Bondita when saw that the fire had caught Anirudh's clothes, she freaked out. She somehow saved him and brought him back to the house.
She stayed awake the whole night and took care of him.

Anirudh when woke up ,saw that bondita was weeping and applying medicines in his wounds.
He smiled a bit seeing her concern.
He with the help of the wall got up only to wince in pain.

Bondita helped in getting up and made him drink water.

Bondita puffed her and looked away.

Bondita hugged him. Anirudh hugged her back and caressed her hairs.
Both were smiling and crying together.

Both came out of each other's embrace and Bondita said- ek vaada karenge?

Bondita- aap apnii jaan mere liye kabhi jokhim mein nahi daalenge.

Anirudh was shocked to hear her.
He denied saying- nahi bondita, mein yeh vaada nhi kar sakta.

Anirudh was about to say something when Kaka entered.

Bondita was shocked to hear him. Everyone was shocked to hear him.

Kaka- Anirudh, tumahri aur Bondita ki shaadi puri vidhi vidhaan ke saath hui hai. Aur yeh tumhe swikaar karna hi hoga.

Anirudh- meine Bondita se vivaah kiya par sirf uski jaan bachane ke liye. Zimmedari hai bas woh meri..

Bondita- par meine toh nhi kaha tha na jaan bachane ke liye.?

Turning towards him,said- kaha tha kya meine? Nhi na.

Anirudh- Bondita..

Bondita- meine aapse saaf saaf kaha tha ki aap chale jayiye yahan se ,mein kuch kar lungi ,par aapne suna ? Nhi.
Toh phir mujhe kyun sunaya jaa rha hai?

Anirudh- bondita, bas ab. Ek shabd aur nhi. Tum meri Zimmedari...

Bondita- Zimmedari Zimmedari Zimmedari! Tang aa gyi hoon yeh shabd sunte sunte. Bas bhi kariye. Rehem khayiye mujhpar.

Anirudh didn't say anything and went away from there, leaving her between the society and family.

Som to the villagers- aap sab chale jayiye.

The villagers went with whispering and muttering as they got enough to gossip.
Bondita heard a woman saying - bojh hai shayad choti malkin.

The word " bojh" caught her attention and she ran towards Anirudhs study. She found it locked. She banged the doors and shouted- darwaza kholiye.
Meine kaha darwaza kholiye.

Anirudh who was inside the study was trying his best to not loose hi calm but the constant callings of Bondita, made him infuriated and he opened the door.

Bondita- kya jo gaon waale keh rhe hain,kya woh such hai? Kya mein--

Anirudh- Haan, jo gaon waale keh rhe hain ,woh sach hai. Ab please mujhe kuch der ke liye akela chod do.

Bondita stood there numb. Anirudh closed the door and covered it with the curtains.
Bondita was standing there numb,with tearful eyes.
She came out of her thoughts , by falling of metal voice.
She ran to her room and cried.
Here Anirudh was crying holding his head.

He again heard a banging voice on the door.

Anirudh, thought it was Bondita so decided to ignore. But the banging got louder with each passing time.
Frustrated, he opened the door and said - kya hai Bondita.

Bondita, nhi uska bhai- person.

Anirudh- som.

Somnath- Dada Bahar yeh sab aapne kya kiya?

Anirudh- Som abhi nhi..

Som- ab nahi toh Kab dada? Aaj aapne jo kiya woh bilkul galat tha.

Anirudh- Aur jo baaki log kar rhe hain, woh sab?

Som- toh uska gussa aap boudi pe nikalenge? Arre boudi toh iss bare mein kuch nhi jaanti.

Anirudh kept mum.

Som- aur yeh kya patni nhi hai patni nhi hai ,laga ke rakha hai? Zimmedaari hai bas woh aapki?

Anirudh- Haan sirf zimmedari hai. Aur kuch nhi.

Som- sach?

Anirudh- Haan.

Som - theek hai phir , ek baat batayiye , jab bondita ki zimmedaari khatam ho jayegi aur aapko chod ke chali jayegi toh kya aap reh payenge uske Bina?

Anirudh kept mum for sometime ,cleared his throat and without meeting his eyes ,said - Haan,reh lunga. Waise bhi...ek zimmedari hai.

Bondita had come from the room to talk with him and sort the things peacefully but when she heard the conversation between Som and Anirudh, she was completely broken. She lifelessly dragged her feet,to the room. She sat there in a corner and cried.

Here Anirudh and Somnath were having a fight rather than a peaceful conversation.

Som - dada, aaj aapne jo kiya woh bojot galat tha. Aapne Bondita ke baare mein ,socha bhi nhi?

Anirudh- bas karo. Tumhe Pata bhi hai aaj meine uski notebook mein kya dekha?

Anirudh showed him the notebook where Bondita had written Anirudh and Bondita inside a heart.
Som was surprised but wasn't shocked. He knew it was natural to have feelings for someone. What's wrong in it?

Som- par dada isme galat kya hai?

Anirudh- galat kya hai? Galat woh hai jo woh mere liye mehsoos kar rhi hai.

Som- dada , boudi bhi ek imsaan hai. Yeh sab toh aam si baat hai na , ek insaan ke liye? Woh agar aapse pyaar karti hai toh isme galat kya hai?

Anirudh- Jab humara waisa rishta hi nhi hai, toh kya yeh sab galat nhi?

Som- aap bhi toh Saudamini didi se pyaar karte the? Shyad vivaah ke baad bhi. Kya woh galat nhi ? Aap kare yoh sahi, boudi kare toh galat.

Anirudh- bondita mujhse pyaar nhi karti. Yeh sab uska ,mehez ek lagaav hai mere prati. Aur kuch nhi .

Som- yeh aap mujhe bol rhe hain,par kya aapko kabhi nhi laga ki woh aapse pyaar karti hai? Din bhar sirf Pati babu yeh, pati babu woh karti rehti hai. Kya yeh pyaar nhi?

Anirudh- nhi hai. Attraction hai. Aur kuch nhi.

Som sighed knowing that his brother was very stubborn. And his boudi is more stubborn than him. The thought of boudi crossed his mind and he realised she must be crying all alone. He was about to move away when he Said to Anirudh- Yaad rakhiyega dada. Agar aapne iske baad koi bhi galat kaam kiya,aur boudi ko dukh pahunchaya, toh aapka saamna Somnath Roy Chowdhary se nhi balki Bondita ke som dada se hogi. Aur agar bondita ke dada se saamna hua,toh anjaam acha nhi hoga.

And saying this he left.

Anirudh was shocked to hear Som but soon concluded that he was protective about Bondita. Bondita considered Som as a brother and it was duty of som to not let anyone harm his boudi,his sister.
Infact ,the whole family was protective for bondita.

He pulled his hairs in frustration. He was feeling suffocated in the house. In order to calm himself he went outside.

A boy came and handed him a note, and ran away.

Anirudh read the note and his frustration increased. He headed towards the area where he was called.

Outside bondita's room.

Som was standing Bondita's room.

Som- boudi.

He heard sniffing sounds. Som cursed his brother.

Som- Bondita.

Bondita opened the door and Som was shocked to see her state. Her face and eyes were red due to constant crying.

Bondita stepped back and let som in.

Som- bondita yeh kya halat bana ke rakhi hai? He made her sit on bed and brought water for her.
After making her drink water , he asked - kyun aisi halat bana ke rakhi hai? Pagal ho gyi ho kya?

Bondita- shayad Haan. Kya karun mein kuch samajh nhi aa rha.

Som- kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi hai.
Shaant ho jao. Mein dada se baat karunga.

Bondita- jaise abhi kuch der pehele ki?

Som,shocked- tumne sab..

Bondita- sunliya.

Som- boudi..

Bondita- dada kya aapne apni zindagi mein bebas mehsoos Kiya hai? Jisse aap dil se beintehaa, pyaar karte ho, woh aapse pyaar na kare, toh kaise mehsoos hota hai? Aapko Pata hai mujhe bohot dard mehsoos ho rha hai. Dam ghoot rha hai. Pata nhi kya ho rha hai mere saath par bohot dard mehsoos ho rha hai.

Som knew the pain. Of course why wouldn't he? He used to love her selflessly. How he had wished that she would be his but his hopes and dream broke when she had come home ,married to his brother. He cried that day. He had cursed his destiny, his life. But he soon got over his feelings , when he felt that Anirudh and Bondita were made for eachother. People say " two bodies,one soul". Som felt the very same when he saw Bondita and Anirudh together. He didn't feel bad ,rather felt happy for his brother that he got a life Partner like Bondita. But today whatever happened made him remember the day when bondita first entered the house. Today she was in his place. Heartbroken.

Som- Nahi boudi,aisa nhi hai naahi aap Dada pe bojh hain,aur naahi parivaar waalon pe. Arre aapke aane ke baad toh iss ghar mein ronak aur khushiyaan aayi hai. Aap jab tak yahan nhi thi toh yeh sirf bada sa makaan hi toh tha. Maa ke jaane ke baad , ghar ne toh jaise hasna hi chod diya tha. Par jabse aap aayi hai,yahan ke log phirsr jeene lage. Ek dusre ke sath jo parivaar kal tak baat bhi nhi karta tha , aaj woh parivaar ek dusre se baat kiye bina nhi reh sakta? Toh bhala jo iss ghar mein khushiyan lekar aaya hai, woh kabhi bojh ho sakta hai kya? Nahi na.

Bondita- par dada..

Som- mein yeh ek dost hone ke naate keh rha hoon, devar hone ke naate nhi. Yaad hai na ,mein aapka devar hone se pehele ek dost hoon. Sabse acha dost.

Bondita sighed and nodded.

Som- toh bas ab , yeh roti hui shakal hatayiye aur meri uss dost aur boudi ko wapas laayiye jo kahin chup gyi hai iss roti hui shakal ke peeche.

Bondita smiled a little.

Som -yeh hui na baat. Acha ek baat bolun.

Bondita- bolo.

Som- aap na roti hui shakal mein na ek dam chudail lagti hai.

Bondita narrowed her eyes and finally let out a chuckle.

Som- chalo ab khaana kha lete hain.

Bondita- man nhi hai.

Som- bhool gyi kya ,ki meine kya kha tha, Pura parivaar ne khane ki taraf dekha tak nhi hai.

Bondita nodded - theek hai aa rhi hoon.

Som nodded and before leaving caressed Bondita's hairs and left thinking- jo vaada kiya tha ,ab woh mein nibhaunga. Vaada kiya tha ki aapki raksha karunga boudi, ab uspe khare uttarne ki baari hai. Aapke dada aapke saath, humsha rahenge boudi.humesha.

Anirudh- kyun bulaya hai mujhe yahan?

Manorama- Mera ek aakhri baar saath doge?

Anirudh- kaisa saath?

Manorama- mujhse shaadi karoge?

In RC Mansion.

Bondita was sitting in front of the mirror. She was thinking something. After that ,she left the room and headed towards the dining area.

She called everyone out for dinner.
Everyone came and were surprised to see Bondita . She gave a smile to them and asked them to have the dinner. Everyone sat on their placed and had the dinner quietly. Naina and Batuk weren't present as they had gone for the school excursion ,bondita wasn't able to go because ,bondita didn't fill the forms,to be precise she didn't want to go.

After dinner , Binoy and Kaka came towards her and patted her head gently and assured her that everything would be fine, to which bondita replied with a light smile- Haan, ab sab theek hoga.

Som was keenly observing Bondita and concluded that she was upto something.
Best friend indeed.

Som- kya soch rhe ho boudi?

Bondita - kuch nhi dada.

Som- jhoot?

Bondita- nhi toh.

Manorama- nakli hogi.

Anirudh- mujhe maaf karna,mein iss mein tumhara saath nhi dunga.

Manorama- koi baat nhi.

Suddenly they heard a British officer saying something on a mic .

British officer - Chaaron aur se pure Tulsipur ko gher lo. Woh krantikaari aur uska saathi bachna nhi chahiye kisi bhi halat mein. Saamne jo ayae sabko maardo ,par mujhe woh krantikaari kisi bhi keemat par chahiye.

Anirudh when heard the announcement, turned to look that Manorama had already left.

He sighed and headed back towards the haveli.

Dining Area.

Som- shotti?

Bondita- shotti dada.

Som wasn't convinced but shrugged off his thoughts.
Som had his dinner, and muttering a good night left, not before making sure that Bondita was fine.

Bondita had half of the food and left towards her room.
She asked koyli to clean the table and told to serve food to Anirudh whenever he comes.

Bondita- kamre mein ,mein jab tak na bolun, kisi ko aane mat dena didi.

Koyli- agar barrister babu aaye toh?

Bondita- keh dena khaa ke so gyi hai. Aur kisi se nhi milne chahati.

Koyli nodded and left to do her work while Bondita left towards her room.

After 5 minutes.

Anirudh entered the house. He was feeling a bit relief, after getting fresh air. He went towards the dining area and saw koyli working - koyli, tum soyi nhi abhi tak?

Koyli- table saaf kar rhi thi maalik.
Phir chali jaungi.

Anirudh nodded and drank water.
He then asked- sabne khana khaya?

Koyli - Haan, bahurani jii ,aayi thi sabko khilakar chali gyi.

Anirudh, after a pause - Bondita ne khaya?

Koyli nodded and pointed towards Bondita's plate- Haan khaya,par Pura nhi . Kaha ki pait bhar gya.

Anirudh took the plate and was about to go to Bondita's room when koyli stopped him and said - bahu rani ji ne kaha hai ,ki woh kisi se bhi nhi milna chahti. Aapse bhi nhi.

Anirudh ,frowned and let out a sad sigh.

Koyli- par..

Anirudh- par?

Koyli- par kaha ki aapko khana paros doon.

Anirudh smiled ,feeling Bonditas concern for him.

Anirudh- nhi ,parosne ki zaroorat nhi hai ,mein bondita ki thaal mein se khaa lunga.

Koyli- par, yeh toh jhoota hai.

Anirudh- kou baat nhi, Mera pait issi mein se bhar jayega.
And started to eat.

Koyli thinking- hey maa!! Inke Jodi ko kisi ki nazar na lage. Kehte hai, jhoota khane se pyaar badhta hai. Ashirwaad banaye rakhna maa. Ashirwaad banaye rakhna.

2:45 am.

Someone decended down the stairs with a bag in her hand. She looked everywhere to check whether everything was fine or not.
After finding all okay and everything in its place, the person came out of the haveli.

The light fell on the person and it was revealed that it was - Bondita.
