flashback: one week ago

"hey yeosang?" san asked one day. they were currently sitting on the floor in sans room practicing grammar when a thought came to sans mind.

"if we all have soulmates why are my parents divorced?" he's been curious ever since he found out. he thought soulmates were to live together till the end. he's always wondered what made his parents split up. he's asked his mother multiple times throughout his life. wondering where his father was and why he wasn't here.

yeosang looked at the boy and wondered. he didn't know why and he never even heard of soulmates ever breaking up. "i'm not so sure... have you asked your mom?" he too was also curious.

soulmates under any circumstance never broke up. they cared about each other more than themselves. san looked over and sighed hoping he'd get an answer. he's googled it but nothing ever came up to answer. he assumed it was just human nature that his parents didn't fit each other.

maybe they weren't soulmates? maybe they had just met each other and liked each other? he wasn't sure but he knew his mother would never answer him about it. he debated whether he should go find his fathers house. a place that he once lived happily. his fathers words had always stuck to him.

"my doors always open." maybe he would give him answers. he wasn't sure how to approach his dad. what he would say. did he have someone else in his life now? how come he's never seen his dad since and why didn't he make attempts to try and meet with san?
he had so many questions that could possibly remain unanswered.

"don't think too much about it, they probably had a difference in views." yeosang smiled. he understood why san would be curious, it was a strange situation. san sighed but smiled anyways. he decided to not let this ruin his trip and that he'd deal with it afterwards.

small chapter to lead onto future events haha this might hurt some of us i'm evil i know <3

but anyways i now know exactly what's gonna happen and how it's gonna end, it won't be a sad ending but the fic will take a mini turn :)
